the bad news is that my mom was sad that her eggplants haven’t been growing; however, it turns out that the reason her eggplants haven’t been growing is because her eggplants were actually spinach. i've been thinking about it for a while actually i just never knew what i wanted it to be themed around

this is mostly just to remind me to delete almost every reblog and discourse post (which is actually bringing me a lot of stress from people who think my thoughts suck cause im right and they know it)

One thing about MRD I barely see anyone talk about is how rarely the word "mad" is used to refer to hallucinations and how instead its mainly used to refer to Mad Rat's tendency to put himself in dangerous and often high stakes situations in order to reach his goals, which means that not only did the writers not 'fix' Mad Rat's madness and have him instead clearly embrace it, but they went the extra mile and made it literally impossible to remove madness from Mad Rat without fundamentally altering his personality. They refused to go the predictable route and claim Mad Rat was "cured" when his hallucinations stopped, but they also wrote him so that madness is baked into his character. I think that fucking rules
