If its possible for the characters in the game to actually adjust the world around them just by wishing it (kingers butterfly, Jax's keys, gangles tomygun etc) then does that mean Caine isn't an AI hes just a player who realised early on he can manipulate the game to his will and made himself ringmaster?

all right, actual question: What led you to incorporate elements of Christian mythos into this story? A particular life experience? Your own beliefs? Or, much like Anno with Evangelion, "it looked cool lol"?

Joke answer;

Serious answer; My fathers parents side of the family were very religious and very superstitious. They'd go on about all the weird and crazy stuff that would happen if we didn't praise the lord etc. It was quite an interesting time in my youth. I just find it fascinating how people and go on blind faith and trust in the words of a book without hard concrete evidence. We'll be exploring stuff like that later in the series.
