What's your F/O's favorite book genre? Do they like comics, thrillers, murder mysteries, perhaps even some romance? Maybe they prefer other forms of media, that's also an option!

For OC having selfshippers: Your f/o could listen to you talk about your OC's for hours if you wanted to. They'd ask about them, compliment your art/writing about them, basically, they'd to anything to support you.
