yo where's that post I commented on about how I still like the Rocky Horror Show/Rocky Horror Picture Show because while it's problematic queer media it's problematic queer media we made? because I feel like I skipped a pretty important bit of that: at the end of the movie the framing still implies that we're meant to feel sympathy for Frank in spite of his many crimes. dare I say it might even count as a Shylock situation, only I'm not sure even that covers it since Richard O'Brien is openly nonbinary. and of course there's the metaphorical story of Rocky Horror which is that this is just what it is to go through a queer sexual awakening. it is loud and confusing and terrifying and wonderful and full of death and sex and trying to get back home but maybe you can't anymore.

also, my dash is all the time full of people saying they want to eat their lovers but as soon as Frank does it we're tossing around words like "murder" and "cannibalism" like c'mon guys.

Cat got your tongue? - (T) Estinien/Aymeric

When they last saw one another, it had been in the infirmary following the dragoon’s possession. Aymeric was steadfast at his bedside, clutching his hand and biting back tears as he sat vigilant and restless. He hardly slept then, either. Instead he whispered prayers and muttered confessions of love and devotion through choked sobs. It kept him up to wonder if Estinien had heard his desperate pleas, and if that was why he hadn’t returned. Much like a cat, he frightened easily and was left bristling and wary at the first sign of change. Estinien seemed a new man when he awoke, no longer bound by the shackles of his vengeance, his grief, or the slow corruption of his aether. Had they been alone together at that moment, Aymeric was sure he would have kissed him.

Aymeric is left with big and difficult feelings after Estinien left that infirmary, having confessed to him while he was unconscious but never getting the opportunity to talk things out. Now, they do.

Cuz that's literally happening to sea lions in San Francisco right now

So there's two species of sea lion in North America: the California sea lion, ranging along California (including Baja) but not ranging into the north coast or into oregon

And the Stellar's sea lion, which are WAY bigger and live in Washington, British Columbia, and Alaska

A male Stellars sea lion showed up in SF like a month ago and just kinda. Didn't know what to do, and joined a colony of California sea lions, and is just kinda chilling there now.
