I had a weird dream about Schitt's Creek so buckle up!

David and Ted ended up dating instead of David marrying Patrick, and because of that Alexis was pissed so she stopped talking to David and Ted and went to NYC.

The David Ted relationship went really well, they were supposed to get married but Moira finds out Ted was cheating on David this whole time!

So she tells David and he decides to confront Ted but things don't end up well and Ted un.alives David!

Ted panics and tries to get David to a hospital but has a car crash midway and ends up unconscious! David is sadly lost but... Ted wakes up with a trauma and short memory.

He basically keeps forgetting everything after it happens in 10 to 15 minutes and this condition basically makes him end up jobless and homeless.

Johnny and Moira didn't leave Schitt's Creek after David's death because they were too upset.

Fast forward to a few months later, Johnny and Moira walk in a garden and guess who they see sleeping on a bench? TED! Moira is righteously filled with hatred towards him for what happened to David but Johnny was secretly taking care of him.

He's been buying him food every time he sees him and offer him a place at the hotel which upsetted Moira but Johnny explained that Ted's state is too pitiful and that Ted made David so happy at one point and doing this makes him feel connected to David in a way.

The dream ends with David and Moira sitting on the bench, mourning their loss as a united front.

I don't think there's reason to fret over thr "somberly" subtitle because I believe that's what's actually said. Anita is looking forward to the death scene but somberly because it's a death scene. In related news: The Franchise has been very funny but I am afraid it won't last for more seasons. *knock on wood*

Im not fretting, I genuinely heard it that way and my brain registered it as "so very" instead of "somberly" 😭. I don't think there's gonna be a season two cause the reach is very low everywhere but i do hope they get renewed for another season.

Okay so a tiny rant, I watched Monsters by Ryan Murphy, both the Dahmer and The Menendez series and honestly, it's weird when the actors are getting hate because the writing isn't accurate?

I mean, it's cinematic drama, it's not expected to be accurate, it's supposed to be dramatic and engaging, it's never the source for accurate data regarding the cases.

If you want accurate data, watch a documentary not a cinematic documentary or read about the cases, conduct your own research, don't go for a TV show for it then give the actors shit, the actors aren't the characters, the characters aren't the actors.

Even when portraying a real person, they are not the real person, no matter how well they do their study, they still don't know shit about that real person.

In both series the actors did really great, adding their own touches, they went through a lot to bring the written characters to the screen, it doesn't necessarily mean they support the character's actions (in Dahmer's case at least) and it doesn't mean that they were trying to disrespect the real people involved by portraying what is written.

If you don't like the show, don't watch it, don't support the industry but don't go bullying the actors for it and most importantly, give them time to recover with dignity, these kind of roles are usually traumatizing for them too.

And honestly, anyone who works with Ryan Murphy needs to be sent to a mental resort afterwards cause what the fuck, you can see the life being sucked out of those poor people through the episodes.
