“Dark” does not mean bad.
“Light” does not mean good.
Please stop using “black” as a synonym for evil.

I love seeing Black Anges & Scottish history on my dash but not the comment “this history was written by the Scots, so take with some salt”. Every history is biased obviously, if it has been a history written by the opposing English it’d have been just as much so.
This isn’t me trying to be a dick to the artist/OP, I’m more just wanting to highlight that all history is biased. It feels like most places I look Scottish history has some form of caveat like “take with a pinch of salt” when it’s rare to hear than reading ‘mainstream’ British history.
I’ve seen this post a few times and I’ve never even noticed that note. I went to check if other rp entries had similar notes on them (I figured it was just the cover the op if anything was wrong) but I can’t see any other entries with a note like that.
No ‘this was written by the French so take it with a pinch of salt.’
Why is it only Scottish people who aren’t supposed to trust our own history?
👆🏻 precisely. The OP isn’t the one really at fault it’s more the way in which our history gets written about; especially as it’s written very often by outsiders. Our history written by us is no more biased than French history written by the French, German history written by Germans, Norse history by Norwegians, etc.
I agree, I saw that and was like ‘uh, why?’, I dinnae ken if maybe it’s because people think we’re more likely to exaggerate, i.e. the fact that it’s a common thing for Irish people to do and the mixing of cultures. Yet even so, that’s mostly in retellings of personal stories. As you say, historically speaking we’re no less inclined towards bias than anybody else. It’s kind of insulting that it can come across as kind of 'Oh look the Scots, putting on airs again!’ uh no, U think not. O.o ranting aside, yay for Black Agnes! And snideness about rhyming aside, it probably had iambic pentameter in Scots. :D
When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.

Cleaning your aura
The aura can become dirty and cracked, because of this negative energy and attachments can latch on more easily. It can happen from a negative environment, people, or from drugs and consuming alcohol. It's important to cleanse the aura at least once a month. There is a variety of ways to do this. Herbal combination of lemon, lavender and eucalyptus ( you can also use the oils). Grind with epsom salts and add to a cleansing bath. Stones: flourite, labradorite, or auralite 23. If you're versed in energy work it's easy to do with reiki as well.
A few wands I’ve made for a metaphysical fair tomorrow. Hope they all find good homes
Note to self: Valerian root smells like literal ass.
hi please reblog if you are a witch who is 20 or older ✨
The solstice has passed and we are now in summer, the time of the sun. This is the time to learn, grow, and play.
If you wish to strengthen your connection to the fey, find an elm tree. Meditate under it and listen to her whispers.
Witch tip
If you need to get your inventing across better write it on a piece of paper, burn it, and add the ashes to the spell you're working. This also works with the names of those you're sending the spell to.
Necromancer: Did you know that dinosaur skeletons in museums are usually fake casts?
Someone: Did the Internet tell you that?
Necromancer: Nope, just a series of disappointing museum trips.
Vinegar
Vinegar can be used for many things. It can break hexes and curses, purify and protect the home. It can be used in floor washes and baths. It can also be used to bring chaos to enemies.
