"Group activity daw pero ako ray ga-lihok."
In every successful group project lies clear communication and effective collaboration. In our latest campaign, we aim to address a common issue faced by many students such as doing all the work for a "group" activity while others seem to disappear. Through our campaign, we hope to highlight the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and how the use of ICT tools can foster a more efficient approach to group work.
1. Key Insights from the Concept Paper
Our research has shown that good teamwork is more than just dividing tasks. It’s about understanding that communication plays a critical role in ensuring that every member stays on track and contributes equally. The ICT Succession Theory provides an insightful framework for this. It emphasizes the need to share information in a logical sequence to avoid confusion and make sure everyone is aligned. By applying this theory, we can reduce misunderstandings, keep everyone in the loop, and make collaboration easier.
2. Campaign Development
In developing our campaign, we wanted to make sure it speaks directly to students who are all too familiar with the struggles of uneven group work because we focus on the idea that clear communication, divided responsibilities, and the use of tools like Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Messenger can make group work much more manageable. We also highlight how staying active and mindful in the process can prevent anyone from becoming a free rider, who lets others carry the load.
Through our campaign, we aim to inspire students to take responsibility for their tasks, communicate effectively, and use technology to facilitate group projects. By doing so, we believe group work will be a more equitable and productive experience for everyone involved.
3. Engagement Strategies
To reach our target audience effectively, we’ve implemented several engagement strategies. First, we’re using social media platforms like Facebook and Tiktok to share relatable content that highlight the frustrations of group work, and how clear communication can solve these issues. Our posts also encourage students to reflect on their own group work experiences, using hashtags like #CMCTrueTeamwork and #StopBeingPabigat to create a sense of community.
In addition to social media engagement, we are running interactive question sessions to gather feedback on students’ experiences with group work. This feedback will not only help shape future campaigns but also ensure that students feel involved in the process.

Through this campaign, we hope to empower students to embrace teamwork and clear communication, ensuring that group work is not a burden but an opportunity for growth. With the right tools and mindset, we believe students can make every group project a success.
