Happy holidays from the Philippines! 🎀🌠
I would like to preface by wishing everyone a great end of year celebration! Everyone has just been amazing through their support and we are beyond grateful.
Sadly, on behalf of our family, I am once again asking for help. After a tough year and a super typhoon that destroyed our home, we are unfortunately at wits end allover again.
My government scholarship — that was supposed to be used not only for my studies, but also for our everyday expenses like food, electricity and water, AND the holidays so we can also celebrate — was delayed even more. It's been seven months and we might be looking for another 2-3 month wait. Because of this, our family will not be celebrating Christmas this year. But I hope that maybe we might be able to have something for the upcoming New Year's.
This is the link to our PAYPAL 🎀 — and any amount you can spare is a great help to our family during this time. A reblog is also always appreciated!
Again, thank you very much for taking the time to read this. Happy holidays, everyone! ♡
Please donate or share to help Raven out!
Thank you so much to everyone who has been passing this post around! Every reblog and every donation means the world 🤍
If you can, please also reblog this update on our situation. It's been the roughest year of our life but we are now three months out of an abusive home, and it is a decision we do not regret.
However, with our mom out of the job and all three of us still studying, we are struggling to get by with only scholarship funds to keep an entire family afloat. In no more than a year from now, my sister and I would be graduating and finally working - hopefully as a veterinarian and a professor, respectively. But we genuinely need all the support we can get to keep going until then. Thank you, everyone. 🪷

PS. I hope everyone who is struggling in an abusive relationship like our mother can also find their courage to stand up for themselves and their loved ones. You are not alone. 🤍
Sorry everyone for spamming your feeds again with this post. The scholarship stipend that our government provides is really late and we were informed it's because of poor management in the upper branch. Students are suffering because of corruption in the higher ups.
My sister and I have resorted to taking side-jobs to make sure our youngest sibling will have things for the coming school year, and our single mom is doing what she can to budget with very little. But everything is barely enough to make ends meet for money and rent, especially with the loans our father has left us.
If you can, please share and reblog this post. Any amount of donation or manner of help means the absolute world.
Thank you, everyone. 💌

A bad update: after the holidays, our abusive father kicked our mother out of the house. She has our 12-year-old brother with her, and both my sister and I are planning to come with.
Our father is a registered person with disabilities, which is the reason my mother had stayed with him despite all the verbal and emotional abuse she had gone through for the last 25 years. He constantly berated and mocked my mother who is his sole caretaker. My mother is the only one with a job and she also takes care of the house, their children, and her husband. And yet our father had done nothing but constantly destroy her resolve and step allover her back. We love our father and our mother loves him - people have seen me make these kinds of posts for his sake, and even our educational funds are being used for him. She stayed to take care of him and because of their children — but last Tuesday, she had had enough.
After she left, for the last three days, he had continuously harassed her to make her come back, even threatening to take our brother from his school in order to get to her. He is a bully, a manipulator and a sorry excuse of a man. We are scared for his health, but he uses that guilt in order to get people on his side. He doesn't even care for his own health, using the money for his medicine to buy cigarettes and then blame us for not taking care of him. He's now targeting his children in an attempt to force our mother to go back, with no signs of relenting.
I'm reblogging this post of mine to maybe help my mother and my younger siblings even just a little. They are currently at my grandmother's but my mother is now jobless with a son that is still in seventh grade.
And I wish that everyone who had gone through or is going through something similar will find their own peace. After all these years, my mother found her voice again. We can do it, too. Thank you, everyone. ♡

⛑️Please help our family get through this calamity‼️
Hello, everyone! This is my second-ever post asking for mutual aid, but this is the first time we are genuinely in a state of panic.
Super Typhoon Uwan (International name Fung-wong) landed in the Philippines last November 9, lasting for almost two days, and my family and I are dealing with the effects it left behind. We were in the extremely high-risk warning areas during this time, with typhoon wind signals that reached almost 184km/h. The country itself is still recovering from the last typhoon, Tino/Kalmaegi, and has already declared a National State of Calamity. (DOST-PAGASA and National News)
Thankfully, our family is safe. But after the initial downpour, the winds left considerable damage to our home. It has torn apart the entire half of our house and dragged the roof down with it. Given our current financial situation, my family currently lacks the funds to fix anything AND buy emergency food/medicine while the city recovers; as well as no means of work while the powerlines are still being repaired. My family and I just really need to make sure we have enough funds to get through until we get back on our feet.
We would greatly appreciate any form of help! Even aid in spreading this post will mean the world. Thank you, and please stay safe out there!
---------
Some platforms do not work for us in the Philippines, but I do have PAYPAL and KOFI! I also added QR Codes to GCash and Landbank Philippines below the cut. 🙏🏾🤍
I also attached more images for proof below the cut. Again, thank you very much and stay safe! ♡
UPDATE: As per advice, we added QR codes for Landbank Philippines and GCash under the cut 🙏🏾🤍
Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone for boosting and sending aid! Currently, we have cleaned up and salvaged what we can. Everyone is safe, including family, friends, and our pets!
However, we truly are at wits' end on how to get back to working or find funds to keep the family afloat until the end of the year. My mother is a seamstress who does her work at home and, and our dad can no longer do his routes as a driver ever since his being disabled a few years back. The typhoon really forcefully set us so far back on whatever savings we had, rendering us unable to buy any supplies for Mom's job or even maintenance medicine for our father.
Please keep on sharing this post. And I wish the best for everyone else who is dealing with the after-effects of Typhoon Tino and Uwan here in the Philippines!!
