Please reblog if you like my work!
Don't proceed if yanderes/dark stuff aren't what you want to view. Do not blame me for what you decide to read or what others decide to do.
I prefer platonic stuff, though I don't mind writing some 'romantic' ones too.
Hello, you can call me Kiku. I'm the creator of this blog :) I'm Kikuofan on a03
I've had an intrest in the yandere trope (or overall angst and hurt/comfort) for lots of the fanfic/internet story period of my life. Probably because I'm a bit of an edgy mf when I write. I hope to make enjoyable stories!
If a character doesn't have too much yandere potential, I may ignore the request. If you want to remain anonymous, then put that at the start of your request, and I will only take a screenshot.
Keep in mind the yandere trope often leads to dark places. Always read the warnings and tags. Only read what you can take. You are responsible for your consumption! Do not think any of these behaviors are okay in real life. It's abusive and not cute.
I self insert, but I'll try to keep specific details of the appearance out unless someone requests otherwise.
---
Please dni if you
>Are radqueer<
>You're an "irl yandere" who genuinely thinks it's okay to treat people badly.<
>Write/read RPF (real people fiction) smut <
>Enjoy loli/shota<
(> < means I REALLY don't want you on my blog, even if it's just to read or like.)
Honestly that's it, just be a respectful person to everyone. Don't be a bigot and a jerk. I don't care about most stuff because dnis don't work lots of the time..
---
If you've made a character on here and want them removed, just tell me! The same goes for the situation where you know that a creator is uncomfortable with yandere versions of their characters. Just send me proof of your claims and I'll take stuff down.

Anything interesting, honestly!
What I will do
Platonic and Romantic yanderes
Getting saved from a yandere. As long as it has the yandere element.
Fluff (Though it'll be hard to do, especially for certain characters.)
Many dark themes. Usually I'm fine with writing them, if they aren't listed here.
Honestly, anything not stated in the 'won't do.'
Character archetypes (Ex: Hunter, alien, magical girl, etc.)
Heavy angst
What I won't do
NO REAL PEOPLE!
Usually, I won't write smut. There might be am exception at times though. I won't take requests for it though. At least until I'm comfortable.
Gooner boys from Dagangropa
Despair Girls (I don't know anything about it...)
Most fandoms I don't know about. I'll do it if you give enough information about that character, and they're easy to research. Please don't expect perfect characterization.
Ocs without explanation on their character.
Minor x adult reader
Although I understand this is hypocritical in a way (this IS a yandere blog), I do not want to write non con smut.
Incest
Fandoms
Danganropa (my knowledge is rusty but I'll do my research!)
Phighting!
DDLC
Madoka Magica
Block Tales
It's unlikely to get requests, but possibly stuff from the Breaking Bad franchise.
SCP (I need to read more of them, so this may help me do just that!)
TADC (I might take longer though)
(Re:Zero once I finish it. When I do, I'll probably make a post or remove this part!)
Mob Psycho 100
☆Lastly, please add details. Doesn't have to be each of them, be here are some ideas: The situation, the tone, any sort of history, a reader with a specific type of personality/role/appearance, whether you want mood boards, stories headcanons, POV, etc.☆
hi !! hope ur day/evening/night is going well :) i wish to make a request.....
is there any chance you could do platonic yandere of katana from phighting with a teen!reader? if you want extra angst you could make him paranoid of the reader being hurt by the church of the true eye :D
SORRY IF THIS IS TOO VAGUE I DONT USUALLY MAKE REQUESTS 💔💔
You're good don't worry. I added some lore to the reader.

It is so bright. The sun sears your eyeballs painfully the first time you see it. Everything was so different in Blackrock, with the frigid weather and endless clouds. That place was dull and monotonous, but terrifying with its laws and conformity. Seared eyeballs were better than a bloodied and frozen brain.
This place is like an oven, though. A moist oven. This humidity makes you question if there's more water than air here. Gross, so gross! But unfortunately, there's no way to go inside. Every place costs money because of greedy little business demons and their greedy little hands. Ehh, actually, you can't exactly talk about greed given that you come from Korblox. Greedy big hands are up there, hoarding the will to live from everyone else.
But, is it that different down here, given the SFOTH? They may be less involved, but they still are pretty awful. Especially that bitch Windforce. And Banhammer. He was an insufferable nepobaby! Both of them were!
The city had an endless cacophony of noise. The buildings felt like they'd crush anything if they moved closer together. But that's still better than Blackrock. It feels less empty.
You swim through the sea of people, uttering small apologies and hoping that no one feels especially trigger-happy today. SFOTH, it's so hot out. Why the hell is it so hot out? You'd do anything for a cold drink. Or AC.
Some people stared at you, given the dirty hoodie. You'd take it off, but you still needed to find a new shirt. Why couldn't you have been born in any other faction? Why do factions have to exist anyways?
The sea of people becomes less dense as time goes on. Slowly but surely, the noise of other people starts to dissipate. Soon, there's plenty of free space. Thank the Inphinity.
Clatter
You look down at the source of the noise to see a talisman. It was beautiful, with shimmering gems on it. It seemed to be real gems too! You look up to see who dropped it, surprised they'd drop something so beautiful and expensive. Maybe they were a sheltered kid and didn't realize they should hide it? Your gaze darts upwards to figure out who they were. The stature of the Inphernal makes you freeze in place. This guy was HUGE.. You almost worry he'd beat you up if he thinks you were stealing. Many things could go wrong…
Just give it to him… That'll make him realize you're good. Maybe it's all a test and he'll give you money! (What the fuck are you talking about??)
You swoop down to make the art down before anyone else does. That last thing that one should do is let something like that be stolen. After that, you sprint over to the behemoth of man, and tap his shoulder. The sharp turn he made would make anyone flinch. Please be nice, don't hurt me…“Uhm.. You dropped this.”
STUPID IDIOT MORON! HE'S GOING TO KILL YOU!
He stares down at the talisman held in front of him, and immediately tenses up. He quickly grabs the thing, looking all over the surfaces. It's clearly an important object to the guy. Maybe a heirloom? Whatever, it’s not your business and you can't ask. ‘Why?’ you question yourself. In response, you say ‘why are you asking me? I'm you!’” Now you're even fighting yourself.
Time keeps on passing. It seems almost endless. Could this just be over with? Why does a few seconds feel endless? At some point, the idea of being shoved doesn't sound so bad. It's better than this for sure.
Should you go now? He already got what he wanted… So it's best to not stand here awkwardly for no reason. You quickly utter your goodbyes, before turning around.
“Thank you.”
For a few moments, your whole body tenses up. For a moment, everything freezes. After looking back, it's clear that the guy is more relaxed. He no longer has such a rigid posture. Thank whatever higher power there is.. Or the guy himself if there is none.
“Oh, uh.. No problem. Have a great day.”
After that, you run to your destination.. You're glad that man stopped you, or else you would've been running the wrong way…
Days later, you stand under some canopy, avoiding an intense shower of rain that threatens to make you sick. It would smell nice elsewhere, but the sheer amount of smog was revolting. SFOTH, when would it ever end?! If only there was a place that didn't kick you out for loitering. It's so hot out here!
Time seems to stretch out forever. At some point you just zone out. It's not a great idea to do that here, but.. oh well! That's something you've been saying a lot lately. It makes everything easier. Just fade away until it's time to do something else.
When you look up, you see a familiar face, or rather, a mask. Is that the guy from earlier? You notice his coat was pretty torn, and suddenly get an idea. You could offer to stitch it up, then ask for help getting a place to stay. It's a stupid idea, you realized, but it's worth a try. Something bad will happen either way. With a mind too clouded with hunger and fear, you walk up to the red-horned demon.
“Uh… Hello. Could I sew up your clothes? All you'd have to do is tell me potential places to stay.”
Then, he just… stares at you. You stand there, nervously counting down the seconds until you decide to run.. After a few, your mood shifts slightly, now in a more confused state. Why did this guy just stare?
“Uh- uhmm… Sorry?”
Wow. ‘What an idiot’, you think. Now this feels more awkward than anything. Maybe he's staring because of how much you make people cringe. Though, even with these negative emotions, no movement occurs. There's still something that paralyzes you in the air.
“You must tread more carefully, especially when travelling along paths such as these. People will take advantage of you, young one. I will help you, but do not repeat this. Do not worry about my coat, I have a particular way of fixing things anyways.”
A few seconds pass of pure silence, before your muscles finally decide to let you have control once more. Whatever was in the air is gone now. Thank Ghostwalker for giving you another day. He's helping for free? Wow… The sewing kit is returned to its designated place in your bag. You had taken it to fix up clothes that got torn up. It's not like money grew on trees. That would probably make inflation really bad, now that you think about it.. Maybe everything would be worse if money grew on trees. Wait, shit, pay attention. Money will never grow on trees! Shut up! Pay attention!
Katana tells you that there’s a group of people who'd be willing to help you out given the chance. They need some more help in their cafe, and would be willing to aid you in return. It turns out he lives nearby them, so it was quite easy to get to their place. Thankfully, the one named Vinestaff seemed willing to help. So did Shuriken. Slingshot, the owner of the café, was a perfectionist. Though you did do a lot of stuff revolving around helping with technology. Including saving their ass for cheap when they otherwise would've had to pay a bunch to fix something. And setting up a better neon sign. Not to mention cleaning. So it's safe to say you secured your position.
So time passed. Over the next few months, you helped the trio and Katana with different things. You talk to him more and more. The trio seems to be happy about it.
“It's pretty cool you managed to befriend him. Usually he prefers to be alone..”
Vinestaff comments one day, sipping on her cup of tea. It was funny to see a cute tiny teacup in her big hand and arm. So buff… She still was cute herself though, so you supposed it matched.
“I can see that.. He seems pretty decent though, once you get past.. you know.” The patio was relaxing. At this point, the mechanical noises of the streets had become a calming ambience rather than a nuisance. They were distant enough to not be overpowering. The incense she had lit up filled the air with a calming aroma. You were about to speak again when...
“DUDE!!!”
You flinch out of your seat, snapping your quite irritated face toward Shuriken. He stands there awkwardly, still processing the situation, before promptly deciding to apologize for the rather startling greeting.
“Haha.. Sorry about that! Anyways, Katana wants to see you for training.. Good luck with that! The guy is crazy with that stuff.”
Training? When did you agree to do that?! Katana has some explaining to do… all you wanted was to enjoy this tea with Vinestaff. You quickly apologize to the one in pink, before leaving to go see the masked demon. When you walk into his apartment, he greets you with his usual prose filled language.
“Hello, child. I have decided that you need training in order to defend yourself from corruption. They love to reach for the vulnerable. Discipline is important to get by in this world.”
Is he worried? It's almost as sweet as it is annoying. He made this decision without your permission.. Though it's out of a genuine place of care. Though, there's also something else he said. Something important.
Corruption? What exactly was he talking about? Still, you could use some training. It'd be quite useful. After a few short moments of consideration, he gets a yes.
The way he's staring is a bit unnerving though. Even through the shadows of the mask you can sense anxiety and anger building up. Hopefully it won't get too bad, it's best this powerhouse doesn't lose his mind more than he has.
He shoves a sword in your hands.. You'd ask why you can't use your gear, but at the same time it makes sense. He probably wouldn't know how to use it. Plus, it's better to know two weapons than one, right? If you can't summon your gear, you can use something else. You also learnt about the church.. How awful they were. It seems the people in power were awful no matter where you went. Just to varying degrees.
So, the days pass. Katana is obsessive on building discipline. Hours upon hours of training with little breaks. You hardly have free time anymore, and it feels insanity inducing. Just one day! One! But no, apparently busting one's ass everyday is important! This is just like Blackrock.. Aside from the threat of death if you didn't do good enough, but still!
“You need to fix your form.”
“You can't let your mind drift.”
“You shouldn't eat that right now.”
“Be careful where you go. Do not go to places alone.”
You shan’t this, thou shan't that! How about thou shut up and shat?!
Your muscles constantly ached and so did your mind! You didn't want to sit through 2 hours of meditation again. So tonight, you left a note saying you'd be going to a bar. You just needed to relax today.
The night was pretty. The neon signs glowed throughout the street like a rainbow, lighting up the wet street and making it look like space.. Honestly, the asphalt looks more like space than the sky itself here. But regardless, it was a pretty sight. After a few more minutes of walking, you arrive at the bar. It seems pretty full, though who cares about that? You spot a group of people leaving their area for the night, and immediately take their spot after they leave! Perfect! You're so lucky tonight.
After asking for some white wine, you immediately take out a sketchbook and start drawing. Might as well. It's pretty fun to draw people. You used to do it on your lunch break back at Korblox. Though here people are more diverse. Which makes it even better!Time passes, and soon you're done with your first drink. As you consider what to order next, someone sits down next door. They seem to be wearing quite a lot of teal. At first you think: “How pretty!” Then your mind shifts to: “they're from the church!” Red flags raise up… Or would they be teal?
Either way, you immediately become more vigilant. You probably shouldn't drink. You look at them once more, trying to get a hold on their appearance.Their horns are teal and curve backwards. They seem a bit damaged too.. Ouch! Looking downwards, it's apparent that the demon is tired but happy to be here. It's strange how relatable that is, despite them sort of being your enemy. Wait… You got noticed.
“Hey.. Uh. Are you okay?”
The acolyte inquires, looking almost nervous. Shoot, should you respond? Probably not, Katana may not like that-
“Yeah.. Uhm, sorry you startled me. How are you?Shit.. Well, you already messed it up. Might as well continue! It'd be interesting to hear from a church member anyways. The only things you had heard were from their number one hater, Katana.
“When she threw me off that island, it was basically a death sentence. But despite all odds, I managed to survive. It was hard, though. I wandered for years, finding anything I could to eat and anywhere to sleep. It was terrifying. After some time, though, a fellow acolyte picked me up. They showed me the family, the truth… For the first time in my life I felt safe and warm. They have their issues.. But they really are amazing! All I had to give was my eye.”
Mirror, the person you had met, seemed pretty open about their struggles. It was strange. You hadn't seen much of this, even in Crossroads. They were telling the truth. You could tell. It was almost a sweet story. Almost. Though you wouldn't speak your mind right now. That felt cruel, in a way.
Mirror seems like a nice person dragged into bad shit. Maybe they didn't realize it was bad, but still. They were trying with what they had and knew.
After debating for a bit, you say you went through something similar, though you prefer not to share details. Two more drinks go down the hatch. It's pretty fun to dance, sing, and eat some junk. The fact that you've been here for hours doesn't cross your mind. 3 drinks wasn't that many, given the alcohol content was pretty low-
Someone grabs the back of your shirt.. What's wrong with people? Picking a fight for no reason!
It's Katana.
What is wrong with this freak? It's just ONE night! What are you even training so hard for? You shove him away, causing him to grunt in pain for a second. There's a sense of pride that swells up for a second. It's promptly snuffed out after getting dragged out of the bar.
“You should not meddle around like a fool! Do you not see this is time for training? What are you doing, conversing with such individuals?”
Does this guy ever say something normal?!
“Why do you talk like that?! I've been training constantly! It's lonely and I wanted to have fun!”
He's being unreasonable. Obviously someone who's been working and training constantly wants one night off! What does this guy not understand?
“Bars are for people who've done their work! You have not reached that point! You shouldn't head out alone anyways! Do you understand how much corruption exists in this world?”
He talks about your hard work like it's banal. Less than that, actually. He acts like it was nothing. That those hours slaving away didn't mean anything about you. It's insulting. The chaos of the situation is about to reach a boiling point.. Every neuron in your body is firing and saying: “get the hell out of here!”
Then, it happens.
“Get your hands off them!”
A rock hits Katana before pathetically landing on the ground; he snaps his head over to look at the person down the street. It's Mirror. NO! SHIT, LEAVE!
“MIRROR! Get out of here! You can't-”
Katana summons his gear. He bolts towards your new friend so quickly they don't have time to move before he slices their head clean off. Blood spurts everywhere, before the body lands on the ground with a thud. It's a horrific sight. A few minutes ago, Mirror was giggling as they talked about their kitty being stupid. Now they were reduced to a slab of meat. The carcass is laid out on the concrete unceremoniously. Katana kicks them onto the street, then into the sewers like they're waste.
“Don't make friends with pests.”
…
“WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” Your arms collide with Katana's chest. He gets shoved to the wall, before being kicked in the neck.. Unfortunately for you, he grabs your leg, flipping you around onto your stomach. The ground is hard and painful. No, no, no! You launch yourself against the other demon, sending him back to the wall. You snap in his direction, and slam your foot into his chest with all the force you could muster.
He sits there for a second. Though it's clear he's going to get up in a few seconds. You quickly realize you have no chance of winning, given this fight has already cost so much energy. So, despite knowing it makes you a coward, you run. You don't want to die, and continuing to fight will certainly lead to that.
Minutes pass by. The neon lights are no longer pretty, but almost overwhelming. Your heart hammers with pure anxiety. This can't be happening.. Now you have to find somewhere else to stay! So stupid! SO FUCKING STUPID!
It's quiet here, strangely enough. You sit down, tears steaming down your face now that you've lost everything again. There's nowhere to go. If only you hadn't gone to that bar.
Everything around you is grey, the remnants of a corroded past. Old posters advertising events that were a decade ago. “New technology” from two decades ago. It's depressing. Though the solitude brings a strange amount of peace as the adrenaline dies down.
There's a sweet sort of numbness that happens after chaos. Sometimes it feels worth it to go through such things just to get it. It's almost like relief. You're not sure if it feels good or bad. It's almost funny how that happens. How can you not know that?
Oh well.
Crickets sing their little songs, and the distant traffic cries in exhaustion. There's a him if you listen closely enough. Maybe it's from machinery? Either way, it's calming. It reminds you of sitting on the roof at night after sneaking out. That was something you used to do with your friend at Korblox. He was like a mentor to you, and honestly inspired you to run away after he did. You were angry, though you started to understand soon after.
You remember the red banners that hung throughout the city. The wall that blocked out most of the outside world. It was a reminder to the citizens: you will always be here, you are workers, you are property. It was supposed to block out any idea of escape. We only know of the outside through books, stories, and the stories from eyes who had experienced the outside through those lense. The administration wanted to block out any dreams. Though, they couldn't block out the sky. They didn't have as much light pollution, due to their astronomy branch. So there were still the stars to look at.
So whenever you wanted to think of a life outside of the pressure and abuse, you'd look to them. The thousands of little dots scattered throughout the sky, each one with their own story. Thousands of different futures, so many different day dreams you could sink into just for a few minutes of respite.
A botanist, an artist, a chef, a farmer. Maybe an electrician. Each opportunity glowed with freedom. Some sort of escape. For a moment, you hadn't wanted to cry from self-loathing and embarrassment. You hadn't felt like a worthless failure, an idiot who only messes up.You felt the cold air against your skin.Though where could you look too now, if you didn't have the stars? Maybe the city?
> Stay (ending 1)
> Leave (ending 2)
>A couple of hours pass by, and at some point a hand grabs your shoulder. It's familiar. You're about to speak up, though can't due to being dragged off of the bench. You assume you'll get killed, but instead he wraps his arms around you. It's a warm hug, that would've been comforting if not stained with blood. The adrenaline is starting to come back.
“I… apologize for scaring you. That was not the intention. I only wanted to protect you from that cultist. You do realize they only intend to manipulate, right?”
You still cared about Katana.. You weren't sure why. He had just killed an innocent in front of you. But you still cared! Why? Did that make you awful? You don't know.
You don't know.
You have nowhere to go either. Katana is your only shot at staying alive. It's him, or the streets. Shoot……
“We should get home. It's late out.”
A part of you is screaming to fight back against the hand leading you back home. 'Don't be a coward! Fight! Fight!’
Though you can't. He's too strong, and there's nowhere else to stay. There's no good options. Only a better one.So you have to go along, back to your new prison. Hoping maybe one day you'll be able to safely leave. Or get an inch of free time…
[ENDING 1, you go back with him]
>The city had many buildings, just like the sky had many stars. And those buildings had stories too. Stories you could touch..You venture out towards the collage of lights and activities. You walk for hours, mind still somewhat drenched in static. You were still out of it. As you're walking, you find a few people dressed quite interestingly. They wore navy blue for the most part, along with some white, gold, or copper accents. You smile, before speaking up.
“You all look amazing!"
They glance over at you. At first they look annoyed, but eventually decide to talk.
“Thank you. Tell me, young one, would you like to join a community where we work towards the stars? A new plane of existence free from all that is evil?”
You pause. This seems like a cult. You probably shouldn't join.
But there'd be people who want to go for the stars like you. There are people who you could be close with.. There's nowhere else to go anyways. Maybe they'd find someone good with technology useful? It's stupid. But sometimes emotions win over logic. What do you have anyways?
These two I actually write similar to one another in their HCs... also they in canon despise each other so this will be fun >:)
V1 is referred to as He/Him in this... only because I forgot while writing this that I call V1 and V2 'It' 💀 So I am sorry about that, I will go back to what I was doing originally in future works.
I'm getting back into Ultrakill! (I'm still buns at the game....)
Alright... this idea makes sense for various reasons.
First of all... these two naturally have animosity towards one another.
This is mostly because V1 in the game has managed to best Gabriel not once... but twice.
So Gabriel at the very least would despise V1.
But there's also how I wrote these two acting towards a human.
First of all, V1.
From what I remember from Ultrakill lore... V1 was created to destroy Earthmovers during the Final War.
I personally HC that V1 would still have a need to protect humans he sees and deems on his side.
So when V1 meets you his obsession is a combination of lingering code... and sentience from all the blood he consumes.
This is because I also like the theory/HC that machines gain sentience from consuming blood as fuel since blood seems to have supernatural properties.
This makes me think by the time V1 comes across you... the sentience and code kicks in after not seeing a human in a long time.
This leads to V1 sticking around this human and dragging them along with him.
It could be so easy to use you for fuel... yet it appears V1 wants something more from this human.
Due to his newfound sentience... the machine years for companionship it seems.
Unsure if the machine's companionship is for better or for worse... but the protection could be nice.
Then there's Gabriel, who I usually use the "guardian angel" idea with.
It makes sense a lone human like you would desperately cling to your faith, it's all you really have when humanity has nearly been eradicated.
Your dedication to survival when your species has done nothing but be a sin and kill one another... is almost impressive to Gabriel.
Now you, alone, ask to repent... you want nothing more than protection...
Gabriel probably finds your will and devotion tempting... and begrudgingly accepts to aid this last human until they eventually fall.
... he unfortunately gets too attached though.
As you can see... I write them both as protective yanderes for very different reasons.
One was created to aid humanity... the other is a holy being who initially pitied you.
So imagine getting both of them attached... only for them to realize that they are "protecting" the same lone human.
You probably could meet Gabriel first before he encountered V1.
It could be like the Gabriel HCs I made... you take refuge in an old church in LIMBO... only for Gabriel to meet you and he is impressed by your devotion.
Humanity really is still stubborn when it comes to survival....
This leads to Gabriel occasionally keeping an eye on you, growing attached as he visits the old church you insist on hiding in.
He keeps the area clear of rogue machines and demons... all for the smaller human he decided to take under his wing.
Love... what a foreign feeling to the angel.
Gabriel primarily feels pride.
He's arrogant, ironic for an angel.
But when The Father is gone... there's no one to keep Heaven in check, is there?
Despite all his arrogance... Gabriel finds himself returning to you as though worried something happened.
He often sits by you, watching you pray even if there's no one to pray too besides him.
Eventually Gabriel learns... affection.
You asked to hug him once and while he did so begrudgingly initially...
He kept fixating on it.
Now whenever he shows up he offers comfort more willingly, holding you in the abandoned church as though comforting a dying pet.
He never wants to let you go... ever.
But he's a busy angel, especially due to taking the role of judging Hell after the LUST rebellion.
So imagine one day Gabriel goes to the church you're normally always in... and sees no one there.
For once... the angel is panicked.
Or maybe it's frustration....
He can't tell... these new human emotions you keep teaching him are... confusing.
Looking around the church he sees scrapped machines and blood from such....
A pang of anxiety hits the angel... but this was his fault, wasn't it?
The time for humans is over... He should have never gotten attached.
In reality you had simply encountered V1.
You weren't dead... simply found by a machine who had originally found purpose in serving humanity.
V1 had been functioning on his own before encountering you by accident.
Upon scanning you... something within him kicked in.
It's dangerous here... so you are to be looked after by the machine.
This leads to you being dragged along by V1 in an effort to survive past your initial fate.
V1 isn't violent towards you, in fact he's only violent towards those around you.
It's as though a certain protocol has activated, causing V1 to sling an arm around you as he traverses through the layers.
I feel like Gabriel thinks you're dead until V1 shows up in the GLUTTONY layer.
He senses the machine... yet he senses something else.
This presence... is not demonic... It's familiar.
But... that can't be...
Well... then the machine enters the fleshy arena, a scourge causing the depopulation of Hell...
With you beside it, a metal arm gripping you tightly.
The sight of you makes the angel hesitate after he is summoned in a golden light.
You haven't fallen... yet the machine has you.
... you aren't safe with that soulless automaton...
You need to be reclaimed.
V1, sensing the shift in atmosphere as the angel stares at you, no doubt tosses you near the entrance of the arena to take care of the threat.
Gabriel... laughs.
The angel is in disbelief.
"Do you really think a machine could protect you more than me? You had me worried sick! I'll show you that this empty shell can't stand a CHANCE against an angel such as me...."
This fight is not just to determine the fate of Hell... but for these HCs it's also to put you back where you belong.
Dragging you through Hell... this machine is only putting you in danger.
So Gabriel will put a stop to it... he was meant to be your guardian first.
... but as we all know... V1 manages to best Gabriel within the GLUTTONY layer.
Which not only wounds his ego... but it made him look weak in front of the human he swore to protect.
Which hurts more than any damn wound the machine could've given him.
Gabriel was meant to be this strong protector to you.
You were meant to be devoted to him.
Yet... this machine...
This machine shot him down like a damn bird in the sky!?
Gabriel ends up having to leave you to reflect.
V1 glances at you, the camera lens he has for a face scanning you for injuries.
When you seem to have none... you continue your journey with the machine.
No choice but to go further.
V1 is more protective when it realizes an angel is after what he is meant to protect.
You see the machine tense oddly enough... yet you try to reassure him you're fine.
Which... feels weird to do towards a machine.
Yet you haven't had a human companion in so long.
V1 seems to slowly learn from you the more blood it consumes.
He pauses the journey when he feels it's safe to, settling beside you to look you over.
When you need sleep... something the machine never needs... he watches over you carefully.
You are weaker than the machine... and the machine makes up for it like some loyal guard dog.
Eventually another encounter with Gabriel occurs in the HERESY layer (?).
The angel is restless within the large red palace he fled to.
This machine... not only did he underestimate it...
It has what he needs.
You, his human... deserve to be kept somewhere safe.
Traversing Hell is for no mortal.
You must be retrieved.
The machine is too dangerous for you.
What happens if the machine runs out of fuel?
You would be next to fuel its rampage, yes?
Gabriel is merely being your savior.
In fact... when the doors to the cathedral he inhabits opens... Gabriel momentarily acts welcoming.
Only to you.
"You... I knew you'd find your way back to me. Are you tired? Hurt? After all this... I will let you rest... but first..."
V1 emerges behind you, lense narrowing as Gabriel summons his blades and the angel's wings flare.
"I WILL SETTLE THIS, ONCE AND FOR ALL, YOU WILL NOT BEST ME AGAIN, MACHINE!"
From here you can take the story how you wish it to go.
If you want closer to canon... then V1 will beat Gabriel within the blood red cathedral... and continue to guide you through Hell.
Gabriel, now reconsidering his options, ends up killing the Council like in game... but his thoughts haven't left you.
Even if V1 wins again, Gabriel will probably still try to retrieve you.
Although... based on what I've seen in the wiki... it's implied that Gabriel may die within Hell after committing the actions he did to the Council.
So if you want angst... maybe Gabriel will plead to the machine to let him hold you as his final hours occur.
It's a small mercy... one V1 begrudgingly allows when you say you're fine with it.
This ending is bittersweet... Gabriel holding you close as the hours pass.
Truthfully the angel thought he'd be watching you die in his arms... alas... the opposite is true.
Gabriel comes to accept this fate though... at least fate allows him a moment beside you before ripping you away from him....
V1 after that remains your sole protector, noting how affected you are after the angel's death.
He never liked the angel... but seeing you conflicted makes the machine pause.
Humans are strange... yet at least the machine won in the end?
Then there's the alternative ending... one where Gabriel kills V1 in his rage, making you freeze like a scared rabbit as blood spills across the floor.
Gabriel seems uncaring... but senses you.
He senses you're scared.
"... Little one... that soulless creature was only ever after your blood... you are food to it."
The angel walks over, armor dyed a dark crimson.
"But I? I've always been the one to protect you... your humanity has always been your weakness... those machines cannot feel."
You struggle weakly when Gabriel pulls you in for a hug, strong arms holding you in place.
"You feel so tired... that machine has been running you ragged... but you are safe now."
You try to protest when Gabriel picks you up, his wings bright and wide behind him.
"... I will take you somewhere more comfortable... the cathedral will do for now... I won’t make the mistake of leaving you alone again."
Gabriel tends to you as though he's a parent with a runaway child... or even a concerned lover if you go the romantic route.
You are settled against him to rest, even if you're still processing V1's... death.
Gabriel on the other hand... he just feels he did what needed to be done.
No other will touch what's his now...
Not when he's here to guard you just as he was meant to back in LIMBO.
I got the idea for this out of nowhere yesterday and I really couldn't decide if I wanted to write it for Dirk or Jake. As such, you all might get a Jake version with the same overarching plot in the future because he would handle the situation differently enough that it wouldn't just be a reskin of this piece.
TW: Implied attempted sexual assault(not by dirk. If you skip the paragraph after the second "did he hurt you?" line, it can be read as a robbery), graphic depiction of violence, murder, nonconsensual touch(nonsexual).

Yandere Dirk Strider x Reader Oneshot: Alley
You spend no more than a minute trying to fight off your assailant before an arm gets wrapped around his neck from behind. You hear the wet sound of something puncturing his abdomen before he gets dragged off of you.
As soon as there's enough space between you and the two attackers, you take off for the mouth of the alleyway. Dirk's knife gets pointed at you briefly, but he's far enough away that it wouldn't feel like a threat if it weren't for how stressed you are already. His voice comes out tight when he speaks.
"Don't fucking run."
He watches as you cower against the wall instead, staring at you for a moment too long before turning his attention back to your previous assailant. You sink to the ground and curl your knees up to your chest. It feels like hours are passing as Dirk stays hunched over him. You can't bring yourself to think about what's happening, and the fleshy sounds get tuned out from the stress. You don't fully recognize when Dirk comes back over to you and crouches in front of your face.
"Did he hurt you?"
You don't register what he said. You're too busy staring past him. The man is loosely curled up on the ground. Even in the dim light, you can see how much paler he is now, how much the puddle of blood under him is spreading.
Dirk waves his hand in front of your eyes a couple of times, then tries snapping at you until your eyes focus back in on him.
"Did he hurt you?"
You hesitate a bit longer before weakly shaking your head. It must not have been a convincing response, because Dirk starts checking you over more seriously, pulling at your neckline and tugging up your sleeves to see more of your skin. You start trying to get away more frantically when he reaches for your hips, but he just buckles your belt for you and threads the excess leather through your belt loops.
He stays too close for comfort, staring at you with an expression that you can't neatly pin down to any emotion. You really don't think this interception is any better. You try to shift back more, but you're as close to the wall as you can get.
Luckily, Dirk takes the hint and stands up to give you a little more space. He wanders a few steps closer to the body, like he's making sure it's dead. You're so distraught that you can't even feel sick to your stomach, just numb.
He gives you a few minutes before he comes back over. He offers you his hand, but you stay down on the ground.
"I'm going to walk you home."
You shake your head; it's all you can do. Dirk gives you another minute before he holds his hand out more insistently. You still don't take it, so he instead pulls you up carefully by your upper arms. He brushes off your clothes for you before resting his hand on your back and walking you out of the alleyway.
You follow along in somewhat of a stupor for a block before the worst of the stress fades enough for you to start processing where you are. At this hour, all of the stores around you are closed. You would make a break for it if he didn't have that knife. You really can't tell if he's following you or trying to guide you. He seems set on his route, but keeps glancing at you like he's trying to read something off of you.
At one intersection, you attempt to lead him away from your home. He stops and gives you a flat look for just long enough to make it settle in that he knows you're going the wrong way. He lets you go that way regardless, but his hand never leaves your back as he follows you.
It takes you a few blocks of walking with him to come up with a plan. You only vaguely know where the nearest police station is, but it is in walking distance.
If you can just make it to the parking lot, you can dart out of his grip and maybe make it through the doors before he catches you. You probably won't even have to run fast; he would have to be an idiot to stab you in the parking lot of the station.
It only takes a few more blocks of walking with him for Dirk to catch on to your plan. You haven't even seen the first sign pointing towards the police station before Dirk plants his feet as you try to make a turn. His hand snakes further around your waist, making sure you can't go that way regardless.
"We're not going that way. Pick another direction."
You apologize almost instinctively. You really don't want to get on his bad side. You really don't want to keep walking. You know he'll stay with you until you get home.
"You don't have to apologize for that."
He looks at you with something softer in his eyes, and that's more terrifying than the flat look he gave you when you first led him astray. The two of you stand on that corner for a couple of minutes before Dirk starts gently guiding you back home.
Once you start moving again, he doesn't control the route you take again. You know better than to try to go to the police station again. You wind through all of the roads around until you aren't even entirely sure how far away from home you are.
You're killing time, frankly. Keeping the situation in this state of limbo feels safer than walking home. Dirk doesn't look like he minds, though. Even when your feet start getting sore from walking for hours, Dirk doesn't seem affected by the time and distance covered.
You can see how much more closely he's watching you now. He waits until you're undeniably exhausted before he starts corralling you in again. Even when you try to keep walking in the wrong direction, he just guides you the right way.
You knew this was coming. You knew you wouldn't be able to make him give up just by walking for a few hours when you only originally needed to go a few blocks. That knowledge doesn't make it any easier.
Eventually, the two of you make it. You freeze up outside of your apartment building. You're terrified that he'll follow you inside once you get the exterior door open. The office is already closed, and it would be a miracle if you ran into another resident at this hour.
"It was nice to walk with you."
You nod weakly and train your vision on the brick wall next to him, where you can keep an eye on him without having to really look at him. Out of the corner of your eye, you can see his gaze flick between you and the fob reader next to the door.
"Do you want me to walk you to your door?"
His tone is a little different; he emphasizes the word 'want' more heavily than you feel comfortable with. It feels less like he's trying to be reassuring, more like he's being sarcastic, but that might just be fear distorting it. You don't want to risk telling him no, but you can't bring yourself to say yes either. You keep staring silently at the wall.
You hear him sigh lightly, and that's enough for you to look back at him. He wrangles you into his arms in something that would look like a hug if you weren't tense enough that your muscles started aching. His palm drags down your back hard enough that you can't focus on anything but that and your own fear.
When Dirk pulls away, he has your key ring in his hand. He didn't even need to ask which pocket you keep them in. He taps your fob against the reader and pulls the door open for you, gesturing for you to go inside. Scared, you listen. You can't figure out if cowering in the corner or trying to run into the building as fast as you can would be a smarter idea.
"Hey."
You look back, and he jingles your keys at you. He hasn't taken even a single step into the atrium. You stand still, even as he shakes your keys at you again. When he sees that you won't take the hint to hold out your hand, he tosses the keys so they'll land just a few inches from your feet. He wouldn't want to throw them at you and have you mistake it as a sign of aggression.
"Do you need anything else?"
You hesitantly shake your head, and Dirk lets go of the door. You watch him watch you through the door until it latches. You only bend down to pick up your keys when he turns to leave, and you only hurry to your apartment unit when he gets out of sight.
Warning: Death, mentions of violence. Reader is GN.
Bruce, in all his flaws, never thought he would pass through the feeling of losing another of his children. So why? Why was your body in that alley? Why are your blood painting the walls red? Both his knees gave in, hitting the ground with force and despite the foreigner sensation, the only thing he could do was reach for your body.
Y/N Wayne for all their life, be it in action or in appearance, resembled Bruce too much. To the point, Bruce couldn't help but drive himself away from his firstborn. The child was everything he hated about himself. But now, as he cradled the child's body in his arms, nothing could get through his mind, except the way he treated you along the years.
Was he even worthy of holding your body like that?
From all of his children, Dick and you would be the ones most competent, so he paid no mind when you were not assigned a partner, he knew you were used to going on solo missions. But it was when your pained scream through the comms that Bruce knew he shouldn't have brushed aside your lack of company. Your ragged breath made a shiver run down Bruce's spine, your siblings voices soon filling the device but you didn't respond.
It wasn't until Barbara's voice came through ‘They are going to kill them, B’ that his legs finally moved, he was the closest to your location and yet when he got there, it was already too late. Your blood was still warm when Bruce hugged your body close, but your heart was no longer beating, the silence of it making Bruce's head dizzy.
It didn't take much time for the rest of his children to gather around the scene, with each of them digesting the image in front of them in different ways. Tim was the one who took it the worst.
“No, I calculated everything, that was not supposed to happen. They are fine right, B? Please, tell me they are fine.”
Being the one to make the plan, he couldn't help but think that it was because of him that your body laid lifeless on his fathers arms. Dick hugged Tim trying to comfort him, but his tears just made the younger one panic even more. Shoving his older brother's body out of the way, Tim started to vomit, his limbs trembling in fear and guilt.
Bringing his fingers to close your eyes, Bruce finally moved. Standing up with your body, the man hid the sight of you from his other children by pulling his cape over you, he didn't want to show your condition to them. Bruce's face was covered by his own tears, the feeling of your body now turning cold was like a whiplash to his consciousness.
And just like that, Bruce lost you for the first time. He didn't know what was coming for him.
The pain of losing a child is one of the rare things people can overcome. Grief doesn't go away, you just learn how to manage your life around it and because of that Bruce still occasionally had some flashes of it through his mind.
The image of your body in his arms. The sensation of the blood running through his fingers. The stillness of your eyes, as he closed your eyelids.
But that… It must be some kind of sick joke, otherwise why was he seeing you sitting at the table, eating breakfast as if nothing happened. Your eyes looked at him in confusion of the way Bruce was standing looking at them, but Bruce could only notice the way your eyes were full of life. His legs moved with urgency, reaching for you and embracing your body against his, face tucked between his shoulder and the crook of his neck.
“Bruce…? Did you have a nightmare?”- Their voice came cautious, not used to the man displaying any physical affection to them.
‘Bruce, not father’
Despite calling him by his name, Bruce felt relieved. After your death, he longed so much to hear your voice, the last bits of it being the pained scream that haunted his mind every so often.
“Yes, baby. It was a nightmare.”- He said, still holding your body.
Looking at him wide eyed, still confused, you gave a few pats on the man's back before trying to get out of his hold, which failed as he kept hugging you. Soon enough, your sibling started to fill the room, each of them having the same reaction as your father.
“Why are you guys acting like that?”- You said, you were confused, after being hugged in one morning more times than the last ten years.
‘They don't remember.’ Was their first thought at their sibling demeanour, being completely oblivious of what had happened. And despite seeing how uncomfortable you were, none of them could bring themselves to stop.
Outside, out of the detective's sight, a funnel of purplish clouds was forming. Thunder and lightning occasionally strike between them with loud noise. It was the premise of unfortunate times.
You feel your body tingle, shivers run down your body and as if hypnotized, you shift your attention from your family to the window beside you. Following your gaze, Bruce set his sight at the sky, his hands unconsciously grabbing you and bringing you close to his body. He tried calling you, but you didn't answer. Just like last time, you didn't answer their calls either.
It was only when he held your chin and shifted your head back to him, that you stopped looking at the window.
“Are you okay?”- He asked, brows furrowed in worry.
You didn't answer with words, only nodded your head. Your mind felt numb, something scraping your guts. You don't belong here, something said in your mind and you looked again to the ominous looking clouds. Bruce felt his heart accelerate beyond measure as he noticed your eyes hollowing it each time it set its sight in the sky.
The same eyes he closed carefully.
His chest aches as his breath fails to reach his lungs properly.
It was in that instant that Bruce knew he would lose you again.
WRONG SIDE OF THE CROSSWORLD. ┆ Chapter 1: stumbling nowhere
the circumstances you found yourself in is not funny in the slightest, stumbling yourself into an unknown city filled with... demon creatures? with colourful horns were not in your bingo list of the year.

How did you get here?
One moment you just finished your last year college project and decided to go out for a walk for some fresh air and... what were you doing before ending up here?
No, you're not dreaming, you believe so. If countlessly slapping yourself on the face and pinch your skin as hard as you could be any indicator, you do register the pain.
Perhaps it's not enough, because you're seeing people littered the street adorned with colourful horns in different shapes and sizes — they're not human that for sure, their physical appearance is way bigger than average human's build and their skin color range from paper white to inky black. in the contrary they look like those children's drawings of how they would portray a demon character.
You stumbled backwards as you see one of them walk towards the alleway you're in, hurriedly you hide near nearby dumpster, hoping it'll not see you by any means.
There's sound of footsteps and shuffling of plastic before a metal panel being opened and then shut closed, what you could assume they're throwing away their trash, you can't help but groan at the awful smell for a while but decided it best to keep it quiet until they leave, you take a little peek behind your hiding place and watch as the figure leaves and start walking down the street and their figure disappear.
"Okay..." You need to consider your current predicament.
One, you're not dreaming. That you had confirmed, and you try to slit yourself a tiny bit with supposed nearby broken glass again for extra measurements, watching the trickling of red liquid travel across your palm from the small cut, you're still here and you feel the pain, you're very much wide awake.
You rubbed your bleeding hand lightly to your clothes, lightly winced of the familiar sting from the open wound, thankfully it'll probably need couple of hours to heal or a day since you only did a small cut on your open palm.
Two, there's these demon-like creatures roaming around the street, you can't understand any words they utter no matter how hard you try to understand them; it's all sounds gibberish in your ears.
Three…, your stomach suddenly grumbles embarrassingly, you can't help but wince at the horrid noises it made, you have forgotten to eat again when you were so focused on doing your project before, you hadn't properly taken care of yourself and body in general. Now you're in a very unknown place, filled with humanoid-like creatures as its civilians, and a very hungry stomach and desire to at least put something in your mouth to chew and swallow.
There are not many options to get foods around here as it looks like you're in a city area with lack of greenery or forest, you could try rummaging through the trash maybe… No, too dirty and there's a big possibility of sudden sickness, that and the fact you have no access to medical treatment in this unknown place if you do get sick, you're just planning your early demise doing so.
"......?"
The familiar gibberish noises makes your heart drop to the pit of your stomach, your head whipped around to the owner of the voice and given the sudden desire to jump, two of those horned creatures staring directly at you figure, one using an attire resembling a warrior with red horns, while their friend has fancy robotics limb and blue visor in the same color of their twin horns. Large black pupils staring at your smaller figure almost intensely.
Hey, there's this thing about possible alien abduction since you're pretty much very alien to them with the way they're staring at you. You could be captured, strapped to the calibration table, and dissected by curious scientists who want to study your anatomy or even worse possibly being kept as a cute little pet and stripped away from your autonomy.
You should run right? You definitely should run; you're cornered to the wall but there's an opening nearby and an empty looking street ahead. You should run, now. Your body should move or this will be the end of your life.
The two demon-like creatures finally break eye contact from you and talk to one another, glancing towards you once a while, possibly talking about their next action. One of them sighed and the other smiled, the red horned one, returns their attention to you and you can't help but flinch.
You should run. Why are you not moving. Your heart hammer loudly in your chest, static noises slowly filling your ears in internal panic.
The red horned demon's feet make noises with the aluminium can under their boots, and you immediately bolted, leaving them both in surprise as one of them seems to try and call for you.
Your body filled with fear and adrenaline as you run towards the opening street, the creatures slowly filling the once empty street and you couldn't be careless about bumping to any of them, ignoring the gasps and yelps from the strangers as couple of them got a clear look at you.
You need to run and find somewhere to hide.
End Notes:
Oh man, I didn't expect to finish this in one day??? But I'm glad I did because that mean I have more time to refine the story later, this first chapter literally "fuck it we ball" without proper planning.
I hope you guys like the introduction! if enough people show interest, I may continue the story :]
CW: Violence, Cultists, inphernals being inphernals. Child reader.
I had to make some inphernal ocs to make it feel more alive. Enjoy.
It had been a few months since your failed induction and your power had grown steadily. Father had you practice using your Lua for different tasks, such as healing or summoning more of your offensive capabilities. You were dressed up in new ceremonial robes. Your hair was brushed and you were given a headdress to match your robes. A headdress that had your crystals embedded into it. You were cleaned and pampered until you were perfect. You didn't know why. You had accidentally hurt your brothers and sisters, why did the father have them dress you up so ornately? After you were prepared, you were led to the auditorium where the Father had called in a new sermon. As soon as you entered, you noticed the room was a lot more full. All of the seats had an inphernal. There were those also standing and leaning against the walls and pillars. You were about to sit on a seat before your escort nudged you to keep walking. The father beckoned you up to the stage alongside him. You were picked up and set onto the stage alongside Father.
He motioned to you, "Her name is reavealed. Lualight, our newspawn God."
Ripples of murmuring ran through the auditorium. It was a mixed reception of you and your identity. Father tapped his cane on the stage.
"As difficult as it can to believe it, our little sister has been revealed as a new god. Her outburst during her induction was proof enough for me.," Father said.
You heard the familiar boot taps of your own mama walking up to the stage. She had a look of confidence in her face. Father must have called her to support you.
She gave you a supportive smile and raised her gear up. Some of the naysayers stood down after seeing support from Scythe.
Father looked to the audinance, "Will you accept our Lualight?"
Cheers ripped through the crowd. Your new name was chanted as you were lifted to be seen by all of the members. It was strange to have been found as a child and now elevated to being a god. After being introduced to the congregation, you had to meet and greet the members of the church. You had questions about you, mostly about where your horns were. Chatter and murmurs were heard when you answered that you were born without them.
The crowd met you with gentle wonder and tender touching of your head. Medkit himself came up to you to greet you.
"You finally have a name I can call you instead of kid.," He said, "It's sort of cute and fits you."
"I don't really understand what it means.," You replied to him, "But I will try to use my power to help as much as possible."
He knelt down to your height and placed a hand on your head, "I know you will."
His small smile was encouraging to you. You appreciated his support.
The Father still let you be under Scythe's care, Yet he started to train you in being a god and secondary leader of the church. He had you practice sermons and writing some for you to practice while you also were given other duties. Duties that included healing alongside Medkit. Your new duties were a bit hard to learn, but you learned quick. You could tell that not all the members were warm to you. But, none acted on their dislike of you. You did notice that some members had vanished, as if they never existed.
You still found time to spend with your mama between both your schedules. You felt safe in the church, but felt safest when being held by your mama. Her hand running through your hair and her soft humming were enough to settle you down. After you finished your duties, you liked to nap on your mama as she relaxed. She could be talking to Broker while you dozed on her chest. Broker was very friendly towards you while you rested. He would ask you questions and tell you stories about inphernals he was watching. You liked hearing about a friend of his, an inphernal named 'Zuka'. Something about the retired soldier turned single father was charming.
One night you woke from a dream. It was a dream of being talked to by a large dark figure. You knew his name, Darkheart. But, something else bothered you. The other people in your dream made you feel sad. You finally remembered. Those were your birth parents. Your parents that disappeared. Using a light from a crystal, you wandered the church in the early morning. Your small feet walked to your mama's room. She was still resting in her own bed when you found her. She was fast asleep. You placed down the crystal and climbed up onto the mattress before squeezing yourself into her arms.
Tears fell from your eyes as you nuzzled to your mama's chest. You felt a bit of fear and sorrow from remembering that you lost your parents. You knew that they wouldn't abandon you. They had to have been killed by something or someone. But that creepy other figure, Darkheart. You could still feel like he was watching you, even when he was not there.
Scythe found you squeezed against her in the morning. She figured you had a bad dream and wanted some comfort. You were a god, but you were a child first, so she did not blame you. She held you and nuzzled into your scalp before getting up and putting her uniform on. Scythe heard your little yawn and gave you a warm smile.
"Mornin, Darlin'.," She greeted, "Did ya have a bad dream?"
You nodded and rubbed your eyes, "Sorry mama."
"Don't apologize, Lua.," She replied, "Scary dreams happen sometimes, But mama won't let those scary dreams hurt you."
Scythe placed her hand on your hair and rubbed your hornless head. She gave you a kiss on your forehead.
"Go get ready. The father wants you to try doing a section of the sermon today.," She told you.
You dragged yourself back to your room and got ready while looking over the notes that the Father left for you to look over. He wanted you to talk about about the hornless in the manuscripts that you helped translate, especially since you are the last of these hornless gods.
You brushed out your hair and cleaned your face. You slipped into your ceremonial robes and tied a little bow onto your collar. You put on your headdress and took one of your crystals with you before leaving for the auditorium. There was a line going to the auditorium, your brothers and sisters of the church were chatting happily. They saw you and you were given a warm greeting from them. You returned the greetings and had to deny some of them the ability to pet you on your head.
You walked to your seat in the room, sitting between your mama and Broker. The stitch covered inphernal gave you a friendly greeting and patted your head lightly. Chatter stopped as soon as the father entered and stood on the stage. He greeted the congregation and started to speak his lessons. You listened with intent to his teachings. He finally called you up to give a small sermon based on your findings of the manuscripts. You remembered your public speaking training and used his guidance to give your first sermon. You could hear some of your brothers and sisters snicker when you stuttered, but you had support from all of them. When you finished, the auditorium gave you applause.
Father approached you after the sermon was over. He knelt and patted your head with affection.
"You did well, Lualight.," he praised.
His words got him a smile from you. Praise from Father was always nice. You were allowed to roam around the church after as a free day. Other members gave you friendly hellos and petting on your head or back. You liked how friendly everything was in the church. It was much better than starving in the desert and almost being killed by animals. You continued to walk and visit your sisters and brothers of the church, seeing how they are and helping as you could. You stopped to listen to one who had something from the outside world. She and another had boxes stacked on a table. A sweet smell came from the boxes. The smell enticed you closer.
The inphernal, who you knew as Crossbow, saw you and waved.
"Lualight! Good job on your first time speaking this morning.," She smiled.
You gave a small bow, "Thanks, Cross. What's in the boxes?"
She motioned to the boxes and picked out a small cake. Her scarred hand gave it to you as her blue glass eye sparkled.
"Chainsaw and I went shopping in Crossroads.," She replied, "Decided to get some sweets to celebrate."
You tilted your head. What was she celebrating? Was it her and her twin's spawnday?
Chainsaw laughed, throwing back his head with a belly laugh.
"Did you forget that today is the first anniversary of us finding you?," he asked, winking his good eye.
So it had been a year already. You had lost track of time since they were keeping you inside. Your own spawnday must have passed already. The twins crouched to your height.
"Have any plans?," Crossbow asked.
Chainsaw chimed in, "Is there something you wanted?"
You thought a bit before answering.
"I want to visit Crossroads, too.," you said.
Your reply caught both of them off guard. They looked at each other and then tilted their heads as they looked at you, touching their horns together.
"You... wanna go to Crossroads?," they echoed in unison.
You nodded while fiddling with the paper on the bottom of the cake.
"I have been hearing a lot about the outside world from the others and I want to see it myself.," you explained with some hesitation, "I've only seen the desert. But I have heard about other places from Broker and... I want to see them too."
Crossbow looked a little worried as Chainsaw lifted your head from looking at the floor gently.
"The outside world is not safe.," Chainsaw said, "You were almost dead when I first saw you."
"I don't know if Father would even let you go out.," Crossbow added.
She ran her fingers over the cracked stump of her lost horn. It still had to be painful for her, yet she never let you heal it.
"You can ask the Father.," Chainsaw said, "But I think it would be better to also ask if you can go with an escort of you really want to go."
Crossbow smiled a little, "Well, toy are a child. You were bound to be curious."
You were left with the small cake they gave you after they stood to take the food to the dining hall.
You decided to find your mom and talk to her about what you wanted. You found her with the animals. She was brushing the feathers of her vulture. You sat on a nearby surface as you watched her.
"Howdy darling.," she greeted once she saw you, "Crossbow gave you a cupcake I see."
"She did, mama.," you replied, "She and Chainsaw also asked what I wanted."
Scythe put down the brush and came to sit by you. The much older inphernal smiled at you with such love in her expression.
"What did you tell them?," she inquired.
"I want to go to Crossroads," you answered.
Scythe's smile left her face. She was not mad. She looked a bit worried. Her hand touched your cheek.
"Lua, I don't know how safe it would be if you went. There are a lot of dangerous 'phernals in the inpherno."
"What if someone came with me?," You asked, "Like you, Crossbow, or even Medkit!"
Your mama was still worried looking. She was always concerned about your safety and well being since she adopted you. You felt her hand on your hair after a bit and she picked you up into her lap.
"Have I e'er told you about the warden that has been tryin' to arrest Broker 'nd myself?," She asked you.
You shook your head. You were interested in this Inphernal. Your mother chuckled. She began to tell you stories about the warden. How he was a massive, muscular brute that weilded a hammer. How he was persistant in his pursuit of criminals and other beings who he deemed to be annoying or lawbreakers. She even told you about the silly nicknames she and Broker called him. 'Banny' being one of the favorites. You were so immersed in her stories and watching her move as she told them, that you didn't notice Broker sneaking up behind you.
"He's tried and failed to cage me multiple times.," Broker said right behind your head, making you jump in surprise, "Hee hee~ Sorry Lualight, But it was too fun to resist."
You pouted a bit as he picked you up. Broker had his usual friendly smile on his face.
"I heard that you wanted to visit Crossroads, Lualight.," Broker chimed, "Did my stories of visiting inspire your curiousity?"
You nodded with a small pout, "I want to see these places you talk about."
He held you up against his chest, letting his head rest atop yours as your mama watched both of you. She was making sure Broker did not accidentally hurt you.
"You could always ask the Father.," Broker said while carrying you to the animal pen.
You patted the head of your mother's vulture. The large bird made a cooing sound as it leaned into your hand, used to your petting.
"Chainsaw said I could ask to have an escort to go there.," You said, "Would that be enough to let Father allow me to go?"
"Maybe, maybe not.," Broker replied, "The Father does want to keep you safe, as do the rest of us. You are one, If not the most important person in the church."
His face nuzzled the top of your head lightly. Scythe went back to grooming the animals in the pen. Broker carried you back inside. The two of you got friendly greetings from the different members of the church. You jumped in Broker's arms when you heard screaming.
"Bah! Another unruly guest.," The scarred inphernal holding you said and looked down at you, "Don't you worry about that. Our brothers and sisters can take care of them."
You nodded and held up the cupcake in your hands, "Want a piece?"
Broker made a silly expression towards you and took a bite of the cake, leaving only half. You knew he could not taste, but still offered it to him. It was nice to share as mama told you. You ate the rest of it while being carried by your mama's silly friend.
After dinner, you wandered around more. You heard your brothers and sisters talking about looking for someone. You wondered what that was about. Was someone lost? Tiny feet kept carrying you as you wandered. The memory of that horrific sound was still in your mind. It would not leave your head. You felt frightened by the sound. You heard the unmistakable sound of one of your church sibling's gears being used.
"FOUND YOU, BASTARD!"
There was something terrifying about hearing the amount of rage in their voice. You felt fearful, but drawn to the noise at the same time. You peeked around the corner and saw your mama talking to the church sibling with the loud weapon gear. She seemed to be scolding them about something. You looked down when you smelled something with a biting metallic smell. Blood was pooling and it was starting to reach your feet.
You gasped quietly and stepped back. Your eyes followed the blood to the source. A body. It was mangled from extreme damage being done to it. You felt like crying and throwing up at the same time. The body did not wear the same color scheme as you, nor the same dress code. They seemed to have more wild clothes, more akin to what your mama wore, but red and earth tones. You found yourself feeling sorry for the poor soul and reached your tiny hand out to the corpse.
As soon as your fingers brushed over the hand of the corpse, It grabbed your wrist tightly. You could feel the energy of your power, your lua pouring into the corpse. The wounds mended by themselves and the horns regrew. You screamed as the body moved. The formerly dead body got up by itself and the inphernal snarled, showing the fanged teeth. Your mama reacted immeditely. With a flourish, she sliced the hand of the inphernal right off, making them drop you. She caught you before you fell to the ground and held you close to her chest.
"Keep your damn hands off my daughter.," She hissed at the inphernal.
"Scythe..," The other inphernal gasped in both pain and rage, "You bit-"
Scythe severed the inphernal's head from their neck in an instant while holding you.
You were on the edge of tears and clinging to your mama. She relaxed and despawned her gear, using her newly free hand to hold you closer to her.
"Lualight, are you okay, darlin'?," She asked and looked at your wrist, "Oh you're getting a bruise."
Your eyes were filled with tears as you started to cry from how scared you were. Your mama held you and let you cry into her. She told the others to clean the mess as she took you to a safer area. Scythe took you to the Father after she cleaned the blood off of you. The Father was in his office. He took you from your mama and sat back in his chair. His fingers wiped away the tears escaping your eyes.
"Oh dear Lualight, You see why I am hesitant to let you go out into the inpherno?," He asked, "You barely survived both times."
So he knew about your wish to go out. The twins must have told him. You sniffled and clung to him for a sense of safety. His hand ran over your hair.
"You are not injured are you?," He asked.
You showed him your wrist, which was starting to turn a purplish color. The Father let you down after looking at your bruising. He sent you to bed as it was getting late and you were still growing, But he made your mama stay behind to talk.
"So what happened?," He asked.
"The bastard was dead, then they got back up.," Scythe answered.
The father grimaced, "Was it one of them?"
"No. They were fully conscious. Even saying my name when they got up.," Scythe replied, "I think it was Lualight. The wounds had her crystals in them as they healed."
"That power is greater than what those false seven can do.," Father mused, "What great fortune for us to find her when we did. It's a shame her parents had to die."
Scythe's fingers twitched. She saw it all. How your father fought to protect you and your mother from the church's scouts. How you hid behind your mother. And how they died. It kind of hurt now that she had fallen so in love with you and being your mother.
The father waved his hand, "Return to your daughter. She needs you right now."
Word spread through the church about your increased power. As did the rumors about your want to go to other places. You noticed you were being watched more as you wandered the church and did your duties. When you asked, your brothers and sisters told you it was because they were worried about you getting attacked again. The fellow that was killed was apparently from another faction. They were there to do something mean from what the others told you. You didn't understand why someone would want to hurt your family, all of you were so nice and wanted to help others.
You kept helping around the church and giving small sermons after Father was done with his turn. He even had a small stool made for you to stand on to reach the poduim. The party to celebrate you was fun as well, with you giving out some of your crystals to church members that have helped you before or have found some favor with you. The crystals were made into small necklaces or brooches for them to wear with their uniforms.
Father called you to the animal pens one day with Broker beside him.
"I have finally decided that I will let you go to Crossroads, But You need to have an escort team.," He explained, "As you saw a few weeks ago, our neighbors are dangerous. They are unruly and barbaric."
You remembered. Your bruises had healed, but the viciousness of the being that you accidentally revived never left your mind. Father patted your head to bring you back to the present and turned you around to see some of the vultures from the pens were getting their tack put on them. Chainsaw and Crossbow were placing saddle bags onto the saddles. The twins smiled at you and waved.
"The twins volunteered for this job. I would have let your 'mama' join you, but she is a bit busy right now.," Father said, "You two. I want you to protect her during this trip and to bring back more supplies."
"Yes Father!," the twins chimed back.
Father turned to another member who was going with you and gave them orders as well. The inphernal, You think was named Crowbar, gave a silent salute and jumped onto the back of their bird. You felt yourself being picked up as Chainsaw put you on his bird.
"If you start feeling sick, tell me.," He smiled.
The birds were loaded up and the group took off. Broker and Father waved as you and the others took to the skies. You were scared at first and clung to the bird with your eyes closed shut. However, Chainsaw tapped your back and told you to look. You followed his directions and looked. Before you was a beautiful scene of the expanse of desert with the blue sky above your head.
A small gasp escaped you.
"Pretty, right?," Chainsaw asked, "This is why Cross and I like going on supply runs. We get to see wonderful sights like these."
You nodded as the wind rushed through your hair. It was so beautiful. You leaned back against Chainsaw's chest and belly, getting comfortable to enjoy the trip. The group enjoyed almost an hour of flying together. In the distance was the shape of other birds flying. The group did not mind them much. That was until they turned to head right for you. Along with a Gear flying right by your heads.
"Ambush!," Crossbow shouted and summoned her gear, "Saw, Get Lualight to safety!"
"What about you, Cross?!," you asked.
"You're the priority, go!," she yelled back, "I'll be fine!"
Chainsaw turned his bird away as his sister and the other guard engaged the ambush in battle. He tried to fly you and he to safety as fast as possible. You prayed that they would be safe and that if they were hurt, that they would heal quickly.
What seemed like a Grappling Hook whizzed by your heads. Chainsaw looked back and saw an inphernal and their vulture dive bombing his. The attack knocked the bird out of the sky. Chainsaw used his own body to cushion you as you two hit the ground. The air was knocked out of him.
"Now then, what's this?," an unfamiliar voice caught your ears.
It was the Inphernal that knocked you off the bird. They walked up and summoned their gear. Chainsaw forced himself to catch his breath.
"Hn? A newspawn?," the attacker said in an inquiring tone, "That's unfortunate."
Chainsaw summoned his gear and slashed it at the attacker. He turned to you.
"Run Lua!," He yelled, "Just get somewhere safe!"
You did as he ordered and ran. Right into the nearby flaming ruins. The other ambush party members stopped chasing you as ran into the flame. The fires did not seem to even lick you.
"Damn kid is suicidal!," one of the members yelled.
Another chimed in, "Lets find them later, we have business to attend to at the moment."
You continued to run to the ruins, keeping out of sight and trying to block out the sounds of fighting. You felt that these ruins were familiar. You were here before. You followed a path to a larger building that was unscathed. Inside were makeshift beds. Beds that you and your parents slept on. You remembered. You were left behind by your parents. You knew that they had to have died in this place. You started to sniffle and then cry.
You sat on one of the beds and cried. Cried from fear, from stress, from sorrow, from pain. You could not help but to cry. After a bit of time, you stopped crying. The sounds outside had stopped as well. There were no more sounds of birds nor fighting. Only the crackling roar of the fire. Something else came with the silence. A feeling of not being alone.
You looked to see a dark figure in front of you, grinning down at you with bright green teeth. You were a little scared, but you also knew this man. The ever familiar grin and the wizard hat. He pressed a hand against your face.
"It's been a while, little one.," He chuckled, "We wondered where you went. If we knew you needed help, we would have taken you to safety."
You wiped your tears and whimpered, "Darkheart.."
The large being tilted his head. He looked to be thinking. The tall being did not flinch when you suddenly hugged him. He took a moment before placing a clawed hand on your head.
"It was so noisy outside for a bit there.," He said, "And we don't think it is clear yet... We can take you somewhere safer."
You looked up at him, you were torn on what to say before he just stood up.
"That actually sounds like a better idea.," He snickered, "Plus it will be more fun."
He reached out his arm as it started to glow and gripped the handle of the door beside you. The door turned black. He opened it to a dark area and walked right in. The corridor it led to was filled with many more doors. Your small hands gripped onto him as he walked through the door filled hallway. He was humming the whole time.
"Here we are.," He finally said and stopped while looking up.
You wondered what he meant before he started to float into the air and towards a door high above you. He reached out and opened it, leading to an alleyway. The area was much different than where you had been. It was much cooler and there was noise from cars and other living beings.
Darkheart set you down, "This is a safe area. Much better than being near the flames of our dear brother."
Your little eyes looked around at the alleyway. It had graffiti in it of other horned creatures of different shapes and colors. Darkheart nudged you to move, leading you somewhere before you heard a noise.
It was two horned creatures arguing. You looked back to Darkheart to see he had vanished.
With a bit of fear, you started to wander the alleys before finding your way to the main streets and roads. You found yourself getting excited and full of wonder. There were so many other people around! You saw inphernals walked around, talking and shopping. There were so many sights and smells that it started to overwhelm little you. But you needed to deal with the gnawing hunger in your belly first.
You caught a smell and began to follow it. You were lead to a restaurant that had a lot of food in it. The name was not important to you as you were hungry. You walked in and sat at an empty booth before looked at the menu. You checked how much money you had in the little bag that you had with you, the allowance that Mama and The Father gave you for your work. You were happy to see you had more than enough to get a small meal.
An inphernal who looked like they worked there walked up to you smiling, then looked puzzled. The inphernal looked around before turning back to you.
"Where is your caretaker?," The waiter asked.
You did not see any reason to lie, "Mama is busy working."
The waiter rubbed his long green horns and sighed, he looked at you and. Seemed drawn to your head. Oh right. You didn't have horns. You were glad that The Father had given you a veil like hat to wear. But he also was looking at that you had some injuries and dirt on you.
"Hey, are you okay? Newspawn like you shouldn't be alone.," he asked you, "Did something happen?"
You nodded, "I got separated from my group when we were attacked while coming here."
The waiter looked a bit worried when you said that. But he kept a smile.
"Okay. My name is Shuriken, and I will be your waiter.," He introduced himself, "Please ask for help if you need anything."
You told him what you wanted and he took the order. You watched him go back to the staff area, but not before stopping by a much larger Inphernal with pink horns and telling that one something. The pink one gave you a quick glance before snapping her head back to look at you again. She seemed to give you a look of pity before returning to work. You sat in the booth and watched the crowds outside pass by. You had your head resting in your palm as you leaned against the window. Until, you saw a familiar pair of horns. Teal stood out against the colors in the street. But with the teal was a splash of red.
You watched as Medkit walked by with another inphernal, one in a gladiator like helmet. You wondered how the two knew each other. He walked right by the window and gave you a quick glance. Then he walked back to look again. By this time your meal was already served to you. You were nibbling when Medkit almost ran into the restaurant and look right at you. The red horned inphernal was right behind him and looking confused.
"What are you doing here?," He asked you, "Does Sc- Your mom know you are here?"
You kept nibbling as Medkit sat across from you. You swallowed the food you were chewing before answering.
"I was allowed to come. We were caught in an ambush and I escaped.," you replied, "Chainsaw said they'd be okay. I- I just have to believe him, right?"
The doctor sighed and took your hand to look at it. He determined that you were at least not suffering from serious injuries.
Medkit sighed. The red horned inphernal with him slipped into the booth and sat beside you. His eyes were on your head and the lack of horns you had. He touched you lightly and felt that you were warm.
"Medkit, who is this?," the young inphernal asked, "She's so cute."
Medkit looked annoyed and tired, "Sword, this is a... colleague's daughter. Her name is Lualight."
Sword looked happy to see you and meet you. The two decided to have lunch with you since they were there. Sword kept feeling your head, as if trying to find any trace of horns. You were still trying not to break down again. You had to be strong for your brothers and sisters, right? You were their newspawn God.
"After we are done eating, I am taking you somewhere more private to check you for injuries.," Medkit said.
"How about Rocket's place?," Sword asked, "Da Shop is close by."
"That is up to Rocket and Zuka.," Medkit replied.
The three of you ate your meal and began to leave. You stopped and went to Shuriken and the other worker. Shuriken crouched to your level.
"Hey, is there something I can help you with?," He asked.
You looked at his face and horns. He looked pretty strong. He had some facial markings on him and a pair of long green horns. You dug in your bag and brought out three necklaces you made from your crystals.
"For you.," you said, "You, her, the chef. They can protect you."
He and the other worker took the necklaces and put them on.
"Thank you, sweetie.," the much larger, pink horned inphernal said to you, "We'll give our brother his."
You waved and left with Medkit. It was hard to keep up with them, so Sword ended up carrying you. His fingers kept invading your space, though. He was poking at your soft cheeks, enamored at how soft your skin was. You were used to being petted and prodded by others, so you didn't mind him. You remembered what Sword said. Da Shop. You remembered that Broker had mentioned it before. And this 'Rocket' person as well. And 'Zuka'. You remembered how grumpy his voice sounded when Broker let you say hello to him over the phone.
Medkit and Sword talked about things as they walked, Sword even asked you some questions. Mostly about your name and why you didn't have horns. You did not really know how to explain those. But, you tried to answer his other questions as best as possible.
Da Shop come into view. A pretty well maintained building that you could see a selection of weapons through the window. Sword put you down and walked into the shop. You could see him greeting another inphernal with blue horns. Medkit followed sword in and motioned for you to follow as well. You walked in and looked around. The selection of weapons was pretty decent from what you could see. Plus it looked like there were things that could help repair gears if they had been damaged.
"Are you two here to buy something, or are you just visiting?," You heard a familiar but gruff voice ask.
Behind the counter was an older inphernal. He looked to be older than your mama. He had four horns, two sets on either side of his head, all black. He was missing an arm and looked pretty serious while also being tired.
"We needed a safer spot to check her for injuries, Zuka.," Medkit answered.
So you finally had a face to match the name. The younger one with blue horns must have been rocket then. Zuka looked over the counter at you. He seemed a little confused.
"What happened to this one?," Zuka asked, "Her horns are missing."
The teal horned doctor looked down at you with his single eye, "She was spawned without horns. But to answer your question, she survived an ambush."
The tired old man motioned for your group to follow, leading you to his apartment.
"Do not make a mess.," He said, "But you can check on her here."
You looked up to him and held out your small hand. He crouched and took your hand into his large and calloused one to shake.
"Nice to finally meet you, Mr. Zuka!," You greeted, "I'm Lualight! We talked on the phone before!"
Zuka made an expression that looked like soft surprise. His eyes slightly widened. He recognized your voice. He let your hand go and stood up.
"Glad you are safe, Lualight.," he said and went back to the store.
Rocket stayed back with your group as medkit took off your cowl and veil. He checked over your body for injuries, even pressing into your sides and back to check for internal damage.
"You have some bruising.," Medkit stated, "And some heat damage, but you are otherwise healthy."
"Chainsaw broke my fall.," You replied.
Sword and Rocket watched, leaning over the couch to look at your skin and head. They were curiously looking at your hair and colorful eyes. Sometimes reaching out to feel the hair, your nose, or your ears. Your skin was colorful as well. Warm toned compared to their pale grey.
"Thank you for letting us use the apartment.," the teal horned doctor said to Rocket.
"What is up with this thing anyway, Medkit?," Rocket asked with a blunt tone, "You're treating her like she's going to break at the slightest touch."
"I.. Am unable divulge too much.," Medkit replied, "But, she is a collegue's daughter. And she was Spawned much differently than were were. She is a lot more delicate."
"That's obvious.," Rocket stated and pressed a finger lightly into your head, "The kid doesn't even have horns. How the hell is she alive?"
You smacked his hand away, annoyed by his painful poking. He started poking again, enjoying the teasing.
"So soft and weak.," the blue horned inphernal teased.
"Stop it...," You whined.
Medkit shook his head. He just watched the younger ones interact. You got up off the couch and hid behind sword. It kind of became a game of Rocket trying to catch and poke or tickle you while you escaped. You squealed as he caught and tickled your soft skin.
"Be careful with her.," Medkit warned, "Her skin is not as thick as ours."
Rocket put you down, You ran back to the familiar eyepatch'd inphernal and hung onto one of his legs. He placed a hand on your head. It was light and gentle. He looked serious at you.
"You never told me what happened.," He said.
You looked down before he knelt before you. His hand gently raised your head up by your chin lightly.
"How did you get here?," He asked, "The distance you had to travel is great, especially at your age and size."
You teared up a bit. It was scary to think about again. Seeing the fight and hearing those screams.
"He told me to run, they were going to catch me.," You whined as you tried not to cry, "I hid. In the burning place. There is a untouched one deep in the flames."
"Oh, so you're from Lost Temple.," Rocket commented.
Sword leaned in to listen, "So what happened next?"
"I was hiding and alone, then I was not alone.," You continued, "He found me."
"Who found you?," Sword asked.
"The tall one. He wears a wizard hat and has a big smile.," You answered, "He brought me to Crossroads."
You heard Rocket make a noise like he was choking. Medkit stood immediately. Sword made a face you could not read.
"Did you get his name?," Sword asked.
You nodded.
"His name is Darkheart."
You could have sworn you heard a giggle coming from the shadows as the inphernals in front of you grimaced. They did not seem to like that name. Rocket groaned.
"Of course it was that one.," He muttered and got up, "I have to go back to work."
He left you and the other two. The sudden heavy air felt crushing. Medkit looked stressed. Sword, however, looked like he was contemplating something.
"He's not supposed to interact with inphernals outside of his family.," the helmet wearing inphernal said before snapping, "I got it! I can ask my mentor about it! He should know!"
The three of you left, wiith Medkit and Sword going different directions after saying goodbye. You were about to follow Medkit when a scratching, deep voice spoke to you.
"Follow Sword, It'll be more fun."
You looked around, searching for the origin of the voice. Medkit had already disappeared into the crowd. You decided to follow the advice of the voice. You followed Sword into the back alleys and to roads that were not as walked on. The crowds began to dwindle as you continued to follow Sword. You lost sight of him a few times, but the voice guided you.
"Turn left."
"Follow the second street."
"Too far, go back"
"Continue this way."
You found Sword walking into a building in a secluded area. It looked fairly maintained. You followed him in and heard him speaking. It sounded like he was talking to someone close to him. You got closer and heard a chirp. You looked up to the side table beside you and saw a little black bird. The bird looked at you with its little green eyes and made a small 'caw' sound. It did not seem unfriendly as you reached up and touched the smooth feathers. The bird fluttered from on top of the table and perched onto your shoulder, pressing against your cheek. You made a small giggle about how friendly it was.
You heard a much deeper voice from where Sword was. It had to be who he was talking to. You slowly approached and looked into the doorway. A tall being, like the one who brought you here was standing before Sword. This one had a military uniform on and was wearing a scary birdlike mask. The yellow-green horns curled like ram horns.
"-and she was hiding from the attackers before she was brought to Crossroads.," Sword said.
You relized that he was relaying your story to the tall one. This had to be his caretaker or mentor.
"How did she get here from Lost Temple?," The tall masked inphernal asked.
"She... Mentioned Darkheart.," Sword answered, "That's what I was wondering about, You said that you could not interact with others."
"It is true, We are not allowed to.," The masked one said, "He must have had a reason."
"The reason is quite clear, if you see who is eavesdropping~," An all too familiar voice chimed from the shadows.
Darkheart stepped out from the shadows he blended into and made Sword jump from fright. The Mask wearing inphernal did not seem very pleased about the intrusion.
"Is this true?," the mask wearing one asked, "You took a newspawn from the Lost Temple and put her in Crossroads?"
Darkheart laughed in his usual jolly manner, "We did! But we had good reason~"
"Pray tell would that be?," the other tall one inquired.
"Her father asked us to take her somewhere safe if anything were to happen to him or her mother.," The dark colored inphernal answered, "We could not deny the last wishes of a Hornless, now can we?"
The masked one had his full attention on Darkheart after he said that. You leaned in a bit closer to listen. 'Hornless'? Is that their name for your kind? The bird on your shoulder was nuzzling up to you as you listened. You watched the masked one get closer to the wizard hat wearing one.
"There is a Hornless? Where is she?," The masked one asked, "Where did you take her?"
Darkheart still wore his mischievous smile. The bird on your shoulder started to caw, catching the attention of the masked inphernal.
Sword looked right at you after he heard the bird. He looked a little surprised.
"Lualight? Wha-," He asked.
The masked one was looking at you as well. He was even more scary when he looked at you from his intimidating height.
"We brought her here." Darkheart chuckled, "The safest place that We know."
You tried to hide, but was caught by Sword. He brought you to the tall masked one while you shook in his arms.
"Our job is done here, Bye~," Darkheart chimed and disappeared once more.
The masked inphernal turned his attention back to you. The bird that had been on your shoulder flew onto the tall inphernal. The beady eyes still looking at you. You flinched as the tall one touched your head. He felt you shiver and your fearful whimpers. You were not too scared because of Sword being there, but this inphernal petting your head was by far the scariest looking you had seen so far.
"What is your name, little one?," The masked inphernal asked with a gentle tone as he sensed your unease.
"Lualight.," You answered.
"Lualight... That is a pretty name. But I know that is not a name a Hornless would give their child.," He stated.
You looked up at him as he removed his hand from your head, only to reach behind his head and removed his mask. He was showing you his face. It was a lot kinder than his mask let on. His smile was wide, yet peaceful. He knew about your kind, he knew that Lualight was not your original name.
"I am Venomshank.," he introduced himself, "And you already know my brother, Darkheart as well as my ward, Sword."
Sword smiled down at you before looking back at Venomshank.
"What is a Hornless?," He asked his mentor.
Venomshank motioned to you, "She is one. Perhaps even the last one. They are a species that are older than ours, a species that created the inpherno and us."
His hand patted your hair again, "Although I have never seen a young Hornless. I never expected one to be so adorable."
Venomshank was a lot nicer than you expected. You can tell where sword got his kind and gentle personality. You let the two pet your hair and examine your head.
"How have you survived?," Venomshank asked as he took you from sword.
You thought of how to answer without revealing too much, "I was taken in by a group who do not mind that I do not have horns or a gear. "
Venomshank looked a little disappointed. He made a face that looked like a silly mix of sad and pouting. This made you giggle at him.
"I would have taken you in if you didn't have a home.," He admitted, "Sword would have made a good older sibling."
You looked over to Sword, who was practicing with his gear.
"Mama would not like hearing that.," You said, "She killed someone for hurting me. Well, they also wanted to hurt others..."
"Your 'mama' sounds like she is very protective of you.," Venom mused, "I understand. I do not want harm to come to Sword either."
You looked up to Venomshank, seeing the bird on his hat now.
"What is the bird's name?," You asked.
"Oh, this is Sisyphus.," The friendly man replied, "He is my wings, as I was born without them. My siblings all have wings."
"Siblings?," You asked, "More than just Darkheart?"
"Yes. There are seven of us in total.," Venomshank answered, "Myself and Darkheart you have already met. There is also my sister, Windforce."
He grimaced as he said the name.
"She is not exactly nice. Neither is my brother, Illumina.," He continued, "Ghostwalker is fine, albeit a little cold. I have not heard from Icedagger in a long time."
He paused and looked down at you, Seeing the soot that stained your cheek and feet from running through the flames. His expression was reminescent of your biological father's. So kind and concerned. The love you could feel. Scythe had also made that kind expression towards you many times. You were starting to miss her.
"Firebrand would have loved to meet you. He always had a soft spot.," Venomshank said, "His flames did destroy, but it seems they were also protecting you from those who wanted to harm you."
You dug through your bag and pulled out some more of your crystals. you presented it to Venomshank.
"Here. For you and Sword.," You said while holding it out, "I don't know how, but I keep making these. They are good for healing and making some small things."
Venomshank took the crystal and looked at it, turning it and observing the colors. His eyes widened in amazement, then he had a look of what seemed to be a realization of horror. He looked down at you with concern.
"Were you in danger a few months ago?." He asked in a serious tone, "I felt this stone's energy burst. It felt like someone was terrified."
You remembered. A few months ago was when your eye was supposed to be removed. Your energy outburst that almost killed the brothers and sisters around you stopped that. You nodded to his question.
He gave you a firm but comforting embrace, your head was resting on his broad shoulders.
"I am sorry.," he said, "I should have- Darkheart should have-"
He was struggling to find the right words, even with his over a century of experience. You felt his breath heave as he made himself calm down.
"We should have helped as soon as we felt you fall into this inpherno.," Venomshank said to you in your language, "Then you would not be alone."
It was strange to hear it again after all this time. He spoke it so well that it almost sounded like your father was speaking to you again.
Sword wandered back over and got Venomshank's attention, "Its getting late. I should probably take her to Medkit's place so she can be returned to her mom."
The tall inphernal did not seem to want to let you go, but he relented. You were given to Sword and he left with you. He carried you through Crossroads. Through the roads and to an apartment building. Sword carried you up to an apartment and knocked on the door. The Teal horned inphernal you knew well opened the door. His expression turned to relief.
"Where?," Medkit asked.
Sword looked a little bashful, "She followed me back home. My mentor liked meeting her."
The red horned inphernal put you down and patted your head. He gave you a smile and said goodnight to you. But you got scolded by Medkit for following someone you just met in unfamiliar territory. You noticed that Medkit's apartment did not have a bed like your room back at the church. Just a couch. You watched as Medkit changed into something more comfortable and laid down on the couch. You crawled up onto his stomach and looked at him, seeing him without his eyepatch for the first time. There were stitch scars keeping his eyelids closed.
You lay on top of Medkit after pulling the sheet on top of both of you. Your head rested on his chest and felt his heartbeat inside. You could tell he was barely asleep. You closed your eyes and felt yourself slipping as well. You prayed that both of you got good rest and good dreams this night.
Scythe was pacing and fuming. Her baby was out there and she didn't know where. The supply team had not reported back yet. She looked up when she heard footsteps. The supply team's bodies were being dragged in by some other members. Scythe walked up to see the wounds. Crossbow's veins and muscles were reattaching her lost limb back on. She could see Chainsaw's bones and organs reforming inside of him. Crowbar Gasped and saw up quickly as his skull healed back over, covering the reforming brain material. Chainsaw groaned and sat up.
"Fuck... um.. Hi Scythe.," The Inphernal gulped.
Scythe looked down at the freshly revived supply runners, "Where is my baby?"
"She um... Ran into the flames of the ruins??," Chainsaw said and covered his head while receiving a punch to the top of his noggin.
"Why didn't you protect her like you were supposed to?," Scythe asked with a twinge of irritation in her voice.
"We were ambushed.," Crowbar said while reattaching his jaw, "More'n just us three. They are getting more desperate."
Scythe was about to say something else when Broker's voice sounded, gaining the attention of the group.
"Lualight is safe.," he said, "So you can stop scolding them."
Scythe looked back at her friend.
"Where is she?," Your mama asked, desperation for your safety and location in her tone.
"My contact in Crossroads saw her. She's with Meds.," The broker replied, "Don't know how she got there on her own, but she's perfectly safe."
Scythe heaved a sigh of relief. You were safe. The newspawn God was okay. Her baby was safe. She despawned her gear and wiped her eyes, she didn't notice her tears before. The supply group was allowed to go back to their rooms to rest, leaving Broker and Scythe alone.
"I should have gone with them.," She said to the scarred Inphernal.
Broker smiled his usual smile, "Lualight is going to be okay. Meds is not going to let anything happen to her."
"He might stick me with a pretty big bill, though.," Scythe chuckled.
At least you were safe. But, they still had to report this to the Father. Their enemies had seen Lua, and the church had to be ready if said enemies got too curious about their hornless newspawn. Scythe placed the special necklace you made for her on her desk before getting ready for bed. Her fingers ran over it, the feeling of warmth and pulsing energy from it made it feel like she could feel your heartbeat through it.
Medkit woke the next morning oddly refreshed feeling. He was able to sleep through the night. Your small body was still on top of his. You were quite warm and your hair looked like it shimmered in the way your crystals did. The teal horned doctor rose up and held you against his chest. You looked peaceful. Not like a god, but an innocent child. You were just an innocent child. Conflict rose in his mind. He should return you to the church, but wouldn't it be better for you to be given to sword and his mentor. Or even better yet, returned to where you originally came from. He had heard whispers that your spawning was not natural, that you and your parents were taken from your home in a ritual that barely worked and was expensive to accomplish. Now your biological parents were deceased and you were left all alone.
Vunerable.
You stretched in his arms as you woke up. Your bright and colorful eyes looking up at his duller one. You smiled at him in the same innocent and friendly manner you always did. The same way that Sword smiles at him.
"Good morning!," Your cheerful voice said as he finally set you down on the floor.
"Morning.," was his simple response.
You were used to his blunt and simple attitude. You looked around as he went about his morning. Your eyes locked onto a bright red phone. It was the same kind that you saw on Broker's desk. You climbed onto the desk chair and reached your hand to the phone. Medkit saw you pick it up and listen to the buzzing line.
"Did you want to call them?," He asked.
You nodded and Medkit gave you the number to call. You punched in the numbers with and waited as the tone played.
"Good morning," the ever familiar voice on the other side said.
You were happy to hear him, "Broker, Good morning!"
"Oh Lualight! I am glad you called, We were worried sick about you.," The Broker chimed back, "Your mom looked like she was going to pop a blood vessel. I am assuming you are with Meds?"
"I am.," You replied, "Crossroads is fun. I got to see new faces and try new food."
"I know you met Zuka. He told me last night when I called him.," Broker said, "Stay with Medkit, We shall come get you when it is safe."
You heard some talking on the other end between Broker and someone else.
"Lua, Darlin', are you okay?," You heard Scythe's voice.
Your face kit up at her voice, "I am mama! It's fun here in Crossroads!"
You told her about everything you saw and the different inphernals you had seen, purposely leaving out Darkheart and Venomshank from being mentioned. You knew how the church felt about the Seven from how Father talked about them.
You stopped your talking before asking your mom a question, "Are the twins and Crowbar okay?"
You heard her sigh, "They're okay, thanks to the crystals you gave 'em."
She did not speak for a few seconds, there were more sounds from their end.
"Lualight, I cannot get you just yet. Just stay with Medkit and stay safe.," Scythe told you.
"Okay mama! I love you!," You said and heard her choke a bit from happiness of hearing you say that.
"I love you too, Darlin'," She said and the phone hung up.
Yandere platonic medkit from phighting with a reader who is contemplating to be alone forever. 🙂
Oof... uh, the way this was worded was a little sad and I'm not entirely sure what to do with this... so I'm going to try my best with this?
Sorry this is a weak fic... I didn't have many ideas but I also didn't just want to cancel it... so I did what I could.
Yandere! Platonic! Medkit with Reclusive! Reader
(Short HCs)
Pairing: Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Reader, Obsession, Overprotective/Possessive behavior, Manipulation, Stalking, Soft yandere, Possible OOC Medkit, Dubious companionship.
Wanting to be alone is a perfectly valid thing... for this is a difference between being alone and loneliness.
How I personally interpret this request is you're an inphernal who simply... prefers to be alone.
Other inphernals are too damn loud and rowdy.
It doesn't help that they're a naturally violent species either.
So... you spend most of your time alone.
Maybe you get an apartment in Crossroads and spend most of your time keeping to yourself?
You don't bother with Phights, you don't have many friends... and honestly?
It's soothing.
You just do your job when you need to... and stay in your apartment when you don't.
Sure, sometimes you help others... but you never really let anyone that close to you.
Which... makes the dynamic between you and Medkit interesting.
Medkit is also someone who keeps to himself and doesn't let anyone get too close.
He's paranoid after what he went through in Blackrock... He feels safest when he just needs to focus on himself.
So... being two reclusive inphernals... you would probably meet by chance.
I personally like the idea that this takes place before the events of the comic where Medkit has an apartment to get away from The True Eye Church.
So maybe you're both neighbors who occasionally see one another when you both go outside?
This leads to you both not really getting close to one another... but acknowledging one another as harmless I guess?
I feel an obsession like this would develop slowly.
Medkit knows about you... but you two don't interact all that often.
Yet when you do speak with one another?
It's casual.
He's a mysterious inphernal, never revealing too much about himself to anyone.
But somehow you manage to be someone he can sorta trust.
You're quiet, keep to yourself... Medkit doesn't mind such company.
Sometimes you two may 'hang out' with one another... but it's mostly you two bonding in silence.
I feel like Medkit would be a soft/tame yandere in this situation.
He enjoys your presence and slowly finds himself looking after you.
Even when you don't know it.
He doesn't even realize he's doing it himself.
Just sometimes when you end a conversation with one another... Medkit finds himself thinking about you.
He has no reason to... you're both doing your own thing...
Yet the more he learns about you... the more involved he wants to be.
He finds himself trying to talk with you more... which may end up with him learning why you're so reclusive.
You don't like being around other inphernals.
He can understand such a sentiment, especially when he's essentially on the run.
Although... it disappoints him a bit?
He finds himself wanting to grow closer to you as time goes on... yet you always try to put some distance between you two.
Medkit probably knows it's for the best...
He has some dangerous ties to him.
Yet at the same time... He hopes he's an exception.
Medkit tries his best to be someone you can trust and rely on.
He understands his gear isn't really for violence... but I can see him wanting to be a mentor for his obsession.
Medkit is no doubt smart enough to find ways to crawl into your life one way or another.
He offers supporting words, careful with what he says due to your nature.
It's like he's trying to convince you that you two are one in the same.
For that reason you two should support one another.
Since he's a yandere in this... He'd probably be fine with you not wanting to be around others... yet also try to convince you to trust him as your next door neighbor.
Honestly... it may just work too.
Medkit is probably one of the only people you've spoken to that understands your feelings.
So with him playing the long game and offering support to you... He may just find a way to get close to you before you know it.
Medkit would probably be a subtle yandere with you too... acting as a friend/mentor towards you and quietly looking out for you.
In a way he's an isolating yandere... but that isn't bad for those who want to be isolated, right?
An alternate way to see this idea that could work better is if this is after Medkit was at 'Lost Temple' with True Eye... but meets you as a more isolated cult member.
They always try to get you to talk... to tell you the members here are family...
But you're just here to escape some past trauma that drove you here....
Medkit would probably still try to get close to you by offering support.
He relates to you by saying he doesn't particularly enjoy these people either.
But for now he has to deal with it.
Medkit tries to make himself a safe space for you.
He's overprotective, especially when you tend to isolate yourself from more intimidating members such as Scythe or Broker.
You probably eventually grow closer to him, talking to him more.
You're still rather reclusive and hate how irritating other inphernals are... or something similar...
But Medkit feels the same as you... so you are more susceptible to what he says.
I can see Medkit maybe planning ways to take you with him when he runs from True Eye.
He whispers to you about running away, somewhere where no one can bother you both.
He doesn't want to harm you... you can both ditch other inphernals together... just the two of you.
That's really all the ideas I have since Medkit is not a very forceful yandere.
He's already quite isolating as a yandere anyways, determined to protect his obsession no matter the situation.
So if he can get you to trust him? Then he's won.
If you want to be alone... fine.
But he wants to be alone with you.
A weird thing to say, sure... but what I'm trying to say is he wants to be the one person you can trust in this world.
It can be just the two of you...
He'll make sure no one disrupts the quiet trust between you... He refuses to lose you once he's found someone he can actually get close to in The Inpherno.
Ok this idea falls more into the category of “I could write this myself without the yandere but I’m too lazy to do that and I want to see yandere medkit”
Human Darling x Yandere Medkit: Reader just randomly appears in the middle of a PHIGHT, and stumbles across Banhammer Phighting against Medkit. Reader assumes that this is a normal murder attempt, and steps in to save Medkit, earning his heart. Turns out it was a misunderstanding, and everything resolves peacefully.
After that you can write whatever you want about yandere Medkit and reader getting used to the Inpherno.
I now must thank you again for reading this comically long ask and still writing this for me. I know I probably shouldn’t make requests this long, but thank you still for writing these! This includes all the other fics that aren’t my requests! :D
Not the biggest fan of the plot unfortunately... but I hope you don't mind some tweaks? I wanted to make it plausible in canon without making things too OOC.
I am struggling to write humans in the Phighting universe lol :') I will persevere though!
Ended up getting some ideas from @krystalkitdemi and @cosmica-galaxy on how Inphernals would act around humans.
Yandere! Medkit with Human! Darling
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Overprotective/Possessive behavior, Violence, Blood, Dehumanizing behavior, You're treated like a pet, Human/Inphernal pairing, Kidnapping (technically?), Human pet (kinda), Drugging, Dubious/Forced companionship/relationship.
I feel like transporting you into a Phight randomly would be a bit too... chaotic and dangerous since you're not an Inphernal.
You'd probably end up dead if you got in the way of Ban Hammer.
However... I do like the idea of you helping Medkit in some way.
After all, the guy's always on the run.
Be it from Blackrock or The Church... Medkit is often sought after due to his abilities.
Considering you said "randomly appears"... it makes me think you were transported into the Inpherno.
Which makes me wonder if maybe in Robloxia you ended up getting into an incident that sent you here.
I'll be honest it's not too unheard of if you look at games that have collaborated with Phighting... Zuka's in Block Tales after all.
So a random human/Robloxian accidentally getting sent to the Inpherno has some plausibility.
That or if you want... an AU where humans and Inphernals exist in the same universe could be cool.
It's just that humans are usually hidden due to the vicious nature of the Inpherno's Inphernal population.
Either way... looks like you fall upon hard times and end up away from whatever place you called home.
Medkit is a naturally skeptical person due to his background... so I doubt he'd warm up to a strange creature all that fast.
In terms of trying to save Medkit... maybe he's on the run from The Church... or if you want you can change this to when he was just moving into Crossroads to get away from The Church/Blackrock?
The point is... Medkit probably has Inphernals eager to get their claws on him.
While humans are weaker than Inphernals... by a lot... you end up accidentally encountering Medkit.
He's probably trying to talk down some of his pursuers... maybe scouts from The Church.
You on the other hand... be you bold or stupid... distract the Inphernals.
Medkit looked to be in a tight spot so... you throw bottles you collected from the dumpsters around Crossroads.
Medkit and his pursuers are... stunned.
He's never seen ANY kind of creature like you....
Humanoid like an Inphernal... yet small, skin softer and a different color, some sort of fur on your head, no horns was probably the most baffling part....
A strange creature... saved him.
Just by tossing a few bottles and running off to drive away those hunting him.
Medkit uses these precious seconds to run off to safety... yet his mind drifts back to you.
What in the Inpherno ARE you...?
You end up disappearing for a bit... but Medkit keeps an eye out.
I feel like how Medkit properly meets his alien savior would be if you got injured... or he just straight up tried to catch you.
Now I just imagine Medkit trying to hide you in his apartment as he learns more about you.
You will most likely be unable to understand a word he says... and him the same.
You have two different languages to Medkit has to try and play what's essentially charades with you.
While in the Phighting comic it's revealed Inphernals DO bleed red... I like my personal HC more that Inphernals bleed the color in their horns.
So maybe if you want to use that HC... Maybe Medkit would even be surprised that you bleed red.
Although not like he'd know what you bled anyways... you don't have horns... such a thing he checks carefully once coaxing you into his apartment.
Medkit is wary once he manages to capture you... but he doubts you're a threat.
Especially if you end up getting injured.
Medkit would carefully observe and analyze you, hiding you in the dark apartment he has, scanning you head to toe.
He checks to see if you somehow lost your horns... but there's no bumps.
He checks your skin, it's soft... warm... squishy...
His skin by comparison is much tougher.
You don't seem to have a gear you can summon either... and your eyes hold much more color than his darker ones.
Medkit may even fidget with your hair, eyes squinted as he tries to figure out the purpose.
You aren't muscular either... not like an Inphernal at least.
You're weaker... easier to make bleed...
Easier to break... your blood has a strangely... nice scent too.
Honestly... Medkit is probably one of the better ones to have a human around.
He's a rare Inphernal born with the ability to heal... much different from the more violent Inphernals in the Inpherno.
So since something as docile and skittish as you is easy to target... Medkit can patch you up.
Medkit likes to study you... He knows he can't leave you alone.
But don't worry... studying you is different from what Subspace would have done.
He simply likes to look you over, exploring how different you are from Inphernals he's had to treat.
The good news is humans have similar diets to Inphernals... so he can feed you.
Medkit may even study your language or find a way to properly communicate with you.
Ugh... He's no teacher... but expect to be taught basic phrases in his language to speak with you.
He can tell you're a sentient creature... one with your own culture and language.
You're intelligent like an Inphernal... even when you're so easy to break.
You're essentially treated like some sort of pet though.
Medkit doesn't exactly know what else to consider you.
You'd be kept in his apartment, not daring to leave since it's the safest place for you.
He's careful with you, noting how easy it is to bruise you and your skin.
Originally Medkit takes care of you due to what you did for him... you tried to protect him... a creature you didn't know.
In return he gives you shelter and keeps you company.
You're kept clean, fed, and dressed the best Medkit can.
He's still a runaway himself after all....
Medkit may not realize it for a while... yet he grows attached to your company.
Medkit doesn't really have anyone he connects with.
He never got along with Subspace, he certainly doesn't care much for The Church...
Sword is probably the one person he doesn't mind.
Yet now he has you.
You're a completely different creature from him... but you aren't irritating.
You may be foreign... although Medkit feels comfortable around you.
Imagine if Medkit is having night terrors again due to his time at Blackrock...
Only for him to wake up with you against his chest.
His breath hitches, confused...
But you're warm, soft...
You somehow manage to make him drop his guard.
You may actually help the demon sleep.
You're like a heated blanket... the demon surprisingly pulled you close to squeeze you.
You're sleeping against him... as though he's the safest place to be...
Truthfully, out of most Inphernals, he may just be.
That night he's actually gotten more sleep than he has in a while.
Which makes it routine for you to settle against his side when he sleeps.
You swear you hear the demon purr... (another HC of mine)
Medkit probably hasn't purred in a long time.
So it's fascinating that some alien creature pulls that from him.
Medkit is already an overprotective yandere... but he would be even more so with a human.
You can't fend for yourself... and while his gear is meant to heal... he still has a revolver.
He keeps you in his apartment for your own safety, hiding you from the world.
He knows he should probably be helping you get home... but part of him may be too attached.
The only other Inphernals that get to see you would be Sword.
Even then, it's by accident.
Sword is baffled by seeing you, but assumes you're like some sort of cryptid/unknown animal Medkit found.
Medkit has to suppress a growl when he sees Sword coo over you, squishing your face like you're some cat.
The only other time you could probably meet other Inphernals would be if Medkit was ever dragged off to 'Lost Temple' again.
He doesn't want to leave you alone... although he tries to hide you...
Only for you to probably be dragged with him.
The Church may find an interest in a human anyways.
Or at the very least they have two pets to keep now.
Medkit ends up getting defensive about you, shielding you from Broker or Scythe.
Scythe does enjoy animals though... so maybe she'll be more kind.
Medkit doesn't care though, far as he's concerned you're HIS responsibility.
You end up being like an emotional support human to Medkit.
You help him sleep and he seems... happier with you?
It's hard to tell.
I feel he'd mostly be overprotective and isolating with his human.
Mostly because he's afraid to lose you to another Inphernal.
So imagine wanting to go home, you manage to learn enough from Medkit to communicate that.
He... isn't letting you go home.
He doesn't think he can go back to how things were without his human.
You bring him comfort... Yet you wish to return to other humans?
You wish to leave him?
... Medkit doesn't let you.
You'd only get yourself killed.
He's strong enough to stop you too.
You try to run? He'd grapple you and hold you still.
Knowing the fact he has access to meds... it would not surprise me if Medkit sedates his human.
The Inpherno isn't safe for humans.
Medkit's just trying to protect a soft docile thing like you.
He's sorry about sedating you to make you stay still as he holds you... but to him he's just doing his job.
hi um. OK im nervous. can you do a yandere subspace with an isekai'd reader? as in reader is from irl and theyre human :3 SORRY IF THIS IS BAD ummmmm yeah.
I was originally unsure how to do this but like... I love Subspace so I need to do SOMETHING. He like... cartoon level villainy at time lmao.
Also, RIP... you get sent into the Inpherno and you meet one of the WORST guys there.... I mostly focused on just how he'd treat a human in this.
Me and @krystalkitdemi discussed some ideas about this.
Yandere! Subspace with Isekai Human! Darling
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Controlling behavior, Possessive behavior, Sadism, Human experimentation, Invasive behavior, Subspace makes you sick in purpose, Isolation, Kidnapping, Violence, Blood, Human pet, Blood tasting, Collars/Leashes, Forced companionship/relationship.
I'll be honest... Subspace is probably one of the more intense yanderes to have.
He's a deformed scientist from Blackrock who stays isolated primarily due to his condition... and he prefers robotics over Inphernals.
So giving him a human?
It's probably going to be a disaster.
Subspace has always been on for experimentation....
There's probably better Inphernals you could've ended up with... The cafe trio, Katana, Sword, Rocket, Medkit as shown in the previous HCs.
But Subspace was easily one of the worst decisions.
In terms of how you got here... Maybe an experiment in Blackrock got out of hand and summoned a human?
That or you randomly spawned in the Inpherno... and were unfortunate enough to land in Blackrock territory.
Korblox probably grew wary of a new creature in their faction's territory... which leads to Subspace becoming your 'caretaker'.
Since this is an isekai story and these characters were probably originally just part of a game for you... Let's say you understand the language this time.
Subspace isn't scared of you, no, despite his weakness compared to other Inphernals... He's confident a creature like you can be easily controlled.
If he really needed help... He has Biografts to help with the job.
Subspace with his human is much different than Medkit.
Medkit bonds with his human through shared experiences... like you both having nowhere to call home.
Subspace... isn't as sympathetic.
He sees you as his newest lab rat at first.
A new project he gets to toy with.
You're kept in a cell within his lab, the place always crawling with Biografts as Subspace works.
He's cruel and taunting, musing how something like you must be far from home.
He conducts tests on your hair... the lack of horns on your head... the softness of your flesh....
His own flesh is withering due to his... condition... yet he still acts intrigued about your own.
He takes blood samples, pokes and prods at you... gives you no privacy.
You're warm, squishy, bruise easily... even stranger?
Your kind is immune to his rot.
Well... not fully.
I speculate since human and Inphernal biology are so different... Humans aren't affected the same way as Inphernals are by diseases.
So... the very same rot that incapacitates Subspace...
Only shows up as shingles symptoms in humans... or at the very least some sort of rash.
You're so weak... yet your immune system handles what he can't..
He can't figure out if he's envious or impressed.
Your blood also has a certain aroma when he tests it...
Would not surprise me if Subspace tried to taste it in private.
Subspace would probably originally want to dissect his human test subject.
Although... the fact you are immune to his rot or fight it off... intrigues him enough to spare you.
For better or for worse as you're still often kept in a cell.
You become... reluctant company for the mad scientist Inphernal.
You're the only person that doesn't react to his rot.
Which makes him want to keep you around.
It's hard to determine the relationship between you two.
You're often kept in your cell, luckily given food and water once Subspace could narrow down what you liked to eat.
He often likes to observe you... like someone watching their hamster interact with the stuff in their cage.
You have a bed... as well as being able to see into the lab...
But besides that?
Subspace is your only form of entertainment.
He often has Biografts guard your cell while he works and conducts tests.
You are often coaxed into conversations with your captor too, the Inphernal talking more at you than anything.
Although if you praise his machines and work?
It makes him like you more.
For the most part does view you as some kind of pet.
You're a vulnerable little thing... One completely reliant on him.
It gives him an ego to have so much control over something.
Eventually this is less about research... and more Subspace finding a twisted form of companionship within you.
Perhaps deep down he's lonely... or just sadistic at the thought of making you beg.
Subspace... would let you out of your cell for "enrichment".
Which just means you get to have a collar and leash slapped on you like an animal.
Subspace probably likes to touch around his human too, exploring them curiously as he keeps a tight grip on your leash.
He tugs you around the lab... even if he's physically weak he's probably still stronger than you.
Although... even if you could fight back...
He'd probably just call his Biografts to put you back in your place.
That or find a way to keep you sick so you don't try to fight.
With some tinkering he'll probably find a way to infiltrate that strange immune system of yours... or simply sedate you to teach you your place.
You listen to him now.
His lovely little pet.
Subspace drags you around with him, Biografts always around like guards in case you try to pull a fast one.
Subspace also seems like the type to pull you onto his lap.
He holds the leash as he pets you, nuzzling to memorize your scent as he reminds you he's in charge.
Your life is in his hands...
He doesn't plan to let something as rare as you go.
I feel like while he doesn't seem like it... He'd take you out of your cell to hold you while he rests.
He clips the leash to him so you can't run and instructs you to lay beside him... like telling a dog to sit.
After words he relishes in your warmth, uncaring of his rot for once.
He'll treat your rashes later.
Subspace barely can purr... it comes out as something gurgling.
But he certainly purrs when he has his human's warmth against him.
Subspace is possessive too.
He views you as a pet to own.
You're meant to be his companion.
Any other coworkers will deal with him before getting a glimpse of you....
His grip on the leash is always tight... but he isn't worried about you running.
Blackrock has high security.
You won't get far before a Biograft collects you again... or Hyperlaser....
Subspace is... surprisingly soft at times with you.
You went from being experimented on... to being coddled and praised like some obedient pet.
There's no going home... you know this... HE knows this....
It's just you... and him...
He thrives on that.
You need him... You're reliant on Subspace T. Mine... and it makes him smile.
You can't run... nothing can take you from him... a win for him considering his growing attachment.
You are his new favorite project... a new pet to play with for as long as he likes...
He doesn't plan to let you go... not like you had anywhere to flee to.
So you listen, you let him touch you, you let him drag you, he's all you'll ever know now...
Such a thought makes Subspace giddy... nothing else in this damned place matters to him now... just his new human pet... all his to play with however he wishes.
Congrats! You've been isekai'd into the Re:Zero world!
Oh wait. You don't have plot armor.
No ‘Return by Death’ either.
You’re completely useless.
Actually, you’ve got a narrative debuff: Subaru woke up next to a cutie like you in another world and decided ‘This is fate!’
Satella hated that.
So now you’ve got this stupid curse that makes death stalk you like it’s got a GPS tracker on your soul.
But as a counterbalance—divine ‘Blessing of Luck’ that yo-yos you between near-fatal disasters and winning the lottery.
And Subaru.
He was always a yandere in canon.
But here? His ‘precious companion’ is constantly in danger, needing rescue?
Oh, his inner hero’s already sprinting to save her.
Or screaming for Reinhard to save them both.
Reinhard absolutely notices Subaru’s unhealthy obsession. But stays quiet—because Subaru’s his first friend who didn’t care about status or his inhuman strength.
So he does nothing.
Result? Subaru’s ‘warm feelings’ curdle into something darker—especially after each ‘Return’.

Soon, you’ll wake up on the outskirts of Lugunica in a tiny, unfamiliar house.
Only to realize you’ve lost 4 months of your life.
Four. Long. Months. He kept you drugged unconscious while playing ‘devoted boyfriend seeking medicine for his sick girlfriend’.
Kind travelers actually believed him. Helped the ‘poor young man’ carry you further from civilization… building your ‘new life’ together.
"You’re awake, darling. I missed you so much."*
His surprise is a lie. This time, he swapped the sedative for a milder tranquilizer.
You can only guess how many loops it took to perfect the dose—enough to keep you asleep, but not dead.
"N-Natsuki…?"
"Yes, love. I’m here. And now… I’ll really take care of you."

Darkness.
More like dim light.
Your arms and legs are tightly duct-taped to a chair.
What the hell?
How did you end up here?
Well… You pretty boldly snuck out of the house to go to this colorful cosplay convention, even though your parents strictly forbade it. Grades not good enough, behavior issues - the usual stuff.
To avoid standing out or running into anyone you knew, you dressed up as a male knight. The makeup and costume were spot-on.
So spot-on that shortly after the con started, you were surrounded by a crowd of people wanting photos.
You’d never questioned your heterosexuality, but posing with all those cute girls in adorable costumes felt… refreshing. A little thrilling, even.
About as thrilling as imagining how much trouble you’d be in when your parents found out you’d run away.
But back to the current problem.
You really shouldn’t have chased off those guys who were harassing that sweet girl. Apparently, they tracked you down, and now you’re in deep shit.
The door opens, and bright light blinds you. You hear clicking footsteps.
Wait… heels?
“Are you awake? Are you comfortable?”
It’s the voice of the girl you saved earlier. That stunning brunette - probably the most popular girl in school, with admirers everywhere. God, you’d love to be like her. But you push the thought away.
“Who are you?”
She looks a bit flustered.
“Natsumi Schwartz. Or rather… Natsuki Subaru.”
There’s a distinctly masculine edge to this “girl’s” voice.
The kidnapping, which at first seemed almost exciting (“oh, it’s that cutie - I can totally talk my way out of this!”), suddenly feels extremely dangerous. Your brain floods with every true-crime stalker story you’ve ever heard.
“N-no, no! I just brought you some food and warm clothes. You can change in the bathroom - it’s in the next room. But fair warning: I’m stronger than I look, and escaping isn’t an option.”
“Why am I here?”
“How do I explain this… Your cosplay from last year - the one where you were that super cute, super kind silver-haired elf.”
He starts rambling about the quality of the costume, how perfect the roleplay was. His face turns bright red - like steam’s about to come out of his ears.
“Anyway, I followed you online. Wanted to find out who you were, meet you in real life. And I was blown away: you weren’t faking it. The number of times you helped people at cons, how sweet and kind you were to everyone - it’s countless.”
“So I decided to protect you from all the other stalkers and creeps out there.”
Your mind explodes: Oh my god, there were others?! You feel sick just thinking about it.
“Those two guys from today? Both at least seven years older than you. I made sure the police picked them up. So yeah - I’m your super cool secret protector, watching from the shadows!”
“Thanks… Um, Subaru, right? So why are you wearing a dress?”
“You wouldn’t freak out, obviously! And it makes it easier to explain how we’re connected. Also… probably time to wash off the makeup. According to my schedule…”
He glances dramatically at his watch.
“It’s dinner time, wash-up time, and evening chill time in my company. I’m pretty sure you haven’t seen the new Hayao Miyazaki movie yet. So eat up before it gets cold - or I’ll start feeding you myself. Mom will be upset if you don’t eat properly, okay?”
“Okay…”
So his parents know. And holy crap, they’re okay with this.
Soon Subaru brings you his clothes and new hygiene items.
You thoroughly check the bathroom for cameras, then calmly wash up, trying to organize your racing thoughts. From the sound of running water, he’s doing dishes and talking with his mom.
He’s excitedly telling her how adorable you’ll look in a home setting, how nervous he is about saying the wrong thing - because he’s already embarrassed that his favorite girl will be walking around in his T-shirt!
He doesn’t seem cruel. It’s actually kind of flattering. And strangely reassuring.
By the end of the movie, you’re completely relaxed and, exhausted from the day, you fall asleep.
“I know you’re not ready for a relationship with a guy and all that. So let me be your best girlfriend… for now. Sleep tight, my kind, super cute silver-haired elf.”
I'm thinking of an evil, mad scientist girl. She works under another, older mad scientist.
Alright, this is in magical girl universe I've made up in my head. Basically magical girls are working for an evil empire. Though this is more of just smut (I know i said I wouldn't write this, but I just really want to. I just don't care for taking requests from others about this.)
tw for noncon and yandere. This obviously isn't okay in real life.
Basically she's Mikan but way more evil. And confident. She acts all cute and sweet, but is a sadist. She looks like the typical dandere. Pastel green-hair, nurse outfit, everything to look unassuming.
You're just some magical girl taken in for healing. She's a nurse outside of her experiments that day. She gets to know you ever time, and becomes entranced. You're just so cute!
Eventually she drags you to live in her chambers. She loves it when you squirm underneath her.
If you're submissive, she enjoys how you give in. How you obey.
If you fight back, she thinks it's cute how you're so fiesty when you'll never escape. Sometimes she'll get even feakier.
You sleep next to her every night, stuck between her and a pillow she shoves up against your back/stomach. Whatever is facing away from her.
She likes to cuddle very tightly. You can barely move. That's a constant here. Usually, you're restrained in some way.
She likes to make you wear skimpy clothes. At times, it seems it would be less sexual to be completely naked.
Sometimes your food has an aphrodisiac in it. Just to make you desperate and needy.
She'll keep something in your pants, so she can turn you on at anytime.
The worst part is how she acts. Even when she's doing horrific acts, she still uses that soft-singsong voice. It's so patronizing.
"You're so cute when you wriggle around like that!"
We’ve all came to this lovely conclusion right? Okay great but think abt this…WALK WITH ME! It’s known the Viltrumites can hold their breath for an insane amount of time right? Imagine him going down on you and not having to breathe I mean he’s INNN ITTT!! Tongue, fingers and all and you’d have to TELL him to stop cause you can’t take it anymore. 🌚
