Something that the CAOS novels do is to expand on the personalities of certain characters. Like for example making Mary Wardwell pitiable to the point of being pathetic.
The third novel reveals that Elspeth is a VERY blunt person. She just says what she thinks no matter how inappropriate, uncomfortable or insensitive it is.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Comics VS Show
The Comics take Place in the 1960s - The Show takes Place in the Present.
In the Comics Rosalind is a white redhead and Sabrina’s Rival - In the Show, she is black and Sabrina’s BFF.
In the Comics Edward Spellman has been turned into a tree and Diana Spellman has been committed to a mental asylum - In the Show they died in a Plane Crash.
In the Comics Harvey gets killed by witches, because he witnessed Sabrina’s baptism, Sabrina tries to resurrect him with the help of Madame Satan, Betty and Veronica; but she ends up bringing back her father in Harvey’s body and he eats Harvey’s parents. - In the show Harvey’s brother Tommy gets killed because he’s descended from Witch Hunters. Sabrina resurrects him by sacrificing Agatha, but Harvey is forced to kill him again, because he didn’t have a soul.
In the Comics The Weird Sisters say that witches and humans need to inter-mingle, because otherwise witchery is going to die out in 3 generations at most - In the show they hate Sabrina for being half-mortal.
In the Comics Zelda believes that Dogs are too stupid to be Familiars - In the show her Familiar is a Dog whom she adores.
In the Comics Zelda believes that Witchcraft should be taught at Home and everything else should be taught at Public School- In the show she wanted to homeschool Sabrina and then sent her to the Academy of Unseen Arts, when she was 16.

In the Comics Madame Satan is Edward’s Ex-Girlfriend Iola, who teleported herself to a Lion pit; because Edward dumped her for Diana, she gets freed from Hell by Betty and Veronica and plans to take revenge on the Spellman Family - In the Comics she is Lilith and wants to corrupt Sabrina into becoming a servant of the Dark Lord.
In the Comics Madame Satan befriends Sabrina’s teacher Evelyn Gardenia and puts her into a Coma, where she dreams of being a movie star; she then takes a position as a substitute teacher under the name of Evangeline Porter - In the Show Madame Satan kills Sabrina’s teacher Mary Wardwell and steals her Identity.
In Riverdale Season 4 there was a Newspaper article saying that the Pagan Carnival was coming to Riverdale and I’ve been actually picturing a scenario where the Pagans actually do come to Riverdale and the Riverdale people visit the Carnival; to distract themselves from the stressful situations they’re currently in, and even though can’t put their finger on it. Betty, Veronica, Toni and Jughead each have a feeling that there’s something off about the people who work at the Carnival.

Witches in the Mortal World
Witches in the show live very isolated from mortals to the point where they’re completely unaware of things like pop culture, lasagna or the Internet. The only exceptions are the Spellmans, who due to the fact that Sabrina is half-mortal and that they run a Mortuary are much more aware of Mortal things than other witches are and they even have a certain fondness for some of them. Hilda likes romance novels and spooky sitcoms, Zelda is a big fan of all contact sports and likes movies, Ambrose also likes comics and often spends the entire night watching things on his laptop.
However, in the original Pilot draft. The Weird Sisters were at the movie theater watching Night of the Living Dead, which implies that the witches were originally not as isolated from the mortal world as they are in the show. They were also described looking like private school girls, which brings me to my other point.
In the Pilot draft; Ambrose states that Sabrina would acquire power, wealth and influence once she’s attending the Academy of Unseen Arts. I do like the idea of the witches belonging to the wealthier part of Greendale, it would match with the whole private school aesthetic and the fact that in the novels, the witches are often viewed as glamorous, or big city people by the mortals of Greendale.
The Wealthy and Upper-Middle Class People of Riverdale are secretly drug dealers, serial killers and mafiosos, while the wealthy and upper-middle class people of Greendale are Witches.
