“…I get that.” He reluctantly agreed, wanting to say something different though, something better than just I know. “People might make unwanted comments, but as long as you’re happy with it…Are you happy with it?” Nodding slightly, he realized they had a point and hoped that sort of verbal harassment wouldn’t take place. He’d like to say the students around campus were mature, but not everyone was.
“ Yes, I am! It has a meaning to me, even if many wouldn’t understand it- I am happy with it, yes.” they felt the need to say it twice for no reason at all. “ I think it suits me, after all I’m not one ot have a dragon even if I’m hoping to be a dragon keeper.”

“ It has a big meaning to me, yes.” they laughed and waved their hand as it was alright because it really was. “ I’d never have a piercing if that makes you feel better. They’re just not my thing. Thinking of getting another tat though.”

Hell, look at me and all of my non-significant tattoos,” she said with a grin as she proceeded to lift up her shirt just to show her side which read “ grl pwr ” in bold black ink. “ See– this one hasn’t got any meaning but it’s probably my favorite. ”
“ That’s significant- doesn’t it mean girl power? It has a pretty strong meaning and I like it.” Alice confessed as they looked back up to the blonde with a smile. “ How many tattoos do you have? It’s my first one and to be honest...I think I’ll have one more at least. Have no idea why honestly.”

“It shouldn’t matter what other people think, so long as you’re happy with it.” There would always be people who found the negatives to comment on or who happen to be old school when it came to tattoos–that the youth were ruining their bodies with them. It was a matter of opinion. Mercer always thought it was cool to put art on the body. “What way would they have taken it?”
“ I know, but it still feels weird when people comment.” they had a pretty bad history with comments and being confident- hell, Alice has never been confident. “ uhm, no matter. some just have more..pervert minds and would think of something else.”
