Things I would like to do with a partner

*Go on a walk and make live flower crowns with wildflowers and flowers from weeds/invasive species. Note: abandoned train tracks seem to have a lot of good flowers

*Go around town looking for a good jean jacket to turn into a patch jacket

*Watch a bunch of those cute cooking videos and then try one of the recipes. Optional: get real high beforehand.

*Get up somewhat early (not too early) and go for a walk to get donuts and coffee and look at pretty houses and gardens.

*Go to the local plant nursery and look at all the plants and maybe pick some out.

*Make bouquets of flowers for each other by trying to use what each of the flowers mean to make a message. 

*Hike out somewhere nice to have a picnic. Maybe forage things along the way to add to it.

*Exchange snapchats where each snap is a thing that we like about ourselves. Note: could be a physical thing like eyes/nose/feet, or traits like courage/empathy/etc.

*Give each other topics to make a playlist about, and then exchange and listen.

I thought going through old pictures and posts would make me see how fake it all was and make me feel bad, but it actually was really reaffirming and made me feel a little more sane. Things used to be really different and good, and we both changed a lot. It’s wild how the farther back I went the better I felt and how old feelings of warmth and affection came back really easily. It’s like I’m looking at a totally different person. It’s a good reminder that the hurt that I’m feeling now will eventually go away and hopefully be replaced by new good things.

Listen I know everyone loves making Chewbacca a dog in modern AUs, but please consider as an alternative: Chewbacca, Han’s extremely hairy foreign friend with an accent so thick that only Han understands what he’s saying.
