I was lucky enough to experience this in the cinema because I’m on vacation in London atm.

I saw a phone once or twice during the first episode. NOTHING during the second. Everyone was focused, not even snacking or something.

There was cheering when Jodie appeared and when she said I should tell Yaz.

Fearful gasps when Ncuti said I liked this face and again when he started glowing.

When he regenerated everyone gasped

And then everyone just sat around in silence. Even after the credits/ the trailer.

Otherwise there were a few quieter reactions. Like when Anita appeared or when Mel met the rani.
