Hi I'm E (nickname since I don't want to put my real name on the public internet). I'm 22, cismale, and straight (but with too many intimacy issues to have a relationship). I'm from Br*tain.

I'm autistic, and have ADHD and depression. My social skills and personality are kinda blunted because of this and because I haven't had friends in a long time. I'm trying to fix that right now. If I take a long time to message you it's not because I hate you, I'm just avoidant, forgetful and a procrastinator.

A cool idea for a post-Combine world. A way is figured out to save headcrab victims, but the mutations can't be reversed, or can only be partially reversed.

So there'd be a lot of citizens walking around with zombie features. They'd likely have mental trauma and physical problems as a result.

The process itself would have to be some very clever combination of medical ingenuity, leftover combine tech and Vortessence healing (or whatever the name is for what they used to save Alyx).

Maybe something similar could also happen to Stalkers.

Anyone can contribute, add on whatever they want, as long as the ideas are liked by the community they get added. Many different stories can be woven from the same original ideas. There's no pressure to prevent contradictions, differents parts can be regarded seperate from each other, parts you dislike can be freely disregarded.

As a result, the wiki has flourised. From some simple horrors we now have sprawling urban fantasies.

It's how stories spread in the days of yore, you'd get many different retellings of the same stories as different authors add their own contributions over the years, and different people choose different authors to regard or disregard.

I wonder what kinda goods the Neath exports to the surface?

The Neath's a unique place, with many unique things to export.

Nevercold Brass could be used to create heated floors. It probably sees a lot of use in colder areas. I wonder what effect honey has when taken on the surface? And if Parabola linen still has dreamy effects? Which of the mushrooms wines and other delicacies would they take a liking to? Is it acceptable to use Tincture of Vigour as medicine?

Of course, they'd all have to be kept out of reach of sunlight. Carefully packaged, taken out only at night or in rooms with no uncurtained windows. Having plants that not only don't require sunlight but will die if they do get it, could be used to decorate spots without any sunlight (basements, caves).

The Master's are probably happy with it. Plenty of profit to be made, and encourages visitors, whether temporary or permanent.

Oh, now I'm wondering how much of a hassle surface traders find dealing with the Neath's barter economy to be.
