Very conflicted about Shadow & Bone season 2

I thought season 1 of shadow & bone was fairly good. I have read both the book series that it is based on, and while the crows were not originally in the story, I thought the writers did a good job of working both their stories into the show. Season 2 is just a mess plot-wise compared to the books. I have only watched 2 episodes of season 2, so I am hoping it gets better, but in the meantime I need a mini-rant. Might include spoilers for both the books and show. 

First of all, Alina is supposed to find the sea whip with the Darkling (aka General Kirigan. Also hate that he is not referred to as the Darkling). This allows us to see how creative Strumhond is with rescuing Alina and outsmarting the Darkling, something many people wouldn't dare to. What really upsets me about this season is the Crows storyline.

It feels like the writes are skipping the Six of Crows storyline and going right into Crooked Kingdom where the city is against them. It seems like they want to swap Van Eck out for Peka Rollins. It makes this seem like a petty fight against crime lords. In reality, the crows got double sided by Jan Van Eck who is a powerful politician that turns the entire Kerch government against them. Kaz  outsmarts the Kerch, Fjerdan, and Shu Han governments. I really hope this show does them justice and doesn’t skip over some really good parts. I was looking forward to seeing the Fjerdian heist. I also really want Inej to come to terms with that she does not need anyone but herself to be happy and can go sail the sees freeing people.

It's a Friday night and I am all alone while the both of you are out having fun. You are my two closest people. I couldn't go out, so I shouldn't be sad, yet my heart aches seeing you both having fun. Ones at a concert for the music we both like. I can't help feeling like I should be there with you, but you don't seem to think so, at least not long enough to send me a text telling me so. And the other is having fun with the girls, even the ones who I thought were not our friends. Those that have taken so much from me and hurt me in so many ways. But I shouldn't be mad, you are always one for photos, and she is pretty photogenic. So instead of dancing with either one of you, I sit alone, wishing I was there and that things could of been different on a Friday night.

Minor Spiderman Far From Home Spoiler

So one thing that I love about Spiderman: Far From Home is that E.D.I.T.H. stands for Even Dead I Am The Hero, but that then got me thinking. When did Tony create this software. Did he do this in Endgame around the time he filmed his goodbye video before they went back in time? Did he create it before the snap with the intention to give the software to Peter when he was ready and had it names something else?

In How To Train Your Dragon 3, when Hiccup is making Toothless his new tail, Astrid says something along the lines of, “You tried this before. What makes you think he wants it.” (Not sure what the exact quote is.) This breaks my heart because that means Hiccup tried to give Toothless the ability to fly alone, but Toothless choose not to take it, meaning he didn’t want to fly without Hiccup.

I don’t necessarily ship Jon Snow with anyone. I don’t like the idea of him and Sansa Stark being together cause they where raised together, like siblings. I personally find it weir crushing on someone you lived with. I know they aren’t related by blood, but they where raised together as siblings. Idk tho, just weird.

Do you ever wander how many times you cross paths with the same stranger? Maybe you sat next to them at the movies, and they are also a cashier at your favorite store. Or perhaps you always walk by there house when you walk your dog and they were a car beside you at a stoplight?

So I just finished watching BBC’s Merlin and after watching the last episode I went back and watched the first episode of season one. What I realized is that at some point Merlin starts saving Arthur because he wants his friend alive. He no longer saves his life because of destiny, or that he is the King. He does it because he doesn't want to lose his closest friend and that breaks my heart.
