No trouble this week ladies gents and miscreants, so now I get to post my concept Kit for Okoye.

Okoye is the main member of the Dora Milaje focused on within most Black Panther Media (to my knowledge). Okoye is spotted in the background of a few of the games animations, and her armor is present in one of the maps, she even has a voice actor already. So I believe she's has a high likelihood to join the games hero roster as a 275 HP duelist utilize supporting abilities in a manner similar to Storm allowing her to be a powerful team anchor and leader.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Okoye uses her spear in close range melee combat.

[ ] Basic melee (right stick pressed):

By spinning her spear, Okoye can deal extra damage and parry incoming projectiles much like Hawkeye.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Okoye uses nanotechnology to generate a second spear that can be thrown like the ones T'challa use. When these spears get stuck on a wall, Okoye can use a grappling device to pull herself towards them letting her fling herself off of them for further movement, or pull herself onto the spear and use it as a personal platform.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Okoye hurls a kimoyo bead to her teammates. Whoever on her team this bead attaches too will receive bonus shielding.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Okoye activates her own kimoyo bracelet to provide herself a self healing sustain tool.

[ ] Team up ability 1

Paired with Black Panther, Okoye, Shuri, and Nakia are able to refresh their A1 by killing any enemy with a vibranium mark. These heroes also gain the ability to mark enemies with their own abilities. In Okoye's case, her explosive spear can provide a refresh mark.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Paired with the Man-Ape, Okoye grants M'baku a nanotechnology armor that instantly gives him 100 bonus health. When the man ape has this armor active, he can at any time send the bonus shielding to her instead should Okoye need the assistance.

[ ] Passive ability

Wakandan protection is Okoye's passive. Whenever she utilizes a health pack, Okoye can share the healing with nearby teammates.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

"Blessing from the gods" is Okoye's ultimate. She gains the favor of the Wakandan gods granting her the ability to expell some of their energy and sustain her team via bonus health. The health gained is instant and will not decay during the ultimates duration, however it will not be restored like with Captain America's ultimate. Around Okoye, eruptions of fire will burst from the floor beneath nearby enemies similarly to the map effect on Wakanda. This allows Okoye and her team to push back against oppressive enemies during a fight.

Had some irl troubles this week, so I'm not posting a concept kit. Instead, here's a few mock up designs I made for The Runaways in Rivals. (They're now even more relevant because Old Lace was modled on the new museum map)

I made a storyline idea as well, so if anyone's curious, I might do a follow-up post with that, and probably also more designs. I've got quite a few more for the runaways, and a few other characters.

Did I just set up a schedule and instantly fail to maintain it? Yes. How evil, but not nearly as evil as today's custom character idea,

Green Goblin

Norman Osborn is one of Spiderman's most iconic antagonists. Some would even say his arch nemesis. As the Green Goblin, Norman is a maniacal madman who flys around on a glider and terrorizes innocent people with pumpkin bombs. He was a normal father and tech industry billionaire, but went insane and now only the Goblin remains. He would be a 250 HP flying Duelist.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Goblin hurls his signature pumpkin bombs down at targets. These bombs bounce once similar to Squirrel Girl's acorns.

[ ] Basic melee (right stick pressed):

By flipping his Glider upside down, Green Goblin is able to use the flames emitted as his close range melee ability.

[ ] Secondary fire (right bumper):

Norman selects a target and dashes towards them with the glider. This ability can pierce through a target. His velocity is carried as a hitbox for a few seconds, potentially allowing his glider to skewer multiple enemies.

[ ] Ability 1 (Y/🔺️):

Osborn goes into a frenzy. His usually slow attack speed is gone as he's now able to throw bombs in rapid succession. Frenzy mode also increases his speed, but also increases the amount of damage he takes. Making this ability a double edged sword.

[ ] Ability 2 (A/O):

Goblin dashes forward and drops bombs directly under his path. The bombs dropped with his carpet ability don't bounce.

[ ] Passive ability 1

Osborn gets a +15% damage increase against any enemy spider totems, as do all other sinister 6 members.

[ ] Passive ability 2

Green Goblin is in a permanent state of flight through the use of his glider.

[ ] Team up ability 1

"Just this once Spider" is a team up that allows Peter Parker and Miles Morales to swing onto Goblin's glider and hitch a ride.

[ ] Team up ability 2

"Upgrades from a madman" allow Iron-Man's missiles to now track enemies if they get close to a target. Osborn receives a 20% damage increase as the ability anchor.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Norman enters a super charged state where he becomes the ultimate Goblin. A massive Hulkling brute who also grants a health increase effectively turning Goblin into a vanguard with 1,000 health. Becoming ultimate Goblin drops him out of the sky and turns him to a melee hero. Once he's in the ultimate Goblin state, he deals a heavy amount of damage. Using his left trigger, he's able to grab a target and fling them in the air where he breaths fire melting down their health. His ability 1 is now a bomb spread where he hurls a handful of bombs in a blanket motion. This overloaded Goblin shrinks down and instantly ascends upwards upon the ultimates conclusion.

A late post this week. However, I can use my tardiness as an excuse to change the post schedule because truth be told, I really hate posting on Mondays. So now, the weekly post is being moved to Tuesday or Wednesday!

And the late post this week is none other than Sam Wilson's Falcon

Sam Wilson is the Falcon. A former air force soldier turned avenger. Falcon is one of Captain America's closest friends, and even takes on the mantle on multiple occasions. In fact, the Captain America of Marvel rivals Present timeline is confirmed to be dead, which leaves the door open for Sam to take on the title whenever he joins the roster (although I'll keep calling him Falcon to avoid confusion.) And given his wide wingspan, I think it'd also make sense if he joined the vanguard roster as a flying tank like Angela to help differentiate him from Steve. Due to his range and speed, he'll only have 525 HP to keep him from being overbearing.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Falcon fires a set of 3 metal fethers from his wings much like Gambit's card projectiles.

[ ] Basic melee (right stick pressed):

Wilson swings his wings like a sword in a slashing attack. This slash can deflect projectiles much like Hawkeye's melee.

[ ] Secondary fire (right bumper):

Falcon selects a target. His pet bird, (or drone depending on which version is used,) Redwing, dives down to the enemy and attacks them twice.

[ ] Ability 1 (Y/🔺️):

Falcon puts his wings over his body as a shield. When in shield mode, he removes all bonus health and adds it to the durability of his shields. If he exits shield mode with additional durability remaining, it goes back to his own health.

[ ] Ability 2 (A/□):

Falcon enters his accelerated flight mode. When in acceleration mode, he cannot use his other abilities. However he's given 50 bonus health in flight. (Bonus health given by flight leaves instantly once flight ends.)

[ ] Passive ability

Bird of Prey is Falcon's Passive ability. When one of Falcon's abilities gets a final hit he's given bonus health similar to the passives for Magik and Bucky.

[ ] Team up ability 1

Paired with Captain America, Falcon and the Winter Soldier are able to catch Captain America's shield when he throws it, and automatically throw it again to a nearby enemies. Mechanically, this just acts as an extension to Cap's rebound range, however it also activates the bonus health passives for both heroes.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Falcon's wings can be latched onto by Peter Parker or Venom, allowing them to preform a combo attack with Sam.

When the two web slingers activate this combo, Falcon folds his wings giving them a platform to cling to and aim a slam attack downward. Venom's slam attack behaves much like the one he already has, but with an added earthbound effect that can be combined with his tether. Spider-man's new slam attack spreads a layer of webbing that also gives earthbound, and web tracer marks.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Falcon enters a first person scope mode. He's given roughly two seconds to tag as many enemies as possible. At the end of the tagging period, any marked enemies will be struck with homing missiles that half an enemies current health, and then dove by Redwing dealing a fixed amount of damage.

Ladies Gents and Miscreants, its that time of the week where I post a custom marvel rivals hero kit, and today's hero is The Totally Awesome Hulk, and sometimes Iron-Spider,

Amadeus Cho

Amadeus Cho is one of the smartest minds in marvel. His extreme intelligence is made far more dangerous when paired wirh his alternate form, the hulk. Amadeus absorbed the Hulk's powers when it became too much for Bruce to handle as Hulk always grows exponentially. He's able to amplify his Hulk strength with technology, especially in his other super hero identity, The Iron Spider. (Yes. He's both Hulk and Spiderman. While most iterations of the character only have him as "The totally awesome Hulk" AKA Brawn, recent adaptations have given him the Iron Spider suit. Those two identities will be combined to help give Cho a more unique Identity in Rivals.) He would be a 675 HP vanguard.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Nanomachine punch is Amadeus's own signature form of Hulk's smashing fists. Cho covers his fists in nanotechnology to make his fists more dense, and thus hit harder. The 3rd hit of these punches have Cho use the nanomachines to make spiked knuckles that he jabs with.

[ ] Basic melee (right stick pressed):

Cho uses the Iron Spider legs to attack a target close to him. Hitting an enemy with the Spider legs causes them to be pulled towards Cho, preventing any targets from fleeing a fight with him.

[ ] Secondary Fire (left trigger):

Cho preforms Hulk's signature thunder clap maneuver. This clap is weaker than the one used by the Hulk, but deals knockup damage. It can be used twice before activating a cooldown.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Cho uses Iron Spider webs to grab a target from far away and pull them towards him. If an enemy is successfully grabbed, Cho is given two prompts. Slam or launch. Using Slam has Cho pummel them downwards to disable mobility, but still allows them to fight back. Launch has Amadeus upercut the enemy into the air. All abilities except for mobility are temporarily disabled (including primary fires and basic melees). Meaning the enemy can escape, but not fight back.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Amadeus uses Spiderman style webs to form a slingshot, with himself as the ammunition. By connecting two points together, he can launch himself similarly to Hulk's super jump.

[ ] Passive ability 1

Amadeus is able to crawl along walls using the Iron Spider limbs. When attached to a wall, he's able to use a Spiderman web to pull himself to a location and perform a dive attack.

[ ] Team up ability 1 (□/X):

Paired with the other Gamma giant, Bruce Banner, Amadeus is able to use Hulk's gamma shield ability.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Spider armor is a team up with Peter Parker. When Spiderman uses his ultimate, he gains a large amount of bonus health. However, that bonus health instantly dissappears when the ultimate ends. Now when paired with the Spectacular Brawn, AKA the Iron Hulk, Amadeus Cho, this bonus health now remains even after the ultimate ends. Taking Spiderman from a minor nuisance to the backline, to a highly dangerous and harder to kill threat.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Amadeus preforms the ultimate science experiment. A baking soda volcano. (Or an elephants toothpaste explosion.) Cho uses his suits nanotechnology to build a lab station where he preforms this experiment. It sets down an in game object that continuously spills out chemicals that Cho has engineered to hurt his enemies, but heal his team. The lab station has 500 health, meaning it can be destroyed to clean up the chemical spill.

I'll admit my ideas for making Amadeus different may not have been up to snuff compared to my other kids, but next week is one I'm more confident in,

Ladies, gents, and miscreants it's that time of the week where I post a custom Rivals kit! And today's post belongs to one of my favorite Spider-man villians,

Sandman

Flint Marko is the Sandman. He's a petty criminal who robs and steals with the goal of raising money to help his hospitalized daughter. However, due to his immoral ways of going about this he's almost always at odds with Spiderman. Spiderman doesn't hate him However, instead he considers Sandman a noble person who's just doing the wrong things for the right reasons. So as with his moral code, he's the only sinister 6 member who isn't completely evil. He would be a 650 HP vanguard.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Marco extends his arms in the same way as another natural element vanguard, Groot. While the initial hit of the attack may be weak, enemies hit by will be engulfed in a miniature dust devil seconds later. This results in a second burst of damage that functions much like the secondary fire of Hela.

[ ] Basic melee (right stick pressed):

Sandman turns his hand into a hammer and brings it down on a target.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Sandman turns into a twister. This acts as his primary form of mobility as moving in twister form is quicker than normal. On top of that, Marco can ascend or descend while in twister state so that when it ends, he could reach higher ground. This twister lacks the pull function held by Storm's ultimate, and does far less damage than it does.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Marco places down a mound of quicksand. Enemies who walk in this sand pile become slowed. Multiple piles can be placed on top of each other to stack the slowing effect. Ability 2 (left bumper):Sandman throws a ball of sand. When it hits a target, they're blinded for a few moments. This ball can land a headshot, and doing so extends the length of the blind.

[ ] Ability 3 (A/O):

Sandman dissolves into the ground and reappears where one of his sand traps was placed.

[ ] Passive ability

Marco gets a damage increase against any enemy spider totems, as do all other sinister 6 members.

[ ] Team up ability 1

When paired with Spiderman, Sandman's ability 2 becomes coated in webbing. This added layer of protection allows the ball to bounce off walls and rebound to potentially hit a target you would have otherwise missed.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Paired with Storm, he's able to throw sand into her tornado ultimate. When their abilities are combined, Storm's tornado throws sand about capable of blinding enemies.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Sandman goes gargantuan. His hand becomes a massive hammer just like in his melee. Entering a first person view like Hela's ultimate, he's able to bring down this massive hammer for large bursts of damage.

Am I a little late to the weekly post? Yes. Or am I? (I am)

Today I have a rivals concept that adds Franklin Richards as Galactus.

Galactus is a Cosmic being who consumes planets. While there's only one Galactus, this isn't him. This is the second person to become Galactus. Franklin Richards, the son of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman. As a reality bender, he was able to become one of the strongest people in marvel. This version of Franklin is utilizing his full Cosmic potential to help his family after discovering their rivals variants. The specific iteration of this character and his sister would be from Rivals 2099 timeline. Since he can control his size, he's able to be a 750 HP playable hero.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Franklin fires bolts of hitscan Cosmic energy. While these bolts travel instantly, the fire rate at which he shoots them is relatively slow most of the time much like Magneto.

[ ] Basic melee (right stick pressed):

Franklin summons a younger version of himself from the past that attacks a target from behind before instantly vanishing.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Galactus charges a burst of Cosmic energy. All bonus health is removed from Franklin when he uses this ability as the shielding is turned into extra damage and AOE for this burst.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Franklin can mark a teammate and instantly telaport to their location at will. This mark remains for 1 second after Galactus respawns potentially allowing him to telaport back into battle after he dies.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Franklin marks an enemy player for consumption. If Galactus kills a marked enemy he consumes their energy to heal himself. This ability can potentially grant him 100 bonus health if he is on full health. (Bonus health gained through consumption doesn't fade over time.)

[ ] Ability 3 (Y/🔺️):

Franklin takes his bonus health and expells it into physical matter. He forms a shield with durability equal to the sacrificed health.

[ ] Passive ability

Insatiable hunger is Franklin's passive ability. Having taken on the form of Galactus's, he's inherented the world eaters constant hunger for planets. Franklin becomes weaker and slower when not on full health. The lower his health is the slower his abilities move. (For example, his primary fire has a fire rate tied to his HP.) As such, Galactus is incentivized to constantly seek out bonus health and satiate his cravings to keep his abilities moving at a tolerable pace.

[ ] Team up ability 1

To me my herald is a team up with The Silver Surfer that allows him to make use of Galactus's consumption mark for a self heal.

[ ] Team up ability 2 (A/O):

When paired with his mother, Franklin uses the same team up ability shared with the rest of the fantastic 4. Granting him passive shielding relative to his health.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

"To me, my Galactus!" Is Franklin's ultimate. He summons the original Galactus as his herald. When summoned, a massive hand descends upon a chosen area and grabs any enemies within. Those enemies are then consumed by the original Galactus. Franklin uses his reality warping to take the energy that would have gone to Galactus and give it to himself. In other words, the combined health of the consumed enemies is given to Franklin as bonus health. Much like the ultimate ability of Venom.

This weeks custom rivals ability concept goes to a member of the Black Order,

Cull Obsidian

Cull Obsidian is one of the 4 members of the Black Order, AKA The children of Thanos. This group of 4 heros consists of soldiers raised and trained by Thanos to be the main forces of his destruction. With Cull being the largest of them all, he would be a 675 HP vanguard. His signature weapon is capable of changing shape depending on his needs. So most of the kit will revolve around changing what that weapon does.

[ ] Primary fire 1 (right trigger):

The default state of Cull's weapon is a great axe. For his initial primary, he swings the axe to preform devastating cleaves. Using the basic melee will revert the weapon to this state.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Cull's weapon changes to a hook type of weapon that extends outward and pulls an enemy towards him where he then slams them into the ground for a second hit of damage. Cull is also able to hook a teammate on critical health and pull them towards him. This allows him to potentially retrieve an over extended teammate, or a support actively being dived to protect them.

[ ] Primary fire 2 (right trigger):

When Kull's hook becomes the weapons form, the primary fire is now replaced with a ranged attack that extends outwards to cut enemies. It cannot hook people like his secondary fire however.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Cull's weapon is now converted into a shield. He holds the shield in front of him, heavily reducing his movement speed in exchange for an incredibly high health shield.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Cull's weapon is now a flail. He slams it hard into the ground. Enemies near him are knocked into the air and stunned for a second.

[ ] Primary fire 3 (right trigger):

When Cull's flail is active, the primary fire has him spin it wildly effectively turning it into a spinning area of constant damage. The ability is very close range, but can absolutely shred through HP, as this primary deals percentile damage. Making it an anti tank tool.

[ ] Passive ability

When Cull Obsidian is in the air, his gravity is increased causing him to fall faster. This makes him weak to heroes like Jeff, but strong against most displacement abilities that try to send him away as he returns to the ground near immediately.

[ ] Team up ability

Absolute servitude is a passive team up shared with the 3 playable members of the Black order. Their assistance abilities for Thanos will be enhanced. Cull's shield state now has faster movement speed removing it's usual weakness, and the stun from his flail slam now deals tick damage for a moment after the stuns duration.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Cull's weapon changes into a large hook he can use to pull enemies within a circular vicinity directly to him where he then changes the weapon to a hammer so he can deliver a devastating slam attack that slows all enemies who survive the impact.

Next week is a fairly unique concept as I'll be combining two characters for my own take on how they could work.

Franklin Richards as the Galactus from the 2099 timeline.

It's time for a new inhunan Rivals concept! Today's post is one of the physically strongest Inhumans, Gorgon.

Gorgon is a member of the Inhuman royal family, and cousin to Black Bolt. He's an Inhuman with a Satyr like appearance and intense strength and durability stemming from his legs. This member of the Inhuman royal court would be a 675 HP melee vanguard.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Gorgon is known for his weapon being a thick heavy club. He swings the club to pummel enemies. The 4th hit of this attack has him slam the club down, causing the enemy to be debuffed and take increased damage for a second.

[ ] Basic melee (right stick pressed):

Gorgon punches with his free hand. This does less damage than his primary, but can be used to animation cancel his primary fire to increase the speed at which he damages enemies.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Gorgon jumps high off the ground to a desired location. He's able to string multiple jumps together by holding the jump button while in the air. Once he's landed, he has a second to decide his trajectory for the next jump by positioning the camera. His leaps gain less height the more he chains together.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Gorgon charges forward. Wherever he goes a path of destruction is paved. Enemies standing in this path will lose access to mobility abilities.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Gorgon throws his club at full force. The spinning weapon deals devastating damage on a target if it connects with one, and then boomerang back to his hand. However if the club misses an enemy, it will get stuck into a wall. Gorgon will have to go out of his way to retrieve the club from its position. When he's lost his club, his primary fire changes to an extended punching combo that builds off his basic melee. The 3rd hit of this combo is a kick which sends enemies away. (Simply being close enough to the club will automatically retrieve it)

[ ] Passive ability

Gorgon's passive is "Royal Guardian. " When he receives any form of damage or speed increase, he will receive a slight percentage increase compared to a normal hero whenever he's lost his club.

[ ] Team up ability 1

Partnered with Loki, Gorgon's club recives an Asgardian enchantment giving it pierce. This means he can significantly damage multiple enemies at the expense of always needing to retrieve the club.

[ ] Team up ability 2

The Inhuman Royal court is a team up that functions similarly to the royal family team up shared by those close to Black Bolt. Any additional members of the royal court paired with Black Bolt recive a 20% increase to a signature statistic. For Gorgon, that's his damage resistance.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Gorgon's leg strength is so immense that a single stomp can generate a 7.8 earthquake on the Richter scale. His strength has however been shown to be capable of destroying planets when used at full strength. As such, Gorgon's ultimate is the world breaker stomp. He brings his hoove to the ground so hard that it causes almost all breakable terrain to be destroyed. (This ultimate has a very large radius, and as such breaks everything within that radius.) People caught in the stomps wide range receive a 2 second stun, and 50% speed reduction.

Cull Obsidian

Back to weekly schedule, and now that we've corrected my own posts, its time for a hero who's known for correcting timelines.

Cable

Cable is the time traveling son of Cyclops and Phoenix, and is a cyborg who inherited his mother's psychic abilities. He's known for being covered in useless fashion pouches, and having heavy amounts of weaponry. He's a common member of the Xmen and the X-force, and would be would be a 675 HP vanguard who makes use of his Punisher level arsenal and time travel technology.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Cable uses a laser shotgun. Much like the other shotgun blasts on the hero roster, this primary is stronger up close as the damage spreads out the longer the bullets travel. However, holding down the primary fire button won't constant fire, but instead charge the ability. When the fire is charged, spread is reduced. This allows Cable to shoot down enemies from a distance so long as he charges his gun to 100%. (100% is the only state where spread is completely removed.) Like other shotgun blasts, there's multiple pellets of ammunition shot instead of one bullet. Meaning while his ammunition is labeled as 200, he actually fires 15 bolts at once. Each doing small damage on their own, but potentially massive damage if every shot lands.

[ ] Basic melee (right bumper):

Cable punches hard with his metal arm. There's a 3 hit combo to this ability, Jab, upercut, and the 3rd hit has him hold a bomb in his hand for a small close range explosion.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Cable reaches into his pouches and grabs a handful of bombs. He throws them for a spread of damage. These bombs make a smoke cloud that slows down movement within.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Cable generates a holographic shield that he's able to run with. In exchange for not being able to use his attacking ability's while using the shield, his movement speed increases to a charge.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Cable can rewrite time to revive a teammate as if that death never even occurred. This could potentially even scrub that death from their score. However, it'd be on a high cooldown like all other revive abilities. He needs to be able to see where the teammate died in order to select them and bring them back to battle.

[ ] Passive ability

Ammo recall is a passive that can theoretically grant him infinite ammo. Headshots landed on an enemy cause the bullet to return to the gun through time travel.

[ ] Team up ability 1

Paired with fellow X force members Deadpool or Domino, both heroes are able to rewind their position in time. This is effectively just a rebooted version of the team up formerly shared between Magik, Black Panther, and Psylock.

[ ] Team up ability 2 (Y/🔺️):

Paired either of his parents, Jean Grey, or Cyclops, Cable is able to send out a wave of energy from his glowing eye. This wave has the ability to stun a target. Killing a target that has been stunned by Cable resets his abilities. (Except for the revive.)

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

The future is now. There's no time to wait for things to happen, and Cable must take matters into his own hands. The cooldowns of his abilities are restored twice as fast. His gun charges near instantly. Even his movement speed is faster. But the biggest feature from his ultimate is the half a second revive cooldown allowing him to restore his team in a pinch.

A little while back I posted several members of the Inhuman royal court, but next week I get to post yet another.

It's the final day of Rivals Week! Today's custom hero kit is a member of the Young Avengers,

Hulkling

The Hulkling is the child of the first Captain Marvel and the Skrull princess (alien shape-shifters.) Due to his parents, he's the living representation of the Kree and Skrull alliance. He's one of the core members to the Young avengers, and romantic partner to Billy Batson, AKA Wiccan. With his shape-shifting ability, he'd have a large frame caused by wings. He'd be a 650 HP hero.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Hulkling is a sword hero. His primary fire features 5 quick sword swings with relatively low damage per swing.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Hulkling thrusts the sword forward. His sword also becomes imbued with Wiccan's magic to extend its range through targets, allowing for peirce damage. The magical piercing can not only go through enemies, but also walls.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Hulkling kicks off the ground and begins flying in the air. His flying speed is much faster than his walking speed, while in the air he can only use his primary and secondary fire abilities.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Hulkling puts his wings in front of him to act as a guard. When in guard mode, his movement is halved, but he gains a damage resistance and 250 bonus health bringing him to a total 900 health. (Bonus health will vanish instantly at the end of the guard)

[ ] Passive ability

Tricky shape shifter is Hulkling's passive ability. It acts as a confusion tactic by having his nameplate always appear as if he's on your own team when on full health. While in disguise, he has a prompt to sneak attack an enemy should be be behind them.

[ ] Team up ability 1 (Y/🔺️):

Paired with a fellow member of the Kree Skrull alliance, Captain Marvel, Hulkling is granted the ability to utilize her binary energy. He charges a beam that's fired from the sword. The longer he charges the beam, the longer the beam is fired.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Paired with the duo hero Wiccan and Speed, Hulkling's guard ability also generates magical bubbles around the teammates close to him.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Hulkling holds his sword above his head and fules his teammates with energy and boostd moral. Temporarily increasing their max health by 200, and their damage output.

Almost the final day of rivals week, and today's post is a prominently teased hero, Luke Cage.

(Also, it is worth noting that this kit was written prior to The Thing's release, and only updated when I began copying it into a Tumblr post)

Luke Cage, AKA Power man (although he rarely uses that name,) is one of the core members of Hero for Higher, alongside other street level heros like Daredevil, Iron fist, and Jessica Jones. His powers are also near identical to Jessica's, however he cannot fly, and instead is bulletproof and near indestructible. He would be a 675 HP hero as a result of his larger frame and increased durability.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Cage punches with a 3 hit combo. The 3rd hit of the combo is an uppercut which deals more damage.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Luke's secondary fire is the power punch. He charges back a haymaker capable of sending enemies away. Unleashing the haymaker against a breakable surface can instead cause the rubble to burst outward into a wall allowing him to single out enemies or make him harder to chase.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Luke Cage and Danny Rand, The Iron Fist, are best friends. However, with Danny now dead in the Rivals continuity, his spirit fights alongside Luke to empower him with Chi. Luke can activate a chi charge to his punches making his attacks faster, and granting him a temporary damage resistance.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Power Charge is a ruthless push where Luke can barrel into enemies knocking them away.

[ ] Ability 3 (□/X):

Cage stomps on the ground bringing up a plume of rubble and dust that can obscure vision allowing him to escape from or disorient enemies attacking him.

[ ] Passive ability

Power man's passive is "Spiritual protection". After receiving critical damage, a self healing passive is activated courtesy of Rand's spirit. This self heal heals a portion of the damage delt to Luke, but the self heal strength grows stronger the more consecutive critical headshots he takes within a set duration.

[ ] Team up ability 1 (Y/🔺️):

Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have an ability that works very similarly to the fastball special team up. Luke can pick up Jessica. While she's being held, she sits on his shoulder and crosses her arms, this gives her a slightly worse version of her guard stance. (Worse Simply because it can't be canceled till she's thrown.)Luke can throw her by tossing her like she's a javelin. Once she lands on the ground, she hits a super hero landing that causes a heavy impact in the ground. This impact sends a shockwave that grounds enemies.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Heroes for Hire is a team up with 6 heroes that features Luke as the Anchor (allowing for a full team composition). The included heroes are Daredevil, Iron Fist, White Tiger, Elektra, and the Punisher. When any of these heroes are on a team with Luke Cage, they gain a "combo attack" ability. This ability allows any two members to preform a combo with one another that deals increased damage. Most typically this combo has them use their Primary fire perfectly in unison. (However for the Punisher, his combo only works with the Shotgun equipped specifically. This is due to the combo abilities being a close range finisher tool.)

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Luke uses the chains around his arms, enhanced by Danny's spiritual chi, to unleash a devastating whiplash upon enemies. Enemies hit by this chain have their spirits attacked which reduces the damage they can deal for a short time.

Happy rivals day! Today's post is a fan favorite from Marvel's defenders, Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones is a street level hero and girlfriend/wife (depending on which version of the character is added to rivals) to Luke Cage. Jessica has extreme strength and limited flight as a result of chemical exposure. She also has limited psychic resistance, which was a power gifted to her by Jean Grey. She would be a 600HP hero due to her smaller frame, but her power set is still befitting of a vanguard, meaning she'd be scaled up much like Emma Frost.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Jessica has a melee combo. A series of punches, and a high kick to the head. This primary acts as her basic melee as well.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Jessica winds up a concussion punch. Getting hit with this can knock an enemy to the ground for a second. A concussed enemy will also have a temporary damage decrease.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Jessica utilizes her flight by activating an ability in the same way as Star Lord. She's able to use her primary punches while in flight, but cannot kick for the extra damage. When Jessica's in the air, she's able to quickly dash into the ground much like Venom can. Being caught in this slam will knock an enemy upwards.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Jessica plants her feet firmly on the ground and crosses her arms. This acts as a sort of psudo shield. She takes reduced damage, and becomes immune to all CC and displacement abilities. However, she herself cannot move or attack while in guard. Doing anything other than guarding will cancel the ability.

[ ] Passive ability

When Jones has any amount of bonus health, her punches hit even harder, giving her significant damage potential when paired with overhealth granting teammates.

[ ] Team up ability 1 (Y/🔺️):

Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have an ability that works very similarly to the fastball special team up. Luke can pick up Jessica throw her like she's a javelin. Jessica dashes forward, grabs an enemy and flys into the air with them. She then suplexes them hard into the ground. If multiple enemies are closed together, she can grab them all for a group slam, which will do less damage than a lone target. However, if multiple enemies are slammed the lower damage is compensated by applying a slow condition to the group.

New Day, new post! Today's custom character concept is for Kingpin

Wilson Fisk is the Kingpin. A New York crime lord who runs the city in secret, although he's since become New York's mayor after the vampire invasion. His massively large frame is the result of pure muscle, making him one of Spiderman and Daredevil's most dangerous villians. Fisk will be a 700 HP wall of a vanguard.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Kingpin is a bruser type of hero. He has a very slow punch speed, however each hit does a high quantity of damage. Meaning while he may be a slow hitter, you'll be punished for ignoring him.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Fisk uses a Tommy gun for his ranged ability, it has a fast fire rate unlike his primary, however his damage is low.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Kingpin jabs his cane in front of him. The sheer force put into this jab is capable of sending a target flying, or demolishing walls.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Fisk has a slight dash ability. When caught in this dash, an enemy is captured in an elbow grab and slammed onto the ground. A slammed enemy is temporarily grounded. Preventing movement abilities for a few seconds.

[ ] Passive ability

Pure muscle is a passive that demonstrates Kingpin's immense physical power. Any melee abilities used against him are felt with nearly half as much damage as would he felt against any other target.

[ ] Team up ability 1 (Y/🔺️):

Demons of new York is a team up with Venom. Fisk is granted the same overhealth ability that Venom uses to increase his survivability.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Paired with the devil of Hell's kitchen Daredevil, Kingpin grants Matt Murdock a grounding ability that snares a targets legs with a set of steel bola.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Kingpin uses a gasoline canister. He pours gas around him for a few seconds. He's able to move around while pouring this gasoline allowing him to spread it's affected area. This acts as the ultimates wind up. Once the wind up is completed, Fisk lights a match and engulfs the area in flames. Any enemies doused in gas will also catch fire and remain burned even once they've left the affected flame field. Ultimates are also surprised while in the flame field, or while doused.

Day 3 of rivals week, and today's vanguard is the Hydra scientist,

Arnim Zola

Arnim Zola is one of the leading scientists of Hydra. He was able to survive past ww2 by uploading his brain into a computer and then giving himself a robot body. Hydra may be the villians, but their interests to defeat Dr. Doom temporarily align with the heroes, causing him to join the roster as a 650 HP vanguard. Zola would be a bunker style vanguard because in the game, he's the one responsible for the moving map environments of the Hydra bases.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Zola fires a lazer projectile that can bounce between nearby enemies. He has infinite ammunition, but the shots have a slower travel time which makes aiming a little harder and specific to his character.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Zola has a bolt ability that can bounce off walls 3 times to hit a target. Once hit, an enemy is given a 2 second stun.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Zola generates a holographic shield allowing him to deflect incoming projectile damage.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Zola has a wall placement ability similar to Groot. However, instead of having a set amount of walls he has an ammunition. This ammunition is the length of his walls. He's able to select two points and build a wall between them by spending the ammunition. Each meter of distance covered is 5 ticks of the 200 ammunition provided.

[ ] Passive ability

Zola's passive, eldritch blessing, grants him a damage reduction and damage increase upon respawning. This passive has a lengthy cooldown of 180 seconds similar similar to the passive held by Wolverine and portal ability of Dr. Strange.

[ ] Team up ability 1

Hail Hydra is a team up with Red Skull, granted to the two hydra members by their god, Hive. Killing one of these two allows them to respawn in the same way as Adam Warlock through a Hive cocoon.

[ ] Team up ability 2

"Perfect test subject" is a team up Zola provides to The Winter Soldier. Bucky gains a new ability where he can utilize the Hydra technology in his arm to heal his wounds. Activating this team up causes his tainted voltage ability to be altered into life stealing orbs.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Zola fires a beam into the air that splits off in 5 directions. Each of the beams can bounce between walls and stun an enemy if the beam connects allowing him disable multiple enemies in an area. Stunned enemies will also be afflicted with reduced healing.

It's day 2 of Rivals week, and today's vanguard is the attorney at law,

She-Hulk

Jennifer Walters is Bruce Banner's cousin and was given her own hulk form after receiving a blood transfusion from Bruce. Luckily, due to the lesser amount of gamma that was used to give her this form, she has more control over herself when in her Hulk state. Allowing her to always be in this form, even during her day job as a lawyer, which comes in handy due to most of her clients being heroes and villians. She shares her HP amount with her cousin at 650.

[ ] Primary fire (right trigger):

Also like her cousin, She Hulk's primary fire features basic punching. This melee however is a 5 hit combo, with the 5th hit being a charged up punch that has extra impact force to it allowing her to send a slight shockwave out.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Jennifer pulls out a gavel that grows to a large size. She slams the hammer down in front of her for a big load of damage.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

In the comics, Jennifer was another 4th wall breaking character like Deadpool and Gwenpoole. One of her most notable forms of meta behavior was using comic panels as a form of fast travel. In game, this is replicated with an ability that allows her to place two doors on walls. When both doors are placed, any player on her team can interact with to go through to the second door. This functions similarly to Dr. Strange portals, except she needs to manually place these doors on her destinations.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Legal defense is a shielding ability that can be given to herself and nearby teammates. This shielding takes the form of 50 overhealth and a 2 second bubble of defense.

[ ] Ability 3 (Y/🔺️):

Jennifer can object to damage. When she uses objection, the next attack that hits her will be negated and instead damage the one who attacked her.

[ ] Passive ability

If Jen's killed in battle, her assailant is put on prosecution. A prosecuted enemy can be killed much easier when she goes for revenge against them.

[ ] Team up ability 1

Paired with another lawyer hero Daredevil, Jennifer is able to grant Daredevil her prosecution passive making him far more lethal on return.

[ ] Team up ability 2

Paired with her cousin, Walters is able to hold her secondary fire down as a super jump. When she lands, she once again slams down the hammer. Turning her into a meteor of justice.

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

Jennifer's ultimate can be shot forward and cage a target, (or a few targets based on proximity.) When this ability goes off, anyone caught will get put behind bars, and become prosecuted. Allowing her teammates to do increased damage against them.

I've been late on a few posts in my weekly concept kits series, but I had an idea to hopefully get me back on track. To celebrate the Marvel Rivals anniversary, I'll be temporarily changing my schedule from weekly, to daily posts!

Starting with who should have been past weeks custom hero kit,

Red Hulk

Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross is the Red Hulk, and arch nemesis to Bruce Banner. General Ross is an American soldier, and sometimes president who's life goal is hunting and killing the hulk. (Often his reasoning is because Hulk is in love with his daughter Betty Ross and he wants to protect her from the monster he sees Hulk as.) However in his quest to destroy the hulk, he became one himself. He'll have the same HP as his green counterpart at 650.

[ ] Primary fire 1 (right trigger):

Ross has 2 Primary fires. The first of which is simply just punching. However, Hulk has a rage meter when this Primary is active. When he reaches full rage in melee Primary, his fists catch fire and grow more powerful.

[ ] Primary fire 2 (right trigger):Ross can switch to his Shotgun for a range extension. This shotgun disables his rage meter in exchange for the range added by his bullets.

[ ] Basic melee 2 (right bumper):

When the shotgun is active, Ross's basic melee becomes smacking people around with the butt of the gun as he's holding it by the barrel like a sword.

[ ] Secondary fire (left trigger):

Like the Green Hulk, Ross has a super jump ability. The main difference between this jump and Bruce's, is that Ross can't hold onto buildings, but instead can burst through them if they're breakable.

[ ] Ability 1 (right bumper):

Ross has grenades that he can throw into battle. He's able to aim these similar to heroes like Squirrel girl.

[ ] Ability 2 (left bumper):

Ross stomps the ground sending forward a wave of fire.

[ ] Passive ability

As mentioned in his primary fire, he has the passive red hot rage. When using his basic melee primary fire, he grows more and more angry eventually catching on fire. When engulfed, his strength is at its maximum. Increasing his attack strength significantly. This rage meter gets set to zero if he switches to his Shotgun.

[ ] Team up ability

When paired with any member of the Thunderbolts, the Thunderbolt member gains an increased moral and flame based ability. (This ability varies between heroes. For example, Punisher would recive a fire bomb that lights enemies on fire, while someone like Baron Zemo would gain an ability to ignite his sword for more damage.)

[ ] Ultimate ability (both sticks pressed):

General Ross selects an area (in the same way heroes like Namor and Moon Knight do.) A drone strike is called on this area sending down bombs similar to the fists of Khonshu ultimate. However these bombs do less damage than the talons and cause smoke clouds when landing to inhibit vision. After the end of the strike, a small number of bombs remain on the site. These bombs are proximity activated, or damage activated. Meaning the area will still be dangerous even after the ults conclusion.

She-Hulk
