you know what happens when u spend almost all of ur free time either drawing or jacking off? wrist hurt

a small look into my sick and twisted mind
i do think what gets ignored about carrie as a character is that sheās an incredibly easy target to bully; sheās a chubby, sheltered acne ridden teenage girl who wears frumpy grandma clothes and regurgitates the jesus freak shit her violently abusive mother tells her. she has violent thoughts about her classmates and is uncomfortable to be around. sheās far more interesting being a victim thatās somewhat uncomfortable to be in the head of than a tragic waif. sheās not a martyr, sheās a child and a child whoās been victimised her whole life shouldnāt have to be kind and angelic to be recognised as a victim. suffering teenage girls shouldnāt just be presented on screen as toned down glamorous thin ophelias, suffering teenage girls can be fat and poor and think violently. i do think we need to examine why culturally we need teenage girls to be beautiful and kind to valorise their suffering and treat it as bad
i think we should start openly mocking male creatives who can't figure out how to write women. like actually i think it's embarrassing that it took elliot page transitioning for christopher nolan to give him a good role. why did it take like ten years to get the first female lead in a marvel movie? why is it a Known Fact that stephen king can't write women? why is 50% of the population omitted from large ensemble works? i asked my friend to name a movie directed by a man with a majority female cast and he said ghostbusters 2016. ghostbusters. ghostbusters. g
hereās my one whole discourse post for pride month. you fucks will never ever ever wean off the radfem shit if you keep trying to giveĀ ācis men are evilā nuance. no, itās not bad because they could be closeted or questioning, itās bad because gender essentialism is a fucking brain poison and it makes you stupid
this is ānot all menā cloaked in progressive-sounding vocabulary

one of my creative writing professors once said that to evaluate a work as good or not, first you ask what the work is attempting to do, and then you evaluate how well it does it. and this is how to judge everything from critical essays to romance novels to snack packaging to theory tracts.
i love writing out numbers and then putting them in parentheses like "one (1)" even when i dont need to i think its funny
