Top: in World 8-4 in Super Mario Bros., there is an underwater section in a castle, the only one of its kind anywhere in the game. Normally, the player would simply emerge from the entrance pipe and continue to the right. However, if the player attempts to interact with the pipe, Mario will become hurt or even killed by something seemingly invisible.

Bottom: if Mario is Fire Mario, shooting a fireball at the pipe will also destroy the invisible object and award 200 points.

This is actually a Piranha Plant which is invisible due to being incorrectly drawn behind the water background instead of in front of it. The reason the Piranha Plant is there to begin with is because every single upright pipe in the game that is not in World 1-1 is programmed to spawn a Piranha Plant if there are enough object slots open (not too many other enemies are already loaded).

This results in some pipes appearing to not have Piranha Plants during regular gameplay (as they are usually reached when there are already too many other enemies loaded), but even they can be made to spawn Piranha Plants if Mario systematically defeats and unloads all enemies around them. This invisible Piranha Plant is simply a combination of this implementation and a graphical oversight.

i wanted to compile as many outfits as i could find from some of our main characters to summarize what we know about their general fashion senses :] to make it easier to figure out what to draw them wearing. drawing from both the anime & official art- not the manga sorry, i don't have that saved & on-hand. ignoring official art where everyone's wearing something on theme (ie the ones where they all have hawaiian shirts, or suits, etc), and not putting school uniforms or pajamas in either.

i like mob's outfits a lot. the monkey shirt is so important, please note that the sleeves of the monkey shirt sleeves came pre-ripped, they're supposed to be like that.

hoodies boy, boy of one million hoodies. also has a couple of the same longsleeve sweatshirt+striped sweatpants in different colors that he only wears at home (there's at least 5 separate occasions where he has those on at home).

tome has unfortunately few outfits in anime or in official art (relatively speakng, at least) besides her middle & high school uniforms, but she seems to like overalls!

he owns at least 3 discrete black leather jackets. also i maintain that shou stole that pink hoodie from ritsu. which ritsu in turn stole from mob (see: above screenshot from season 1 of mob wearing pink hoodie)

this ones a snippet from a ONE artwork of a bunch of characters wearing the monkey shirt (i think for a merch release, hence why the sleeves are not pre-ripped), in various states of embarrassment and distress. look at how happy shou is. look at his stance. he fucking loves monkey shirt. this is SO important

Mentioned to my mom I'm asexual a couple months ago and today.... we got into the car and she hit me with, "So you use they/them pronouns now?"

I went, "What. no. she/her."

"How does that work? With she/her/hers and they/them?"

I stared at her. "What are you talking about?"

"Well you came out as-" and I said, "I'm asexual."

She replied, "Like an amoeba, I know."

"Oh. My god. No. Mom. It doesn't- it's not the asexual you learned about in biology. I didn't come out as a single celled organism."

With heavy relief, she said "Oh, it has a different meaning?"

"Yes, mom."
