A little late, but here's my piece for Ratchlock Day! I wanted to try drawing for Pastel's' AU because the designs looked fun, and she draws some prime ratchlock content. :D They're so cute...

Oh my gosh—YES.

​I kind of always had in the back of my mind the knowledge that Megatron and Drift knew each other on a deeper level than was portrayed in Lost Light, and the lack of meaningful interaction between them still bugs me to this day. They had what—one moment?

^ This. This right here. “Thank you. For leading the way” will ALWAYS be one of my favorite lines in all of MTMTE/LL. I was hoping this meant we’d see more canon Megatron & Drift interaction since it just made sense, but I was severely disappointed.

So anyway, yes to Rodimus being jealous of Megatron and Drift and their history, no matter how complicated it may have been.

I love that line so much. if I'm remembering correctly, Jro actually ended up putting this interaction in because so many people were asking for some moment between these two. At least we got something but I feel you, I was also super disappointed.

Drift was important to Megatron! We learned this from his miniseries, it's absolutely ripe for some further development and just... never got that. What a missed opportunity.

one of my favorite things ever is when Jack is saying he can't be late for curfew or his mom will call the police, and Optimus, likely having no idea what 'curfew' means and only hearing the part about law enforcement, bends down and asks with grave seriousness if he has broken a law
