April Drawing day 2: Rapunzel
Not much to say other than this is a piece I’ve had in my head for while. I think it turned out well.

April Drawing has started once again, so this year I’m doing fairy and folktales, maybe a couple myths.
Today’s is “The Fisherman and His Wife.” Couldn’t get much background this time, but I think it turned out fine.

Thumbnails for the first couple days of Inktober. I’m planning to follow the #fairytaleinktober prompts from @dropthedrawings. I want to get some more days thumbnailed ahead of time so I can spend less time figuring it out and more on drawing the pieces.
Doing a similar approach as last year by going with a smaller paper size (5.5 x 7.5) to keep it manageable. Wish me luck!

I’m sorry for the lack of updates. The reason is largely that I haven’t scanned the remaining daily drawings from the last month of the marker challenge, and part of that is because my scanner wasn’t working. I plan to consider my options (connection issues) and try to get some of the most recent stuff scanned and posted.
Some Disney fanart of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and the Classic Six. I had fun drawing each one, following their respective appearance order. You can check out the rest of drawings I did here.
The last three days of Mermay! Phew!

A sampling of my Mermay submissions. You can see all 28 (so far) at my art blog.
Shoutout to people who joined
I wanna leave you all nice comments so here: @yllamse I loved seeing your cute and lively art, your colours are so happy and pretty and you made so many elaborate pieces this month, you just blew me away :D
@the-apiarist I know you might’ve seen my tags but I loved the way you raw hair, your art just looks so soft and I adore the drawings you coloured with a lot of effort, they are Beautiful
@randommarks it was amazing to see you work traditionally and just see what you can do with markers. there’s no ctrl z and it blows me away that you managed to create such pretty things regardless
@meerodi when I see your art it lways makes me happy, I really like how you colour things and the way you draw faces is simply beautiful. your experiments with ink and watercolour turned out great and I hope you ckeep trying those
@howtoben every day you participated it was great to see, I love your lines and how your poses are just so strong? they always have this mood to them?? and I like it. also I really like your style it’s so simple and strong, without trying to add so much sparkle (I love sparkle but I admire your lack of it)
Aww! Thanks!
April Drawing Days 22-30. Another successful year!

April drawing and 30-day marker challenge, days 16-21.
Art blog post
April drawing days 8-15.
Art blog post.
April drawings days 5-7. They are respectively a scaly gastropod (colored with only the chiseled end of the markers), a seahorse colored with only RV markers, and line-less jellyfish/sea jellies (drawn only with markers that end in the number 3).
If you want more thoughts on these and the rest of the first week, check out my art blog.
Day 3 was drawn using on gray Copics, namely cool and warm grays. A tiger shark.
Day 4 is a sea sponge using complimentary colors.
I was able to get this drawn and scanned pretty early today. Day Two and the challenge was three random colors. So this sea slug from imagination uses B02, E74, and R37.
April Drawing is back again, so here is my pic for the first. Also, I’m doing the 30 day marker challenge by @sadynaxart. So that would be one marker, V06.
Did the Inner Senshi/Scouts from Sailor Moon. For more info, check out my art blog post.
