Television Static
Pairing: The Doctor (Harley Sawyer)/reader (the player)
Summary: while rooting around in the remains of Playtime Co., one is bound to find themselves in danger of pricking themselves with old needles. Unluckily for you, and luckily for Sawyer, said needle contained the perfect dose of sexual desperation. Fun ensues
Or the reader accidentally gets hit with an aphrodisiac and needs the doctor to help her get through it in the dirtiest way possible
Word Count: 1.8k
Warnings: smut (obv), sex pollen/aphrodisiacs, degradation, praise, fingering, thigh riding, grinding, language, needles (not in a sexual way though), unrealistic depictions of chemistry stuff
Sorry this took so long Iâve been trying to pass my finals đ
âWhatâs taking so long?â
âWell, if you helped, Iâm sure I could find it a lot faster.â
Your annoyed statement garnered no reply from the doctor, who was leaning against the wall, eyes flashing with indifference as you scavenged the cabinets for yet another GrabPack hand.
Seriously, how many did the factory workers go through?
âShit!â A small sting to your finger had you cursing, but when your eyes fell on the needle it came from, your momentary pain immediately turned to panic. âOh, shit shit shit shit shit!â
One thing you were absolutely not ready for, was another infection.
Years of scolding parental monologues on the importance of being careful for needles ran through your mind, followed by a multitude of warnings on different blood-borne pathogens.
âWhat is it?â When you didnât respond to his question, which you might have noticed had the tiniest bit of worry lacing through it had you been any less distressed yourself, he walked over and grabbed your arm, eyes narrowing at the tiny bit of blood pooling at the tip of your pinky before giving a sigh. âWhere?â
Ignoring how similar he sounded to an exasperated parent, you used your free hand to point toward your minuscule assailant, which he carefully picked up using an old rag.
Gray eyes examined the contraption, moving from the needle itself to the half broken syringe body connecting to it. Most of the liquid inside had leaked out, but what remained was a deep shade of violet.
And then, he started to laugh.
It was a cruel sound, totally lacking the usual hilarity and lightness of the noise if it came from anyone who wasnât a total psychopath. This kind of glee was wicked, tainted with a sense of mocking amusement that immediately had you anxious.
âW-what is it?â
Your panic didnât seem to quell his amusement, doing just the opposite, in fact, but he calmed down enough to answer you properly, but an unsettling grin of unholy delight stayed. âYouâll be fine. Itâs an aphrodisiac.â
One might have been able to hear your vertebrae cracking with the way your neck snapped to him in shock. âWhy the fuck were you making aphrodisiacs?â
âWe werenât. It was meant to be a potent muscle relaxant, but after a decade of oxidation, the chemicals should have changed enough to activate sexual stimulation hormones.â He shrugged. âAt least, thatâs my best guess based on the base ingredients. I canât really say without the proper equipment.â
You scoffed. âYouâre serious.â
âYep.â This time, it was almost impossible to miss the evil contentment in his response. âSo, I guess weâll just have to wait and see.â
So here you were, stuck yet again, waiting to see if this tiny little object would be what finally took you out.
If it did, you honestly couldnât be mad, the stark hilarity of the situation overwhelming any ounce of anger.
It definitely couldnât do the same for the embarrassment over the other potential outcome.
Honestly, you couldnât tell if the slight heat settling over your form was from that chagrin or the side effects. Your temperature only continued to grow, which didnât really directly hint to whether Sawyer was right versus certain death, so you willfully ignored it, silently almost hoping for the latter.
And then, you began to feel it; A quiet, little bit of extra warmth blooming in the space between your thighs.
âShiiiiit.â
The doctorâs eyes flit over to you at the groan, the corner of his lips quirking slightly. âI take it I was correct, then?â
âFuck off.â
He gave a little hum of satisfaction as you groaned in humiliation.
Shrugging off your jacket, you used it as a thin sheet to lay over your self-proclaimed spot on the floor. Shedding the layer did help slightly, the cool air of the unheated space brushing against your now uncovered arms, but your internal thermometer only seemed to go up as time went on.
The same could be said about the sensation below your abdomen, which grew steadily until what was once a minor annoyance bordered on becoming unbearable. The feeling masqueraded as the beginning of an orgasm, but refused to go any further. It was horribly akin to what edging felt like.
The frustration must have been apparent on your features, prompting your unfortunate partner in crime to pipe up.
âYou look pathetic.â
You tried to ignore his insult, you really did.
But something about it, whether it be the words or the way his voice sounded saying them, sparked a blink of pleasure inside you. Its suddenness had you letting out the tiniest moan.
You just prayed he didnât hear it.
âOh.â
Clearly, you were not that lucky.
The jacket bunched up as you twisted your body to shoot him a glare. âShut up.â
With a smirk you desperately wanted to smack off his face, he did the exact opposite. âYou know, I could help, if you were polite enough to ask.â
âI hate you.â You muttered. âI hate you so fucking much, you pompous, cocky son of a bitch.â
Seemingly enough, your crude words did nothing but increase his amusement, his smile growing as he raised a hand and beckoned you forward. âCome here.â
Despite your best intentions, your gaze trained itself on his fingers, and you soon realized in complete horror that your mouth had begun to water.
Moments passed, allowing desperation to overwhelm pride, and you slowly stood with shaking legs before moving forward to stand in front of where he sat comfortably in a chair. âIâm not a dog.â
âAnd yet, you still obeyed wonderfully.â
The quick retort died on your tongue as he gripped your hips and forced you down onto his lap. The sound that came out of your mouth at the sudden movement had your neck bursting with heated embarrassment.
Line of sight trained on the floor, you tried your best to ignore how you could feel the muscles of his legs underneath yours, even through the thick fabric of his pants. âWell?â
âWell, what?â He cocked an eyebrow, even if he appeared to know far before asking. âOh, did you want me to touch you?â
No answer was given.
âThis wasnât what I was promised, little germ. I said Iâd help if you asked.â
âYouâre-â the rest of your statement melted into another groan of vexation, but you failed to move, hoping the fury behind your features was enough to convey how much you hated the notion.
If you had to wait this entire thing out like this, so be it.
Unfortunately, it seemed as though your desires thoroughly disliked complying with logic.
Almost unconsciously, you started to roll your hips against his own, giving a small sigh of relief at the small amount of pleasure you found in the endeavour. That silent delight only continued as you felt him harden beneath you, the growth alone only furthering your need.
Still, it was never enough.
The high taunted you, forcing you to dangle off the edge of ecstasy, every muscle in your body tensing as you begged it to move just an inch forward and completely fall into bliss. And yet, it refused, a denial that almost seemed crueler than that of your freedom hours ago.
âDammit.â
âDoes someone need more? What a greedy little thing you are.â A chuckle sounded above you. âIâm waiting.â
âFuck, I-â Swallowing your pride, you continued. âPlease, touch me.â
âLook at me.â Gripping your chin gently, he tilted your face upward. âNow say it again.â
âPlease, Sawyer.â You begged, the sound nearly a whimper of pure desperation.
Something flashed behind those gray irises when you said his name, something you couldnât place.
Whatever it was, it was enough, and he brushed a thumb across your clothes clit.
Almost as if his touch alone was what your body was begging for, you lurched forward in delight.
âSomeoneâs sensitive." He grinned wickedly, sneaking his hand beneath the fabric to nudge you slit.
Effortlessly, he dipped a finger into you, pumping it at a steady pace before following with another, making sure to keep his thumb trained to your clit in a tortuously slow rotation. His efforts, much to his delight, were rewarded by a blatant whine.
"Good girl." He praised, the compliment horrendously addictive for how uncharacteristic it was. "Now say my name again."
Pleasure coursed through your body with each thrust, the chord growing tighter until it was just whispered stroke away from breaking.
"Sawy-"
Despite his own order, you were silenced with a curl of his fingers, the final syllable of his name dissolving into a low groan.
His free hand pushed under the hem of your shirt, exploring your skin like it was some foreign treasure before wandering upward. His fingers skimmed the top of your breast, pulling it out of your bra to knead to supple flesh. The light pinch of your nipple spurred another aroused exhale.
His established rhythm began to quicken, fueled by pure desire to see you melt. Every kiss to your cervix had you steadily growing closer, filling you to the brim with pleasure that you internally begged to spill over.
It wasn't long before you were unraveling on his hand, already close from the aphrodisiac itself. The coil in your stomach snapped, offering a release that had your vision flickering.
One final push had you tipping over, the cruel ecstasy finally hitting its peak.
Euphoria flooded over every crevice of your body. It lasted longer than any orgasm you could remember having, the pleasure continuing to build in a way that had you writing across Sawyerâs lap.
He didnât stop either, continuing his work even as watched you reach your high.
Mindlessly, your hands wrapped around his head, nails digging into the dark strands of his hair and searching for respite.
Except for a low groan, that of which had you whining louder, he didnât protest, even lowered his chin slightly to give you better access.
Finally, the thrill began to fade away, followed by the slowing movements of the doctor.
In the midst of senseless bliss, you took notice of the way the atmosphere seemed to normalize. Your previously smoldering body soon regained its usual temperature, chilled by the unheated room.
Your heart was coming down from acceleration too. The only word that was adequate to describe the feeling was that of pure relief.
Exhaustion had your form feeling like putty, and you ignored the slowly growing thoughts of self-respect before letting your head drop onto his shoulder.
The hand previously underneath your shirt moved to your ass to rest, the position almost possessive. You allowed it to stay there until he ushered a quick squeeze, the action pulling another whimper from you.
He chuckled at the sound.
âYou suck.â The statement was more of a sigh than anything properly spoken, your breathing still far from under your control.
âI do.â He replied with surprising acceptance and a devious expression. âI guess weâll have to try that out next time.â
Eyes narrowed, you watched his face in attempts to decipher the undoubtedly vulgar message behind his statement.
Try that out next-
When you finally did, you pushed away from him, the next breath caught in your throat as you sputtered in flusterment. âThere wonât be a next time!â
Summary: He had told you. Flat out. Point blank. You should have listened.

Based on this prompt I found on Pinterest 𩶠might do smth similar again, so if you have a character or prompt youâd like to see, make sure to hit those requests up!
This wasnât the first time that you had dealt with Dabi. As a lower tiered hero, it wasnât surprising that you had been assigned to watch over the newest big wig in Tartarus in more than a few instances. After a few weeks of the blue flame villainâs incarceration, the novelty of the task had worn off.
The unease, however?
Still fresher than youâd like.
Those weird looks had started on day one.
The moment you had walked through the door, shutting it behind you and letting the deadbolt click, he had seemed to have completely zeroed in on you. His glance had started off almost contemplative, soon melting into what one could only describe as predatory.
A self-deprecating part of yourself wondered if it was because he had picked you out to be the weak link among your peers. Seeing as you had been paired with a plethora of other pros, some well underneath your own rank, for watch duty, the notion was extremely insulting.
You would much rather deal with insulting than creepy, though, so you had settled on that theory.
With the number 2 here as well today, you were thankfully able to more or less zone out as you counted down the hours until you would be relieved.
âLet me go.â
Lifting your gaze, you stood silent, stunned at Dabiâs blatant arrogance more than anything else.
Hawks seemed equally as baffled, chuckling in astonishment. âI appreciate the request, but I donât think itâs gonna happen.â
âI wasnât talking to you.â The both of you blinked in surprise, but Dabiâs line of sight was trained on you. âIâm serious. Iâll get out one way or another.â
âIs that right?â Even you were surprised at the steady, almost amused tone of your voice.
He merely nodded. âAnd if you donât let me out now, Iâll make sure to find you.â
âHey, flames for brains.â Hawks snapped, grabbing the attention of both of you. âLeave her alone.â
The dark haired man didnât respond.
You stayed quiet too, the gravity of his words hanging heavy on your mind. Still, you tried not to let him get to you.
It was a threat.
Nothing more.
Minutes passed and you heard the winged hero suck in through his teeth when he pulled out his phone.
âShit,â he cursed. âAh, I gotta run. Will youâŚâ
With a small smile of reassurance, you waved him off. âDo what you need to do.â
âYouâre amazing. Iâll send someone up to replace me.â
And then, he was gone, leaving the both of you completely alone.
With a sigh, you slouched further down into your chair, fully expecting another few hours of boredom filled wall-staring.
âI wasnât lying.â
Okay, maybe not.
Without a proper hero, you werenât supposed to engage with him. Merely watch, guard, just alert enough to keep an ear out for any blabbered information that could be important.
Still, pure curiosity had the rational part of your brain muffled.
It had been days without any sort of valuable information, whether it be about the Leagueâs intentions or the whereabouts of its other members. This could very well be your only chance.
Swallowing, you forced your tone to be steady, uncaring. âAbout?â
âAbout what will happen if you donât let me go.â His hands, suspended over his head in cuffs, twitched. âBecause I will get out.â
Despite your best attempts, a smile of amusement pulled at your mouth. âIs that so? Pretty ballsy for a guy chained up in prison.â
You expected him to lash out in anger at the comment, maybe even show some aspect of hurt. To your utter surprise, he mirrored your grin. His, however, held something more than amusement. Malice laced the space behind his eyes, that bright blue digging into your flesh like the flames their owner wielded.
The expression almost had you feeling like a mouse trapped in a cage with a snake, even if he was the one tied up.
âYouâre pretty ballsy too, considering that winged idiot left us alone. And I wouldnât be so quick to assume, sweetheart.â
The pet name had you grimace. âDonât call me that.â
âIâll call you whatever I want.â The edges of his lips quirked up further in satisfaction of your vexed response. âBecause, like I said, when I get out, Iâll find you. And Iâll take you. Iâll make sure that pretty, little ass of yours never sees the light of day again.â
âI-â
âIâll break you, doll.â
Regardless of your respective amounts of freedom, the statement had your chest pounding.
Well, maybe it wasnât just the statement.
It was how much conviction it was said.
The lock on the door clicked open, breaking the tension and allowing Kamui Woods to slip through. The replacement hero glanced between the both of you. âYou okay?â
You swallowed with unease, tearing your gaze away. âFine.â
When you mentioned the event to Hawks, he had offered you a reassuring look. Somehow, that recognizably easy-going grin didnât quite meet his eyes.
âDonât let him get in your head. A guy like him doesnât deserve to be there.â
You had met his smile with an equally-uncertain one of your own, muttering a polite thanks before going home for the day.
Weeks passed without a hitch.
It seemed that Hawks had been kind enough to talk to some of the other heroes, effectively getting you moved off prison-watch duty. From what you had heard, Dabi hadnât said anything about your sudden leave, or anything in general, but you couldnât exactly shake the feeling of those cerulean eyes burning into your skin.
Steam billowed into the bathroom when you cracked open the shower door and slipped through. It gilded the surfaces in a dewy sheen, settling over the tile in a way that threatened to take your feet out from underneath you if you werenât careful enough. Maybe, if you had been just a smidgen more exhausted than you already were from such a taxing work day, you might have. Thankfully, whatever remnants of your energy you had left had been enough to keep you standing.
Now all ready for bed, you shuffled into the living room and flicked the television on, hoping for some ambient noise while you cooked dinner. Well, cooked was a strong word, seeing as all you really did was puncture a few pieces of plastic and toss a frozen dish into the microwave. The soft, dull buzz of radiating heat filled the space, fractured only by the quiet chime of the nightly newscast that had followed you into the kitchen.
Although quiet, you were still coherent enough to collect some pieces, such as the latest political scam or the dramatic melody signaling-
â-breaking news. Weâve have word of a breakout in Tartarus.â
That sure got your attention.
Slippered feet sprinted back into the living room, adrenaline-filled hand shooting out to take the remote and shoot the volume upward into double digits.
â-is among the escapees, with the most notable being a significant figure in the notorious criminal group the League of Villains, publicly known as Dabi.â
Panic shot through your chest when his mugshot flashed on the screen.
Oh fuck
Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck
The newscasters messages for anyone in the nearby area to evacuate fell on deaf ears.
There was no way he was coming to get you now, right?
In the grand scheme of things, you were absolutely nothing, basically an afterthought in comparison to the infamous blue flame-
The lights went out.
Ran would have been an understatement, much too complimentary to how you were actually moving, despite years of hero training that had molded you into peak agility.
Maybe scrambled was better.
Yes, you scrambled back into the kitchen, blindly rifling around in the darkness until your knee smashed into the island. The contact had you biting back a groan at the blooming pain, but you continued searching, nearly sighing in relief when your hand finally curled around the plastic of your phone case. Pulling it forward, you practically smashed your finger into the screen, eagerly awaiting for that recognizable blue light to assault your senses.
While it didnât, you began to freak out even more, repetitively pressing the on switch in hopes that maybe, this time, it would work.
âHaving trouble there, hero?â
With a gasp, you spun around in horror, the trepidation only growing when you were met with a pair of glowing, cerulean eyes gleaming in the dimness.
By now, your senses had slightly acclimated to the lack of light, allowing you to grip onto one of the knives sticking out of block and swing it out in front of you.
But you werenât stupid.
It wouldnât do anything against him.
And neither would your quirk.
Unfortunately, he seemed just as aware, raising an eyebrow at your pitiful attempt in amusement. âYou seriously didnât think to prepare anything? How stupid are you?â
When he took a step forward, you shoved the blade in his direction, hoping that the heat behind your tone would make up for how pathetic you felt. âBack off.â
A smile graced his lips and he held his hands up in a mocking surrender.
âI told you I would get out. I warned you what would happen if you didnât let me go.â His words sent shivers down your spine. âDidnât I?â
Within an instant, whatever faux friendliness he offered slipped away and he lunged at you, quickly taking your arm. His thumb dug into your wrist, pressing into the joint enough to make you drop the knife and grit your teeth in pain. The sudden onslaught made it easy for him to get you on the ground, completely defenseless as he stood over you.
âDidnât I?â Almost like he was inspecting you, he tilted his head in expectance, the question holding a touch more power than the last.
Swallowing, you forced your eyes up to meet his, regretting it almost immediately when you nearly flinched under the heat of his gaze. âYes.â
âAnd what did I tell you was gonna happen when I got out?â
âYou said that you wouldâŚâ you swallowed. âThat youâd find me.â
âKeep going, sweetheart.â
You bit back a glare at the nickname. âAnd you would take me. And youâd make sure I would never see the light of day again.â
âAndâŚâ It almost sounded like he was bored.
âAnd you would break me.â The vile words were bitter on your tongue.
âThere we go.â A hideously wicked grin broke out upon his features. âI figured you would remember.â
âAnd yetâŚâ He idly picked up the knife, trailing the tip of the weapon gently up your exposed thigh before continuing. âThis is all you have to offer. Really?â
âI told the other heroes about what you said. Theyâre probably on their way now.â
A lie
Even if they knew, the pros were far too preoccupied to be worrying about you.
Apparently, Dabi was well aware of that.
When he carelessly tossed the blade away, you flinched, a reaction that had the edges of his lips quirking.
âSo,â he stood up. âyou gonna come peacefully or are we gonna have a problem? I really donât mind putting you in your place if I have to.â
âFuck you.â
âOh, I figured weâd save that for when we get to my place.â After taking a moment to relish in your expression his comment garnered, he swiveled on his heels. âLetâs go.â
When he started to walk towards the front door, you jumped back to your feet. Shaking hands wrapped around the knife once more.
Without turning back, he stopped, knowing that you had yet to comply with his order. âWanna guess why most heroes choose to live alone?â
You waited for him to continue, not wanting to play into whatever game he had chosen. But after a while, even the silence became too much for you to bear, the unsettling feeling prompting an answer. âPrivacy?â
âClose.â This time, he did rotate his body to face you, a horrific kind of amusement burning in his gaze. âItâs so when people like me come to kidnap them, the villains canât threaten their neighbors as collateral damage.â
Your heart sunk.
With a breath, you took a sigh and put the blade on the counter before walking over to him. You avoided his eyes, hoping he might not see the pure terror blazing within your own.
Regardless, he smirked, an horribly arrogant look of satisfaction. âThatâs what I thought.â
Pulling a phone out of his pocket, he pressed a few buttons and muttered âKurogiriâ into a call.
The moment he said the name, a giant burst of violent cracked open into your living room, the purple article crackling in front of you.
Unconsciously, the writhing mass had you take a small step backward, the mindless movement inducing your assailant to click his tongue.
Hiiii i see you do some harley stuff recently and i thought i'd join in! May i request harley x reader/player (sfw, kinda platonic-ish..?) Where he saves us from one of his robot clone thingies? (I KNOW THEY WORK AND DO STUFF ONLY ON HIS COMMAND SINCE THEY'RE LIKE PUPPETS BUT LETS JUST PRETENDDD maybe one of them is broken or somethingđ) like the clone chases us and the doctor sees it in the cameras and he's confused bc he didn't command it so he "reluctantly" saves us (im srry this is so specificđĽ˛)
I did a little bit of tsundere Harley Sawyer so lmk what you guys think of it ;)
He would definitely only save you because he wanted to be the one to kill you. Couldnât let some rogue piece of metal show him up.
For sure.
Absolutely no other reason.
Over the years, heâd had one or two other robots malfunction, causing them to deviate from his control and start going after anything that moved. It was mildly annoying, sure, but this was the first time he actually found himself actually caring about the outcome of the situation.
Grumbling, he would sigh in vexation as he watched as you sprinted across the factory, your image flicking through the security cameras that he operated. You wove through fallen machinery and remains, looking back every so often at the droid chasing you with fear clearly visible across your face.
It was adorable.
Adorably pathetic, of course.
Thatâs what he meant.
He would give a sigh, a comedic attempt at saving face, seeing as he was the only one in the room to convince that he didnât care about whether or not you died. Then, he would (maybe not-so) reluctantly, get up and start making his way toward you, employing the footage that he had watched you scurry across moments ago.
When he actually got to you, the robot had started to catch up, your puny human body starting to grow tired after what seemed like ages of running.
After rolling his eye in overly apparent exasperation, he approached the both of you, watching as your face twisted in a mix of what looked to be horror, and then confusion when he turned his attention to your assailant.
Obviously, the deceptive collection of hardware was no match for him, possessing no aspect of intelligent thought save for the little bits of fractured code that might have survived the deviation process.
Moments later, it was nothing but another few chunks of scraps for someone to trip on, a far cry from his soldier-like beings that could be found over the factory.
He turned back to you, expression still showing your shock much too easily. When you opened your mouth to speak, it didnât seem like you had much planned.
Quite pitiful, really.
âI, uh⌠thank yo-â
âStop.â
Even if he towered over you, still possessing the same form that had seemed to terrify you so minutes before, you still scoffed in annoyance when he cut you off.
You really were quite stupid, werenât you?
You had absolutely no idea who you were sassing, completely oblivious as to what he could do to you.
And that was how Harley Sawyer became your unofficial body guard.
Because how could he properly torture and kill you if some other imbecile got there first? It was obvious that he had to make sure you survived long enough to meet a properly heinous death at his own hands.
What about an angst to comfort for your television static series? You can do it however you like I'm just a sucker for angst and Harley sawyer hihi ^^ I love your writing btw pls make more! đđđ
Oooooh I LOVE angst!! Do you have anything specific in mind?
And thank you so much for the request!! I love gettin them for Harley đĽ°
Okay okay so I just did a Harley Sawyer/Reader sickfic with some fluff and I really liked it, but it got me thinking about the darker (probably more realistic) version, where the doctor is MUCH more of an asshole who probably gets off on how much the player is struggling đŤś
Warnings for needles, some more mentions of wounds and gory medical stuff, Sawyer himself is a plethora of warnings (sadism, dacryphilia, and just being an ass)
Obviously heâd have to tie you down.
To keep you from moving too much while he worked, of course.
Though, when he actually did restrain you, it wasnât exactly needed at the time. You would indeed get to the point where the pain was too much to keep still, but you were far from it at that moment.
When you did get there, however, it was bad.
The fever had you delirious, but it wasnât enough to dull the fiery sting coursing over you. When Sawyer poured the saline solution on your wound, you couldnât help but bite out a fractured cry as pain ripped through your abdomen.
It got worse from there, especially when he said he would have to remove some of the infected material.
Every movement from his end had you shrieking.
He seemed annoyed when he rolled his eyes at you, but that couldnât have been farther from the truth. Every scream and whimper was ecstasy in audible form.
Still, maybe to hide his enjoyment, or just another excuse to put his hands on you, he forced his palm over your mouth, nearly sighing in pleasure when one of your tears slipped over his pinky finger.
Finally, he backed away, grabbing a syringe and filling it with a few milligrams of antibiotics.
He couldnât help but noticed the way your eyes widened when he approached, pupils widened in fear as they zeroed in on the needle.
âWill it help?â
Fuck
You sounded so gloriously desperate.
So needy.
So scared.
If he had any less self-control, he might have taken you then and there.
Instead, he shrugged, slightly hoping the indifference might increase the anxiety beating through your chest. âSome. It might hurt less, but it will still hurt.â
The response was honest, but he couldnât help enjoy the way it had you biting your tongue in nervousness.
Nor could he help but enjoy the way you attempted to pull away when he got near, fruitlessly pulling against the leather resistants as he easily gripped your throat in his hand, pulling you towards his chest and forcing the end of the needle into your neck.
And there you were.
Writhing on the examination table, so small and pitiful and pathetic.
It was beautiful.
For someone who had paraded themselves around the factory like they owned the place, it was more than satisfying seeing you reduced to this by his own hand.
Who knew?
Maybe he would try to be nicer once you got better, seeing as nothing but a weak little creature beneath that confident, feisty exterior.
Maybe heâd hold back teasing you about the way you had begged for mercy, begged him to help you while simultaneously pleading for him to stop.
if u need short random ideas for Television Static, iâm a sucker for sickfic type vibes. especially when both individuals involved are stubborn asf and lowkey have animosity towards one another n are forced to look after the other. the player being trapped in playtime co for days, suffering multiple injuries (especially at the end of chapter 5) is definitely prone to some form of high fever due to serious infections. and well, theyâre currently in the presence of a very skilled doctor :p they do need each other afterall
u dont have to do this prompt, just an idea thatâs here if u wanna do it! love ur writing
Iâm obsessed with sickfics and I love you for this

You felt like you were on drugs.
Obviously, you had never actually taken any, a fact that you were very grateful for. Goodness knows how awful it would have been to experience a withdrawal in a place like this.
And while you were happy not to be in that situation, you were also more than aware that something was wrong. On a bodily level, of course, not just the âgiant toy company experimenting on kids and turning them into plushiesâ type deal. That was blazingly apparent.
As was the quiet heat starting to grow in your temple. As was the heavy lethargy that had been building in your limbs for the past hours. And the way your head hurt if you looked into a light that was just a touch too bright.
Your solution?
Ignore it.
While potentially not the best idea, the alternative was much more unattractive.
There was absolutely no world in which you would ask Harley Sawyer, the same guy who tried to kill you multiple times, for help.
Said guy was unfortunately still with you, trailing behind like an overgrown shadow as you journeyed through the maze of debris and rubble.
If he noticed your symptoms, he didnât say anything, a fact that you were quite grateful for. Yet, you couldnât help feel like he was studying you, those gray eyes piercing into your back like the Prototypeâs hand had hours ago.
In all honesty, you couldnât exactly decide which one was worse.
By now, your footsteps had gotten heavier too, each one slightly sloppier than the last. A stride forward had your toe catching on a fallen piece of concrete, the contact making you falter and start to fall.
With a sigh, you internally prepared yourself for yet another bruise, just one more to add to the staggering large collection you had obtained recently.
It was odd. Days ago you might have cared, but now, putting the energy into saving yourself felt much too tiresome.
Maybe, once you got down to the floor, you could just lay there for a bit. Close your eyes for a few moments even.
Yeah, that sounds niceâŚ
But before you were allowed to dive into the sweet, not so soft solace of the ground, a hand wrapped around your forearm, effectively pulling you back up to your feet. The action had soreness shooting up your bicep and you grit your teeth, hoping the reaction was small enough to hide.
âHow isnât that you havenât died yet? You canât even walk properly.â
The judgement bleeding out of Sawyerâs comment had you rolling your eyes. âAnd I still beat your ass regardless, so what does that say about you?â
Sawyer clicked his tongue as you pulled your wrist from his grasp. âYou know, a proper âthank youâ would suffice. What is it that I told you about being more polite? Would you like a reminder, little germ?â
Somehow, you started to feel even more warm than you already were. With your eyes glued to the floor that you had nearly faceplanted on moments ago, you mumbled a quick- âNo⌠Thank you.â
âAh, so you do listen.â
If you had any more energy, you would have socked him in the face right then and there.
Instead, you continued on, grumbling internally to yourself.
Stupid factory
Stupid clutter
Stupid man
The heat still present in your face had you even more angry, the notion of how much his words affected you making your fists clench. You nearly cried for joy when you came across a little room, devoid of any hostile enemies and complete with a nice, little sink in the corner.
By the time you actually got there, however, the world had started to melt a bit. A few steps away from the counter, your vision fizzled with darkness and you quickly gripped the granite enough to keep yourself standing, hoping that the tiny limp went unnoticed by Sawyer.
Thankfully, the man in question seemed fine with letting you take a break, propping himself up with one of the desk chairs, as if he was much too important to be sitting on the ground.
The cold water felt like heaven on your skin. Though, it wasnât enough to have you completely distracted.
Once more, you could feel the doctorâs gaze probing your back.
âIf youâre gonna be creepy, can you at least make it a little less obvious?â You asked without looking at him, humming in satisfaction when he didnât push back with a witty retort.
Eyes flicking upward, you noticed the cabinet sitting above the sink. Its presence had you wondering if there was anything medicinal to lessen the ache pounding through your skull.
It was high, prompting you to lift your heels and strain your arms upward to reach properly.
The action was something that you didnât think twice about. Of course, you might have, if you considered the stretch would cause the hem of your shirt to lift up ever so slightly.
âWhat is that?â
âWhat is what- hey!â You gasped as Sawyer grabbed both of your wrists between one of his hands, clearly expecting you to fight back against the sudden onslaught, and using the other to grab the bottom part of your top. âGet off, you asshole!â
Hissing, you grimaced as he lifted the fabric, revealing the horrendous wound hiding underneath. The mere sight of it, blistered and swelling in some places, had you shutting up in concern.
Couldnât say the same for him, however.
âHow the fuck are you still alive?â
âMy charming personality and unbelievable determination. Plus this weird shock stick thing that Giblet was carrying around.â Whatever was happening clearly had you feeling loopy. More than enough to simultaneously give your words far too much lightness for the situation and having you suddenly foggy on certain terminology. âI think it cat⌠cata-whateverâd it.â
âCauterize. Youâre thinking of the word cauterize.â
âDonât patronize me.â
Sawyer pinched the bridge of his nose and inhaled before pointing to what appeared to be an examination table. âLay down.â
âDonât order me around.â
âLay down.â
The sternness in his voice had you freezing.
You werenât scared of him.
Definitely not
On the contrary, it merely would be a lot easier to get through this without him continuously bitching about your apparent lack of self-preservation skills. The desire to avoid that outcome, among some other things, had you complying, trudging over to the examination table, wincing as you pushed yourself up onto the surface.
If Sawyer noticed the pain the endeavour had put upon you, he said nothing, just watching in impatient expectance.
Once confident that you would actually stay put, he turned and walked over to the cabinet, the same one that had got you into this mess.
Annoyance had you grumbling when he was able to reach the contents with ease.
Your eyes widened when he pulled out a bottle and started walking back to you. âWhat is that?â
âSaline. I need to sanitize your wound before applying the antibiotic.â He seemed to take notice of your weary gaze settling on the container, his voice lowering to take on a mocking lilt. âWhat? Scared? Do you want to hold my hand?â
âYou wish-â
Pain ripped through your abdomen as he poured the concoction over the injury. Unconsciously, your fingers moved to find something to grip on. It wasnât until the harsh sting subsided that you noticed they had actually ended up finding Sawyerâs forearm. Your cheeks warmed and you quickly withdrew your touch. Despite the red indents your nails left behind, he seemed more than pleased by your reaction.
Still, he said nothing, silently moving back to grab another bottle, what you correctly presumed to be that antibiotic he was talking about.
Thankfully, the discomfort definitely wasnât as bad this time, but it was still enough to have you gritting your teeth and giving a low whine.
The pain had you failing to notice the way that the sound had his eyes widening slightly.
He used his free hand to adjust his belt.
Yet another thing left unnoticed by you.
You were far too preoccupied with watching the way he worked with you. It was awfully meticulous, the way he finished applying the medicine over your injury, then bandaging it up, his movements uncharacteristically gentle enough to have you forgetting how awful it had felt at first.
Of course, you would never say it out loud, or maybe even admit it to yourself, but it did have your heart jumping.
Because of this, the moment he finished bandaging your torso, you attempted to sit up.
âAlright⌠we should head out the-â
âAbsolutely not.â When you opened your mouth to protest, he interrupted once more. âYou have a fever. Youâre delirious. Do you really think I want to drag you around like this?â
While the idea of forcing him to deal with your falling all over the place did seem slightly funny, it still had you biting your tongue. âHalf an hour. Then we leave.â
âFine.â
Unfortunately, you could have said ten minutes and he probably would have agreed. At this point, your symptoms had worsened enough to suck away any semblance of time you might have had in this purgatory. He, of course, was well aware of this, absentmindedly muttering a ânot yetâ every time you asked if half an hour had passed.
You could barely move. The world turned into a pile of mush every time you sat up too fast, and the one time you tried standing, Sawyer was, yet again, the only thing that kept you from face planting onto the floor.
It was humiliating.
But at the moment, you couldnât exactly find it in yourself to care.
Instead, you focused on the way your eyelids would shoot fireworks off every time you looked at a lamp before blinking.
When a shadow came over to interrupt your light show, you glanced up in annoyance.
The doctor scoffed, holding up a roll of gauze. âJust redoing your bandages.â
That in itself clearly illustrated that it had probably been longer than half an hour.
Oh, well
You allowed him to lift your shirt again, watching closely as he began to unwrap your bindings.
âWow.â Your voice had him pausing slightly, cocking an eyebrow in confusion in prompts for you to continue. Alas, you did just that. âYouâre pretty.â
Before continuing on, the corners of his lips tugged slightly into a smirk. âIs that so?â
The nod you gave was far too fast, the movement making you squint in pain. âYou have pretty hands.â
Well, you werenât wrong.
They were longer and slender, a doctorâs hands, with just the right amount of veins coursing over the back of them.
You couldnât help but imagine how they had felt inside you hours earlier.
âDid you drug me or something?â Your words had started to slur together slightly, making the inquiry seem incredibly realistic to an outside viewer. âI think you drugged me. So that Iâd be more likely to let you do more⌠things.â
Apparently, whatever incoherence you were experiencing didnât keep you from feeling shy about earlier, a fact that had Sawyer thoroughly amused. âI wouldnât need drugs to make you want to fuck me. Youâve already made that more than apparent.â
Dammit
Just the mere sound of him saying the word fuck had your chest spiking in excitement.
Were your standards truly that low?
Funnily enough, it seemed that the you coated with fever-induced delirium was just as similar to the you without, the attempts to hide the warmth creepy up your neck with denial and angered honesty ever present. âYou piss me off.â
âSo Iâve heard.â He finished wrapping the bandages. âUnfortunately for you, you need me.â
âI do not need you.â
âSeeing as you probably would have died of an infection otherwise, Iâd disagree.â
You were about to bite back once more, but his words had you worried. âWas I actually gonna die?â
âAt some point, yes. Do you seriously think you wouldnât have gotten some contagion? Here? With the injuries you have?â
You chose to ignore the way his tone made it sound like you were stupid.
âWhy didnât you just let it happen? I think that it would be pretty good rev-â He flicked your forehead before moving to throw away the used gauze, effectively cutting you off and making you squint in pain.
âGo to sleep. Weâll leave in half an hour.â
Rubbing at your temple, you completely overlooked that last part, instead focusing on another round of vexed grumbling. âYouâre so mean.â
Grey eyes flashed back to meet yours, his mouth curling in a teasing grin. âAnd I think you like that.â
Okok but imagine if the player and the doctor (Harley Sawyer) DATED before everything went down and their first time seeing each other in YEARS is like thisâŚ
(This is just a random one-shot thatâs completely separate from my Television Static series :) however I am currently working on more chapters for that as well) đ
Pretty short and no warnings for this one! More fluff than the doctor could ever hope to canonically deserve but oh well
âNow whatâs this? Do I feel something squirming its way beneath my skin? An invasive, foreign little germ?â
Panic had your breathing quicken as you laid eyes on the newest enemy in front of you. By now, you half-expected the taunting dialogue to be paired with a grotesque amalgamation of whatever toy Playtime Co had been promoting a decade ago.
It didnât take long, however, for that horror to melt into confusion, then curiosity, the emotion causing you to speak before you had time to really think it over. âYou sound familiar.â
The eye on the screen narrowed, as if it was scrutinizing you, looking for familiarity hiding within the darkened room. Seconds later, it opened wide, followed by the grainy, surprised sound of your own name echoing through the speakers.
The recognition, along with the notion that this entity recognized you, had you pausing, just long enough for you to place where you had heard that voice before.
âHarley?!â
âYouâve got to be joking.â The entity sighed, a sound that you had heard numerous times before. âYes, itâs me.â
âI⌠I thought-â Pure shock had you scrambling for words, yet all of your exploration was met with unintelligible blabber. Therefore, you settled for something easy to interpret. âWhat the fuck?â
Regardless of your lacking experience in the world of reanimation and shoving human souls into little toys, although many would argue by this point you had a lot more than the average Joe, you did a fairly good job of understanding Harleyâs explanation of what happened to him.
Even if you had trouble really believing it at first.
âSo youâre not behind a microphone or anything. Thatâs,â you motioned to the television screen, âyou.â
âUnfortunately.â
Blinking in bewilderment, you swallowed. âWow⌠thatâs a lot.â
âYou think?â
Biting your tongue, you held back a comment about the apparently persistent sass, regardless of the change in appearance.
Minutes later, he had transferred, or whatever technical jargon described the shift, into one of his bots after a refusal to leave you on your own. Something about how sure he was sure of your undeniable death the moment he let you out of his sight, despite your debates about how far into the factory you had already journeyed.
You shouldnât have been all that surprised, however, seeing as his personality was always just as sparklingly stubborn as it was while you were dating.
Well, dating was a fairly strong word. While the both of you had technically been an âitemâ for a prolonged period of time, it had been splintered by a few separations that were pushed by you, those which you were discussing right now.
Wonderful timing.
Discussing was also a strong well, it seemed.
âNo, I broke up with you that last time because you were being crazy possessive.â You argued, already started to get annoyed. âI got a single compliment, just one, from someone and you had the dude working nights for weeks!â
âDeserved.â
âAnd then the poor guy went missing and I felt so-â Pausing mid-sentence, you allowed the gore-coated gears to fall into place. âDid you⌠did you do something to him?â
The lack of any response, whether it be a denial or affirmation, was enough for you.
âDid you kill Simon?â
âI did not kill that moron. In fact, without me, he would have died during the hour of joy regardless. Heâs probably rotting away somewhere around Safe Haven. Shame you missed him back there.â
âYou-â A mix of guilt, anger, and shock had you groaning. âYouâre such an ass.â
âAnd yet, you always seem to come crawling back. I bet if I hadnât been turned into this, you would have the same thing again.â
The statement had you frowning.
Only because of how arrogant he was.
Not because he was correct.
Not at all
Obviously, you had no clue what his work actually entailed, you never would have given him the time of day if you did, but his title as a Playtime executive was what initially had you interested in the first place. That was mostly limited to curiosity though, confusion as to why someone of his importance would take notice of an intern.
You were completely shocked to find yourself dating said executive months later.
Intoxicating was one word to describe him.
Harley Sawyer was like an addiction. He was horrendously possessive, weaving his way into every aspect of your life, even the places that you had locked off. Things like that were what pushed you to leave him more than once, followed by internal promises that this was the last time you would ever let him in. But somehow, he always had you coming back again and again, despite your best interests.
And he was well aware of this.
Which made it a whole lot worse.
Unease settled over you, small traces of guilt magnified by the silence of the factory, save for the soft padding of your feet and quiet mechanical sound of his own.
âI did try to look for you when you went missing. Mr. Pierre was always being so rude when I pushed for an investigation. Guess now I know why.â
He huffed. âDonât call him that. That traitor doesnât deserve the honorific.â
âOh, is somebody jealous?â
Nothing new there
A scoff sounded out through the speakers, followed by a few statements of you being just as ridiculous as he remembered.
âDonât you worry. The asshole fired me a week before I was supposed to get a promotion. Some bullcrap about stealing company supplies.â You paused on the realization of what he might have thought you to be insinuating. âNot that Iâd give you another chance, either way.â
That first part had you stopping.
Fired.
On a completely unfounded claim.
Mere days before the Hour of Joy.
âWas that you too?â
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â
There were a lot of things that Harley was good at, with very few that he wasnât. One of which, however, might have been hiding how far he would actually go to protect you.
âI⌠thanks.â
âI said I donât know what youâre talking about,â he grumbled.
The defiance had you smiling slightly. âAww, such a softy.â
âWatch it, brat.â
The name, even while fractured with television static, had you freezing. It was a term you had heard many times, but the most memorable were definitely those in which had been accompanied with heavy breathing and the quiet knock of a bedframe against the wall.
To put it plainly, the sex was another aspect of your relationship that made him worth breaking your self-inflicted promises of sobriety.
Yet another thing that he was well aware of, unfortunately.
hiya! i was wondering if you had a taglist for your 'Television Static' series/ fic? I'd like to be added to if you do and you plan on updating it further :))
Hi hi!! Iâm technically still thinking of updating it further just in the form of short fics with scenarios and requests and stuff haha so if you have any requests or ideas youâd like to see feel free to hit up my inbox!
Pairing: Harley Sawyer (the doctor)/reader (player)
Summary: continuation of this ;) for those who didnât read it, Sawyer is pretty damn pent of after years of zero human contact. Thankfully for him, youâre there and you donât seem to have much of a choice.
Warnings: cursing, fingering, making out, dirty talk, some degradation, slight edging and begging
Giblet had left a few minutes ago in search of the Omni-hand that had been taken in the elevator. Apparently, you would need it for some areas ahead, so its absence did need to be remedied. If not for the mission, then for shutting Sawyer, who seemed particularly piqued, up.
âYou lost it?!â
âI did not lose it. Huggy took it.â
âOh, yes. That makes it so much better.â
Honestly, you had thought about begging the toy to stay, even if he was the only one small enough to fit through the pipes leading to the tool. Then again, the sooner you got it, the sooner you got out of this place, so you accepted the lesser evil of being alone with the doctor for a while.
Giblet, although unknowingly, did an absolutely wonderful job of screwing you over before his departure, however.
âAre you guys gonna be doing that⌠thing again?â
Your hurried ânoâ clashed against Sawyerâs âmost likely,â the crosstalk making you grimace in embarrassment and the little plush walking out of the room with a sigh.
The both of you continued on, the lacking conversation primarily coming from the man behind you, an annoying mix of sexually-charged taunts and grumbled laments about your idiocy, specifically for allowing that stupid Omni-hand out of your grasp.
It was fairly unsurprising, though, seeing as he always did have a flair for the dramatics.
When he did ask an unrelated question, you couldnât help but actually give him your attention, even if the inquiry was laced with yet another insult.
âSo, how did you survive? I presume you wouldnât have been able to find out about the Hour of Joy on your own.â
Looking down, you swallowed. âI just⌠I just got lucky, I guess.â
âWhat? Did you just magically happen to take that day off or something?â He turned to you with an incredulous expression when you failed to give an answer, his tone going flat. âAre you serious?â
âLook, you donât need to make fun of me. Do you know how bad it feels to take a single shift off and then the morning that I come back everyone turns out to be missing?â
âMuch better than being there to hear them scream, donât you think? Personally, I didnât seem to mind.â
You grit your teeth. âCan we talk about something else?â
âOf course!â His acceptance seemed far too easy to not be suspicious. âDoes that mean itâs later, then?â
With a scowl, you flashed him a glare before freezing a pile of Poppy gel. âYa know, when I said âlater,â I kinda meant whenever we got out of this hellhole.â
Then again, you were planning on making a b-line for the police station first thing, and you were most definitely taking him with you, so it did feel like the slightest bit of a lie.
Then again, he most definitely deserved it.
Ice scattered across the floor as you made the mound burst, turning back to peer behind you and frowning with unease. âStop looking at me like that.â
The corner of his lip quirked slightly in amusement. âLike what?â
Like you want to eat me alive
Without answering, partly out of fear of the accuracy to your guess, you slipped underneath a fallen piece of titanium. Your silence seemed to only irritate him further.
âOh, come now. Thereâs no need to be so rude. If you like me just say so.â
You scoffed. âI do not like you.â
The denial had him rolling his eyes. âOf course. And, pray tell, what was that back there?â
Warmth started blooming up your neck as you swiveled to face him. âThat was absolutely nothing. You came on to me!â
âAnd you didnât seem to have the slightest issue with that. Funny.â
âI-â
Once more, the memories had the heat traveling up to your face and into your head, melting any sort of clever retort you might have had before.
âWhatâs wrong, little germ? Did I hit a nerve?â
âDonât call me that.â For a statement that was meant to be commanding, it sounded awfully pathetic.
âWhat else shall I call you then? Darling?â He cocked a brow mockingly. âOr maybe youâd enjoy something like whore better.â
Fuck
So unfair that such a vile human could be blessed with a voice like that.
And a face like that, too.
âYou make me so mad.â
That fact that something so childish was all you could come up with as a response was more than enough evidence to show your slowly crackling defenses, a fact that had Sawyer internally giddy with delight. âAmong other things, it seems.â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â When you pressed an accusatory finger into his chest, you were met with a striking firmness.
For a doctor who spent his free time in a factory basement running illegal experiments, he was surprisingly toned. The idea of what the rest of him looked like had you absolutely frozen.
âThe human body responds in certain ways when it gets aroused.â His hand curled around your wrist, bringing it up and pressing his thumb into the center. âYour pulse quickens. Muscles tense. Blood pressure rises.â
Bending down to reach your level, his breath tickles your ear as he continued. âI wonder how youâd react if I kissed you again. Letâs find out, shall we?â
He was slow when he moved to face you, just barely hovering centimeters away.
If he had been anyone else, you might have thought the action to be a wordless search of your approval. You knew better, however, knew that it was to do nothing more than to taunt, to tease.
To make you desperate.
It was working.
Iâll take my time with you
For the second time today, he pressed his lips against yours.
And for the second fucking time today, you just couldnât seem to resist.
You really were hopeless, werenât you?
It was a fact that he seemed to realize just as well, the ghost of a grin dancing across his mouth as he devoured your own. One hand wrapped around your neck, the other quickly slithering under the hem of your shirt.
That arm snaked under the fabric and up your back to undo your bra, an action that he completed with unsurprising dexterity. So much so, that you barely even noticed at all, gasping in shock when you felt his palm skim over your exposed breast.
It seemed that the sound had amused him, much to your annoyance. He backed up just slightly, continuing to place kisses down your neck between teasing sentences. âWhatâs wrong? Is somebody embarrassed?â
A grimace graced your features. âI liked you a lot better when you were a metal box.â
âOh, is that so?â He cocked a brow. âBut then I couldnât do this.â
Without any further warning, he pinched your nipple, the tiny squeeze sending a jolt of pleasure up your chest and a small moan out your mouth.
As if the mere touch of you was satisfaction enough, he continued to play, to prod, to do whatever he pleased. He watched as you squirmed under his grasp, relishing in the feeling of the warmth of your flesh under his grip.
Even in your state, a confusing mix of humiliation and excitement, you could tell that he was slowly getting just as fervent as you were. You barely felt the fallen piece of concrete behind you until Sawyer pushed you up against it, using the debris to support you.
âI wasnât lying. You canât begin to understand how infuriating it is to go years without the sensation of human skin.â One of his hands nimbly started to undo the buttons of your shirt, the action doing a wonderful job of distracting you from the other, which had silently started to move lower. âTo watch you parade around this damn basement and not be able to put you in your place.â
When he opened your top, you unconsciously moved to cover yourself, but he caught both of your wrists between a single palm.
He did nothing but chuckle when you shuffled in embarrassment. âEver thought that maybe you deserved it?â
Your heated response failed to deter him. In fact, it seemed to have something akin to carnal excitement flashing behind those gray irises. âI wasnât lying when I said I was going to take my time with you, either. Iâd suggest starting to be more polite.â
Halfway ready to ask him why, a gasp cut your inquiry off when his thumb brushed against your clit. He slowly started to make circles around the bundle of nerves, the movement uncharacteristically tender. Two of his other fingers slipped gently into you, beginning to pump in and out.
âFuck.â It was practically deplorable, how easily he had you turning into a cursing pile of mush.
Your own hand drifted to the hem of his pants, a jolt of excitement spiking through you when you realized how hard he was. Before you could do anything, however, Sawyer quickly snatched your wrist, the sudden grab causing you to look up at him in confusion.
âYouâre not gonnaâŚâ
He smiled mockingly. âWhy? Do you want to?â
âI didnât say thatâŚâ you muttered, perfectly aware of how awfully disappointed the statement sounded.
âOh, you poor, desperate thing. Donât worry, Iâll have you one way or another. I just figured I would wait until I got you out of place.â His voice, ever so slightly unsteady now, tickled your ear. âI want to make you scream properly without worrying about someone important hearing.â
The comment had you squeezing around his hand.
A few more minutes passed and you could begin to feel an orgasm incoming.
Just as it had started to approach, however, the contact stopped. The swift termination had you looking back up in surprise, then nearly whimpering at the wicked excitement dancing over his gaze.
How he knew you were getting close, you had absolutely no idea, but you were extremely unhappy with the fact nonetheless.
âAh, ah,â he chided. âSay please.â
Your jaw dropped slightly in dismay. âYouâve gotta be fucking with me.â
His grin only widened. âTry me, little germ.â
Stubbornness had you glaring up at him in response.
With a shrug, he started to remove his fingers. âFine, then.â
âPlease!â You bit out, closing your eyes as if maybe that would make your surrender less humiliating. âPlease, please, please, please!â
âThere we go.â At your plea, he resumed once more. âThat wasnât so hard, was it?â
His tone matched your statement from hours before almost perfectly, and if you were any less desperate you might have chided him for mocking you so blatantly, but you honestly couldnât find it in yourself to care at the moment.
Especially not when that elusive high was getting close again.
His movements quickened slightly, but steady, perfectly timed to have you coming apart.
He did have a surgeonâs touch, you supposed, so it should have been all that surprising.
âThatâs it, brat. Melt around my hands.â
And you did.
Your nails bite into his shoulders through his coat, but he didnât reprimand you, just wordlessly taking you down from your high with arrogant satisfaction blazing behind his expression.
When he pulled away, you whined, completely chipping away at whatever pride you had left. It looked as if the mere sound almost had his own resolve breaking as well, those usually perfectly steady hands quivering slightly, gray eyes flashing in what looked to be carnal desire.
Regardless, he let out a breath and readjusted his lab coat.
âAlright, letâs get to parts and services.â
Ignoring the slight shakiness in your legs, you stood up with furrowed brows. âI thought you said we needed the Omni-hand to get there.â
Turning back to you, he offered a small, much-too-friendly looking grin in your direction. âDid I? I donât recall.â
Summary: now that you and Sawyer are a âteam,â heâs employed you to get his human body back. He most definitely wasnât, however, expecting to feel so needy now that he has all those pesky parts and hormones again. The solution?
Take it out on you.
Word Count: 1.8k
Warnings: language, kissing, very suggestive, sexual intent, getting caught (kinda), some potentially not too accurate representations of lore and/or cryonics but who cares
âI just donât think that we can trust him. Ya know?â
âYeah, Giblet, I know. Heâs just the best we got right now.â With a huff, you looked down to the television monitor. âUnfortunately.â
To say that you had been pissed when Sawyer showed up again was a massive understatement. After all the work you had put in to get him out of the way, now he just pops back up like the worldâs worst game of wack-a-mole.
Now, you were stuck hauling around this giant television and the asshole inside it had the nerve to be making demands.
Apparently, the doctorâs physical body was still very much, buried deep beneath the factory, and its owner seemed very antsy to get it back. Seeing as the both of you now had some semblance of being on the same team, he had immediately asked you to help him in that endeavour.
Asked was a strong word.
âMost of my bots were destroyed after I was shut off, you idiot. What do you expect me to do like this?â
âShutting up would be a nice start.â
âBesides, itâs not just getting my body. This will re-wire me back into the factoryâs mainframe system. That means code, secrets. Whatever your puny little heart could desire.â
âLook, that sounds great and all, but if you could just tell us how to kill the prototype, that would be really helpful.â When he didnât respond, you sighed. âThe way I see it, you need us. I could unplug you right now.â
Probably the silliest threat youâve made to date, but this entire situation wasnât exactly normal, so you let it slide.
You felt a little tug of your shirt, the movement causing you to look down and see a small, red plush blinking back up at you. âBut if we do that, we wonât be able to find Poppy. Heâs the only one who knows where she-â
âGiblet!â
The stuffed animal took a few moments, but gasped when he realized his words had quickly obliterated your bluff, along with any sense of dominance that you had over the situation. âOh⌠sorry.â
Sawyerâs wickedly gleeful laugh crackling out through the speaker had you groaning in vexation.
After that entire debacle, and what seemed like an hour of walking around with an extra thirty pounds of the most annoying piece of technology on the planet, you arrived in front of a deadbolt and dusty keypad.
You looked down in expectancy to the device in your arms. âCode?â
âDonât boss me around.â
âFine. We can just sit here while Iâll try to guess, then.â
Silence.
â2381.â
âThatâs what I thought.â
Despite Gibletâs slip up, you still did have some semblance of an upper hand here, one of the only positives of this situation. It was quite entertaining to toy with him a bit, no pun intended. Even with a stark lack of regular facial features, you could tell he was fuming behind that screen.
With a beep, the door slid open, revealing a large space lined with metallic tables and test tubes. The thing that stood out the most, however, was the giant cryogenic chamber standing in the middle of the room.
âIs⌠is that you?â
âYes, yes. Save the astonishment for later if you can.â
Oh shit
Why is he hot?
Ebony hair fell over strikingly sharp features. Even through the slightly frosted glass, you could tell there were bags under his eyes, but they didnât even begin to take away from the rest of his appearance. Some might have argued that they did the exact opposite, actually. A small, thin scar cut through the left side of his lip, a result from what you guessed to be a less-than compliant experiment.
Deserved
âGiblet, will you keep watch outside?â When the creature nodded and acquiesced, you turned back to the monitor. âOkay. How do I⌠wake you up, or whatever?â
The screen flickered as the doctor rolled his eyes, but didnât voice his annoyance at your lack of proper medical terminology. âJust scan your fingerprint with that keypad.â
You almost snorted. âSeriously? Thatâs it?â
âYes, seriously,â he grumbled. âThat fucker Pierre thought it would be funny if anyone else in the company could do it but me.â
This time, you did give a little chuckle. âSo, a janitor could have just wandered down here and done it. But you canât.â
A scoff echoed through the space. âWhat janitor would wander down here? Iâm surprised an idiot like you has lasted this long.â
âWell, this idiot is the one in charge of whether or not you remain in a giant refrigerator, so Iâd suggest being nicer.â You knelt down to face the doctor. âSay please.â
More silence.
Then a long sigh.
âPlease.â
âThat wasnât so hard, was it?â You could practically hear the internal rage laced within the radio static.
Regardless, you stepped up to the monitor and pressed your pointer finger onto the scanner, flinching slightly when the screen buzzed to life. Moments later, air rushed out of the gap. The door slowly opened, the movement forcing you backward.
Chilled fog spilled from the crack, pooling out into the floor. It swirled around his ankles when Sawyer took his first step out of the chamber.
Ah, fuck
Heâs prettier up close
The man in question raised an arm, fluttering his fingers and giving a sharp exhale, almost like it was his first time breathing in years.
You supposed that it probably was.
Even with his flatter demeanor, it was easy to see the emotions running over him. Bits of shock and relief, fractured with what one might have described as malevolent joy.
Grey eyes flicked up and down over your form, the shift making your pulse quicken. He took far too long before he said anything.
Just staring.
And then-
âThereâs snacks and water in the cupboard over there.â
You blinked in surprise. âOh⌠thanks.â
With the mumbled words of gratitude, you shuffled over and began searching through the offerings, attempting to ignore the heat blooming up your neck. Washing up in the sink helped a bit, but the cold water didnât do nearly enough to dull the warmth.
Am I really that shallow?
He turns out to be attractive and now youâre polite
Well, thatâs not exactly true
For some horribly self-deprecating reason, you didnât really hate the way he had talked to you. It pissed you off, sure, but in an oddly exciting way.
At the moment, you couldnât exactly decide if the masochistic potential of that or being a shallow person was worse.
All of those thoughts, and your first form of sustenance in days, had done a lovely job of distracting you from the continuous staring from across the room. It wasnât until your fourth protein bar that you even felt the heat of anotherâs eyes burning into your skin.
Mid-chew, you glanced in Sawyerâs direction. âWhy are you looking at me like that?â
Without answering, he strode over.
Despite all the warning signs going off in your mind, you stood your ground, not moving when he stopped centimeters away from you.
Fuck, heâs tall
You had to crane your neck to properly meet his gaze. It felt oddly vulnerable, a fact that you were trying desperately to ignore. He seemed to notice, though, a small smirk tugging at the edge of his face. âScared, little germ?â
The nickname had you frowning. âYou wish.â
His fingers brushed your arm, the sudden contact sending a shiver up your spine.
Your reaction had him tensing, and for a split second, you thought he might start berating you, more crude comments on how fragile your puny human form was, which was technically now a very hypocritical statement with him in this form.
It was a complete shock when he bent down and pressed his lips against yours.
But it was an even bigger surprise to both of you when you kissed him back.
He was gentle, surprisingly so for the way he talked, for the way he acted.
That didnât last long, though.
His movements quickly descended into something close to desperation. With a less-than tender touch, he shoved the GrabPack off of your shoulders, not caring when the contraption slammed onto the tiled floor.
You seemed just as bad, however, gripping onto him like he was your lifeline. Your fingers slid through his hair, tugging at the ebony locks in a way thatâs had him nearly growling.
Wrapping his hands underneath your legs, he lifted you up onto one of the countertops almost effortlessly. One of his arms wrapped around your waist, possessive. His free set of fingers dug into your thigh, hard enough to tow the line between pain and pleasure.
And you despised how much you loved it.
âFuck,â he cursed, lips moving from your own down to your neck. The change, and the way he somehow sucked at the skin there with expertise, had you groaning.
That horrendously attractive chuckle sounded off, making you frown. âScrew you.â
âI could make that happen.â He grinned into your throat.
With your grip still curled around his hair, you tugged back, forcing his face upwards and mouth back to yours.
Maybe you would regret that.
Maybe not.
âYouâre playing a dangerous game, little germ. You donât know how long itâs been. Iâm going to take my time with you.â
Despite every morsel of self-respect, that had you whimpering into him.
The sound was music to his ears.
âSuch a confident, stupid, little thing. Making me say please,â he snarled. âIâll make you beg until your throat runs sore.â
âHowâs it going in- oh!â
The sound of Gibletâs voice had you jumping back in alarm, face burning and eyes trained to the floor as you slid down to get the GrabPack.
Slinging the item over your arm, you shuffled to the now-open door in embarrassment. âItâs fine. We should go. Yeah. We⌠uh, letâs go.â
Muttering curses, you slid by the stuffed animal, turning back in annoyance when you didnât hear any footsteps following behind you. That vexation only deepened when you caught sight of the horrendously arrogant expression gracing Sawyerâs features.
âCome on,â you said, sighing when you were met with nothing but a cocked brow. âWe can discuss this later.â
âFine.â With a small smirk, he walked past you, making sure that his pointer finger gently brushed your arm. âLater, then.â
(Can be read on its own and also as an epilogue to my full length fic)
âPlease!â The woman wailed, her voice wavering as she ran through the alleyway. âPlease someone help me!â
A crack in the concrete had the floor beneath her splitting in two and her left foot easily got caught in the divide. With a cry, the sound a saddening mix of fear and pain, she landed on the ground.
Her eyes widened in terror as her assailant crept closer, a knife in one hand, its blade stained with deep maroon. He grinned as he raised the weapon over her, fingers curling around the handle in preparation.
Seconds before swinging down, he paused and glanced to his feet, eyes scrunching in confusion at the shadowed rope circling his left ankle.
The inky creature continued to rotate upward. It arrived just barely below the midsection of his calf before stopping.
And then gave a harsh tug.
Just as his own prey had, the man quickly fell to the ground. A quiet crack could be heard when his nose collided with the pavement, a line of scarlet lined the deep gray before the darkness wrapped around the rest of him, forcing him upward and into the eastern wall. His head was what bashed against the wall this time, the blunt trauma just enough to have him knocked out.
With a satisfying thud, his body slumped onto the ground and the shadows slunk away, satisfied with the state of their victim. Their serpentine forms slithered back into every corner and crevice of the alleyway, resting in their brumated state until they would be inevitably called back into action.
âAre you hurt?â
Jumping in fear at the notion of another criminal, the woman spun her neck around, relaxing ever-so slightly when she saw you.
With teary eyes, she shook her head vehemently, despite the small scratches scattered up and down her arms from taking that fall to the concrete. Other than that, along with a small bit of bruising on the back of her elbows, she seemed fairly fine on the physical side, so you didnât rush to call an ambulance.
She seemed more shaken up emotionally if anything else, staring down at her assaulter like she was halfway expecting him to jump to his feet again. âYou⌠you got him, right?â
Giving his motionless form a gentle kick, you gave a small nod in approval of your work. If the way he basically flopped onto the pavement like a rag doll was any indication, he would be out cold for the next few hours. âUh, yeah. Yeah, I think so.â
Becoming a vigilante had its perks, many of which you had become well-acquainted with during these past few months.
For starters, you didnât have to answer to anyone. There werenât any sticky rules to get caught up in or regulations that you were forced to adhere to. You didnât have to sit and wait for someone else to choose who you saved and how you did it, nor did you have to pull any punches that might otherwise result in some tiring lawful mess.
A lawsuit was the least of your legal issues right now.
If somebody wanted to sue you, they would have to catch you first anyway.
âAre you sure you donât need me to call an ambulance?â
Of course, there were some hardships, just as there always were with almost all careers.
She looked as she was just about to respond, but she quickly paused, all of the color draining from her face. The relief on her features quickly turned into alarm as she let out a gasp.
Tilting your head in confusion, you opened your mouth, ready to ask if everything was alright. Just as you were about to speak, you noticed how her gaze wasnât exactly set on you now, but rather had moved a few inches over your left shoulder.
Raising an arm up, you gave a small groan of annoyance and slowly massaged your temple between your middle and pointer finger before moving closer to properly inspect the piece of paper nailed to the wall.
The edges were tattered slightly, frayed from the simple fact that mere parchment had nothing to protect itself from natureâs tumultuous offerings of wind or rain. However, even with the small bits of damage lining the border, the actual image itself was more than visible.
Printed just below a string of big, bolded letters that spelled WANTED, was your picture. It was dark, sure, but it was easy enough to make the connection when you had been stupid enough to stand right next to your own mugshot.
A sigh of exasperation came out of your mouth as you turned around to face the women, just as terrified as before.
âYou⌠youâre-â
You waved her off. âYeah, yeah, I know. Just hurry home and try to stay safe.â
She blinked.
It took a moment for her to escape from her state of shock, but she seemed to get there in the end, scrambling to her feet and quickly sprinting in the opposite direction without looking back.
âAnd wait a few minutes to call the cops!â You called out, voice draining in volume as she got further and further away. âIf you donât mind.â
Letting out another sigh, you spun back around once more and began to scroll visually down the list of charges you had accumulated. Apparently, there didnât seem to be much of any difference between now and the last time you had seen any one of these, which was a win in your book.
NYX
WANTED BY THE HERO PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION FOR: murder, torture, conspiracy, aggravated assault, robbery, disorderly conduct, and incrimination.
That murder charge wasnât anything factual, just something Rin had tried to pin on you during a raid a few weeks back.
The rest howeverâŚ
Technically true.
Although in your defense, werenât most unfair accusations founded on technicalities?
Besides, if most of the other more violent counts on your rap sheet were only against a singular guy, then they shouldnât really even count in the first place.
Especially seeing as said singular guy most definitely deserved it.
âNice work, doll.â
With a yelp, you jumped back, the shadows around you blooming to life at the notion of another fight. It didnât take long for you to recognize the low drawl of the voice, the deep blue of his eyes glowing in the darkness. Adrenaline flowed from your limbs and you turned back to resume your position. âYou seriously couldnât have made a less creepy entrance?â
Seeming not to care about the annoyance in your words, Dabi slid his arms over your shoulders, leaning down in order to rest his chin on one of them. He seemed to follow your eyeline. âArenât we so cute?â
True to his words, you noticed Dabiâs similarly styled wanted poster, placed just a few inches to the right of your own. Although in black and white, you could practically see the bright blue of the flames surrounding his photo, a quick picture snapped by the news seeing as they couldnât actually get him in custody for a proper one. It was a touch grainy, but you could just make out the soft promise of a smirk painted across his colorless face.
Unfortunately, it was much cooler than yours.
Still, in some messed up, unsavory way, it was almost kind of romantic.
From the corner of your eye, you watched his smile dissipate, the change in expression followed by a humored huff. âI just donât know why your bounty is higher than mine.â
That statement was just as true as his first, your own reward for capture sitting at almost a half dozen million yen over his, despite the fact that his actual list of charges far outweighed yours.
WANTED
DEAD OR ALIVE
WANTED BY THE HERO PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION FOR: Serial murder, Torture, Arson, Psychological abuse, Assault and battery, Conspiracy, Blackmail, Stalking, Kidnapping, Terrorism, Incrimination
âAww, poor thing. Is somebody feeling jealous?â
He shot you a look. âWatch it.â
The glare, although probably terrifying to an outsider, held no real vehemence. It was nothing but an unfounded threat, definitely not enough to make you stop.
Besides, it was practically impossible not to tease him when you had the chance.
You were the only one who could.
Without getting incinerated to a crisp, at least.
âSorry, babe.â You shrugged. âGuess you shouldâve remembered that the Commission sets the bounty rate. I just went straight to the source.â
âI was the one who burnt off the fuckerâs fingers.â
Slipping out from under his grasp, you spun to face him. âAfter I ordered you to.â
His scoff echoed off the walls. âYouâre one to talk about being ordered around.â
The idea behind his words had you falter internally, yet you forced the feeling of aroused bashfulness down with a teasing shrug. âI donât know. You seemed to take it pretty well.â
âYouâre gonna regret that later.â A playful challenge flashed in his gaze. âBet you that mouth of yours wonât act so smart when itâs screaming my name.â
âI guess youâll just have to prove it, then.â You moved closer to him, pressing a gentle finger onto his chest.
The corner of his mouth twisted into a smirk. âI guess I will.â
âââ˝âžââ
Your sweater hit the floor, falling atop the crumpled pair of jeans that had been first discarded. With a small kick, you nudged them away, making sure they wouldnât provide any more distraction or barrier than they already had.
Now that your flesh was exposed, Dabi moved his mouth from your own to your chest, rolling his tongue around your nipple before giving it a gentle bite. A hand gave your other breast a squeeze while the free one quickly worked to undo the buttons of his own clothing. He always made sure to leave marks behind, sucking and nipping on the sensitive flesh until there was no question as to who you belonged to.
When his white undershirt was finally off, umbra quickly ran to replace it. Darkness swirled over the bar skin of his biceps, circling his chest before dancing downward to his abdomen.
There were a few things you had learned once accepting that your quirk was much more than a weapon, the biggest being that it was more accurately an extension of your soul, just as it was for many. While the notion might have been heartwarming, it became annoyingly easy teasing material when things like this happened.
Apparently, when you didnât force yourself to be so controlling over your shadows, they were unfortunately very good at illustrating your emotions.
They seemed to get particularly active when you wereâŚ
Excited.
A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, the sight making your cheeks warm. âSomeoneâs a fan.â
Raising an arm, you battered the darkness away, hoping the embarrassment would fizzle out at a similar rate. âDonât get too cocky.â
âI think my cockiness is pretty warranted actually.â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean-â
A small yelp cut through your words when he pressed you down into the bed before continuing his descent with his mouth. The warmth of his touch had heat blooming below your abdomen, the sensation having you unconsciously squeezing your legs in desperation. His journey stopped just above your panties. Slipping his pinky inside of them, he teased inside the hem just barely before slipping them off entirely.
Leaning down once more, he encased his lips around your clit.
The moan that you let out was nothing less than disgraceful. The sinful noise echoed off through the room, no longer stifled with unmet attempts to keep quiet. His tongue swirled around the oversensitive bud. Similarly lewd sounds were pulled forth with each lick.
It wasn't long before your high was advancing, pulling you closer and closer to the brink of euphoria with every oral caress. It was at arms reach, mere moments away from the release you had been deprived of these past moments.
And then it was gone, sweet bliss yanked between the tips of your fingers as he backed away.
âWhat... what are you-â You groaned as the realization hit. The whine was exceptionally pitiful, but you lacked the mind to care, still reeling over the loss of your ever-so-near climax. âYouâre such a fucking asshole.â
âSorry, babe.â He enunciated the words, making sure that they perfectly matched your taunts from earlier. âShouldnât dish it out if you canât take it. Dontcha think?â
Even as he finally began to apply pressure once more, you knew that it would merely be a tease, offering you the notion of satisfaction just to tear it from your grasp moments later.
Already close from before, it didn't take long for you to creep up upon your high again. Of course, he was able to tell, well acquainted with the unconscious roll of your hips and the way your voice changed, even if the shift was slight.
Hot tears brimming at the corner of your eyes threatened to overflow, boiling with physical frustration.
âAww, did somebody want to come?â Taking notice, he let out a laugh, brushing away one of the droplets with faux tenderness. âBeg for it, then.â
It was just a game to see who would break first.
Seeing as he had full control over when, and if, you were offered relief, it wasnât hard to guess who it would be.
Still, you tried to hold strong. All of your attempts faltered, however, when he began quickening his edging process. When you were mere moments away from an orgasm, he would stop, just barely enough to have you losing the feeling before starting again. How he knew the perfect instant to pause and then begin once more, you werenât sure, but his precision had your nails biting into the covers.
The cruel exercise continued, over and over, until it finally broke through your stubbornness.
âPlease.â You breathed, taking notice of the cruel glee lacing his expression.
âOh, come on.â He gave your thigh a small squeeze. The gesture seemed reassuring, but his tone reeked of mock sympathy. âI think you can do better than that.â
âPlease.â You repeated, a little louder this time, although it came out sounding just as pathetic. âIâll do anything, just please.â
âStill not good enough,â he goaded.
Your climax seemed milliseconds away, taunting you with its cruel pleasure. It filled you to the brim, bursting at the seams and threatening to spill over.
âFuck, Touya!â All sense of embarrassment was thrown out the window, followed shortly by the ideas of potential regret that was to be felt later. âPlease! Please! Please, just let me come.â
One of his fingers teased the outside of your slit, gliding up through the folds before pushing in. âThere you go! That wasnât too hard was it? You play such a good whore anyway.â
Finally, an orgasm ripped through your form, a sharp cry torn from your throat as you arched into the ecstasy. It seemed to last forever, the pleasure unwavering as you were allowed to fall completely towards euphoric darkness.
One of Dabiâs hands continued slowly taking you down, while the other quickly began working to pull down his underwear. Barely having time to take a breath, you groaned in pleasure when he entered you, pressing another kiss to your lips as he did so.
âThatâs right, gorgeous. You sound so pathetic right now.â
Your nails dug into the muscles of his back, leaving your marks in the pale skin.
âYouâre such a good girl for me. Such a pretty little whore.â
He never faltered, each forward movement punctuated with a sinfully beautiful contrast of praise and mocking comments. With the passing minutes, you seemed to drop further and further into the ocean of mindless bliss.
Even with your first climax still pulsing through you, that soft, ticklish warmth growing between your thighs had you preparing for another.
Ecstasy shot through your body, flooding over your conscious mind in a way that had your legs shaking. Dabiâs own orgasm seemed to come shortly after, a low groan of pleasure following yours. One final thrust had the both of you tensing, hormones leaking from your skin as your body fell into one anotherâs.
He placed a kiss on your mouth before moving to place another on your forehead. âRegret all that attitude yet?â
âDefinitely not,â you answered, still partially breathless.
A smirk pulled on his lips to match your own.
âââ˝âžââ
The balcony attached to your apartment was much nicer than the one back at the Leagueâs. Seeing as Dabiâs father was absolutely loaded and lacking in any sort of consciousness about what two-thirds of his children were doing, it was surprisingly easy to unnoticeably use Endeavors credit cards to buy a nice apartment that came with its own little terrace. Its place at the top floor had you able to look straight up at the stars, the blinking balls of celestial light clearer than they ever were at the heart of the city.
Sitting here after a long day might have been one of your favorite activities, its enjoyment only heightened by the arm lovingly slung over your shoulder.
The shower taken ten minutes ago had left your hair slightly damp, a warm midsummer breeze coursing through the strands. Cold metal stung the back of your hand when you moved to rest it on the top of the railing. Umbra bloomed upward from your palm, the inky blossom gliding within the soft tug of the night air.
Raising his wrist to sit next to yours, Dabi sparked his own quirk to life. A blaze of turquoise, his small flame danced next to your own miniature figure.
Both elements swirled and spun. Shades of cerulean and sable folded into one another, a waltz of ember and ebony.
Slowly, the clashing storm of light and dark faded away and you folded your fingers through his, extinguishing the contrasting duet for good when he pulled the rest of your hand into his.
