Hanzo smelled like rain. Something full of promise, of renewal and vitality. The sly smile that pushed at the corners of his mouth, or the way he would laugh with his whole body-- entirely charming. There'd always been a palpable magnetism between them but McCree was afraid. There was this threat that neither of them would make it back alive from a mission, or that their respective traumas would make love a fruitless endeavor.

But McCree supposed that's why they called it falling in love; because it was unexpected and you could do little to stop it. He first felt it like a flutter in his gut-- every time he would look at Hanzo, it was like his gut was trying to whisper something to him. That was frightening, a Southern man felt his deepest emotions not in heart but in his gut....or something. Regardless of stupid idioms, McCree knew he was well and truly screwed. He'd never expected Hanzo to want to reciprocate but the archer did anyway and McCree thought he could die of happiness right there.

Love had this funny habit of making you feel invulnerable, that nothing in the world could stand between you and the person you love, that every force in the universe existed to keep you two together. He still believed that, even bleeding out with a bullet deep in his throat, McCree still believed that.

He heard Hanzo's voice, felt hands slipping on the blood covering his chest, trying to cut the flow but McCree knew where he'd been shot and he knew he wouldn't last. The pain was an afterthought now, something like a background character in this live story and McCree wanted to finish strong with loving words and a hand brushing Hanzo's tears away.

Instead he gurgled, choking on his own blood, unable to move a muscle as Hanzo wept viciously and tried with shaking hands to keep McCree's life in his veins. He felt himself slip. Vaguely, he recognized the soft scent of rain.

Life Update + Hello New Followers!!! :'O <33

Hey guys! Just wanted to let y'all know what's goin on and the tea is that I'm still in the process of figuring out my school life (which consists of 18hrs in uni classes, an internship that requires minimum 20hrs a week, RA responsibilities that are an addition 15-20hrs and a part-time job) and restoring life to my traumatized city. I'm a survivor of hurricane Harvey which is p dope and I'm out every Saturday helping my community rebuild. IS A LOT!!! But I'm doing my best and trying to find the time to write or even just headcanon a little. Thank y'all for being so sweet and patient-- I love interacting with y'all and I really want to do that again soon!!

Guys, the first images of Irma’s level of devastation are coming out of Barbuda and it’s heartbreaking. The President of Barbuda says that 90% of the island is uninhabitable, upwards of 60% of the TOTAL population are now homeless because the hurricane destroyed virtually every building and home on the island, and that the estimated damage is valued at no less than $200 million dollars. That’s money a small island like that doesn’t have. They’re saying it’s going to take years to rebuild and Hurricane Jose is right behind Irma on the same path which means they could be hit twice. This is just one of the islands being affected.

Please, show up for the Caribbean like you did for Houston. There is no safety net for any of these islands including mine. They’ll rely entirely on foreign aid. Find local charities or global trustworthy charities (NOT the Red Cross) and make a donation asking them to aid the Caribbean. There’s whole countries being turned into rubble with no financial means to repair their infrastructures. They’re going to need help.

If there is a note or comments section on their donation page please do let them know that you would want your money to go to their Caribbean relief efforts. Houston and Florida have the US government backing them in whatever they will need but these islands will have very little except for these charities to fall back if they have any hope of rebuilding what seems to be entire countries in some cases. For the people who lost everything even a few bucks will go a long way. 

For the most part I would suggest staying away from privately launched GoFundMes unless you know the person directly. Ultimately, you just never know where those funds are going to end up and if your money will be used wisely. Sure, the same can be said for charity organizations but at least there is a better shot at possibly helping through them. The five listed above are world known and have been studied by charity oversight organizations. It’s as close to perfect as we’re going to get.
