Update on the previously announced LOST-inspired episode of Phineas and Ferb…
Phineas and Ferb is doing a LOST-themed episode — penned by that series’ writer/co-creator Damon Lindelof. Terry O’Quinn, who played John Locke on the 2004-10 ABC drama, will voice Professor Mystery in the Phineas and Ferb episode “Lost In Danville,” which airs September 29.
A mysterious locked capsule falls into Phineas and Ferb’s back yard, and they struggle to open it — only to discover they have unleashed something they cannot control. Meanwhile, Perry learns that Dr. Doofenshmirtz has been abducted and tracks him to Seattle where another evil scientist, Professor Mystery, has his own sinister plan. Jane Kaczmarek and Rob Morrow will voice capsule inhabitants Denise and Bernie. (Deadline)
Filming for ANTMAN, starring Evangeline Lilly and Paul Rudd, is on like Donkey Kong
Filming for ANT-MAN, Marvel’s upcoming superhero film, began this week as Evangeline Lilly posted photos with Paul Rudd from the first day on set.

Rudd stars in the film as Scott Lang, a “petty criminal who acquires an invented substance that allows him to shrink in scale but increase in strength.”
Lilly has been cast as Hope Van Dyne. I couldn’t tell you who that is because I’ve never even heard of this comic book character until this film was announced. John is much more knowledgeable when it comes to this kind of stuff.
However, I do think ANT-MAN looks pretty promising so far. Check out the official Comic-Con panel and get pumped for next summer. The film is scheduled for a July 17, 2015 release, y'all.
In the debut of the Ranking LOST Podcast, Wes, John, Matt and David break down the Season 1 episode rankings, debate a few scores and have a pretty decent time making fun of each other. Enjoy!
So, here's something interesting I came across today during my internet travels. The Internet Movie Firearms Database is apparently a thing, and they have detailed information about guns used in movies, television, video games and more.
Naturally, I checked out their LOST pages and discovered a page devoted to all the Season 2 guns and another to Season 5 guns. They're worth a look, if you're into that kinda thing.
Also, it's pretty clear that someone needs to quit screwing around and create pages for Seasons 1, 3, 4 and 6.
WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR GOD DAMN TOY PLANE, KATE.
OK, that's a bit harsh. But seriously, we're glad to see that storyline come to an end in BORN TO RUN. It's a bit of a snoozer like THE GREATER GOOD, which is odd because most other seasons have great episodes that build toward the finale.
With three scores in, BORN TO RUN holds a 59 and is currently ranked 19th out of 21 total episodes. Pretty bad.
Check out our box score and read Matt's review below!
Matt (54)
Another kind of slow episode, although you get a good feel for Kate’s GTFO mode in this episode. I gave plot, directing and acting 5s because we spend half the damn episode in Iowa, and aside from Jack getting introduced to the hatch and the glorious debut of Artz it was slow going.
I do however love the Locke-Jack continuation. If they said discretion one more time…. Acting I gave a 6 because you gotta love a solid dose of Evangeline Lilly. Legacy and relevancy are mid range because we get more hatch development, and the raft is about ready to float! (WAAAALLLLLTTTT!).
I gave music an 8 because I really dig “Monster ate the pilot”, too bad that drive shaft single never made it out. Drama and romance are 3 and 2 because you get a feeling for Kate’s love lost, nice airbags doc, and Kate and Sawyer have their little tiff over raft privileges.
Sci fi is a 4 because of the creepy Walt scene where he says not to open the hatch, and the “we have to leave” mode, but we don’t really follow up on the “special” deal as we discussed previously.
Action and suspense are low at 2s because aside from the car crash at the end, Kate clocking the guy with a walkie, and Michael’s tum tum hurting it was slow. Finally comedy was a 2 only because Hurley is good at keeping it light. On to Exodus!
