Also about the avid and marm situation, i know its tough rn but remember that we as a community, in vsmp, skyblock, the flight etc, did nothing wrong by loving their work, their characters, their stories.

No matter how many "i told you sos" youll see on twitter or anywhere else, please dont feel like you should've known better when the whole point of the shitstorm is that people got manipulated, intentionally. Youll see the sentiment of "dont idolise content creators" repeated, and it seems so obvious from the get go, but I know it often only hits once something of this severity happens in relation to a creator you love.

It hurts and it sucks and however you decide to react to it is your business and your business alone. Keep creating, keep loving, or take a break, focus on something else entirely, whatever you do, there is no correct or right way to deal with putting so much effort and care into stories of people who hurt others, not when theyre already off the cc sphere anyway.

I know i dont need to give my two cents on this, that it has all been said before, but just yknow. Support circle and a little empathy to my fellow mcyt fan compatriots bc yall are some of the most talented, passionate and creative people ive seen and its so easy to get lost in further discoursauce and let it get to you

once again thinking about Scott refusing to sleep out of the fear of not waking up for centuries. What if he doesn't know he's afraid? He's so used to repressing every single feeling, maybe he just rationalizes his discomfort and inability to sleep with 'well I've got to finish the castle' or 'well I should go hunting now that everyone's asleep' or 'i should make sure the beacons are on our side' or whatever task feels more pending to him.

Maybe the others notice, despite him claiming to be just fine, he'll take a nap later, stop fretting he's perfectly capable don't you dare imply he's weak. But pyro's too scared to ask, and Owen honestly doesn't care that much, and Apo hates him and Cleo keeps a healthy distance and drift is too much of a coward and avid is busy with his manic episode and Shelby. Well. Shelby waits for Scott to be more comfortable, maybe if things calm down she'll get the chance to invite him to a sleepover and he'll open up!

It's only once they leave Oakhurst that they have the chance to ask him at all.

In DH AU, there's a whole scene about Lumberjack sneaking into the von Pyroscythe estate (with the help of Sausage, by the way!) to steal his mother's engagement ring. It's a family heirloom that's been passed down for some time now, and was destined to end up in Pyro's hands. Naturally, there was no chance they'd give it to the one they loved. His parents were simply planning to set Pyro up with another noblewoman when the time came. But Pyro was kicked out of the family and then became part of the polycule, so lol, no, that's not happening. However, it would be a shame of them not to spit in their neglectful parents' faces and take the engagement ring, only to have it end up in the hands of a poor lumberjack. Oh yeah!

It's them after everything, just enjoying themselves :)
