Paraded; Kylie&RDJ
Kylie lowered her gaze to the ground with a shy smile before she could meet Robertās eyes again. āMaybe?ā There was some good and bad to his statement though. It was true, people werenāt paying too much attention. That would have made the embarrassment much easier to deal with and brush off. But because they werenāt paying attention, it most likely would have ended with her being trampled. āItās okay. I think I like the way it turned out much better,ā Kylie partially joked, waving her hand. She laughed at Robertās confession of not being a good dancer. āWhat? Iām sure you can shake a tail feather.ā Kylie slightly put her arms up and put on a dramatic dance, laughing all the while. āBut no. Probably not something I want to be involved in either. Not without a warning, at least. I mean, wedding, flash mob, whateverāwe would need to rehearse first.ā She turned serious once the word āmurderersā slipped from the manās mouth though, placing a hand over her chest. āIām going to pretend like you didnāt just tell me thereās a possibility of a murderer among us.ā Turning playful again, she pointed a finger at him. āYouāre my first suspect though.ā
Kylie gave him an odd look at his attempt of enthusiasm. āRight⦠Not one for adventures?ā She started walking down the sidewalk, letting it sort of guide her to wherever, figuring theyād find a place eventually as they kept chatting. āI canāt say Iāve been around this part either. But thereās a lot of London that I havenāt seen.ā She flashed a smile over at him with a nod. āI did. I did already know that. But thank you for the proper introduction.ā She laughed, shaking his hand. As they rounded the corner and came upon a new street, for some reason or another, one of the buildings caught her eye. Kylie slowed down, walking over towards the windows to steal a quick peek before looking back to Robert. āI think this place could work.ā It read Earl of Essex in gold above the doorway, and by what Kylie could tell, they werenāt crowded and she could see the wall of alcohol. āLetās give it a shot, shall we?ā The actress grabbed the door and offered Robert to go in before her. Surely they could get a drink and find a cozy spot to settle down. Ā
āWell, Iām one for adventures, but Iām not feeling up to it todayā Robert said with a small smirk and shrug of his shoulders, though his eyes fell down towards the sidewalk. Going to London was enough of an adventure for the older male for a while now. When she said she didnāt really know where they were either, it made him feel slightly better. At least he wasnāt the only one who was completely lost in London. He didnāt really know how long it was going to take him to fully understand it, but it really didnāt matter in the end. He wasnāt planning on living here, only taking a little bit of an extended vacation. āOh youāre welcome. Iām not as much of an egomaniac as people play me out to be, including myself. I mostly do it for fun.ā He said with a small laugh.
When they stop in front of the doorway, he glanced into the establishment before looking at Kylie with a nod of approval. āLooks nice to meā He said as he reached for the doorway and pulled the door open, holding it for Kylie before walking in behind her. It was warm and there didnāt seem like there was many people in there, which was nice, but he couldnāt help but wonder If most of the people were in the parade they just managed to weasel their way out of. Looking around for a seat, Robert decided the best place would be at the bar. Taking a seat, he tapped his fingers against its surface as he contemplated what he wanted before deciding on something simple. āRum with whiskey please.ā He said as he waved down the bartender.
