OOC: Well,

After four years in this group it’s time for me to say goodbye to you all, but not forever just for now until life is sorted and I have the proper time to give you all the attention you deserve. It’s not an easy choice but choices have to be made even when they are hard. That sounds much deeper than what the situation calls for but I think it relates. My advice and motto has been for people to put life before Rp, and it’s time I follow those words of advice for myself because soon enough I will be much busier than I have been with a promotion and a second job. Rping was a hobby, and a distraction to begin with but it’s also become so much more. I’ve made a family and one I have to leave now. So trust me that I care very much about this group and it hurts to say that I have to go. I would love to stay but I can’t because I love this Rp to bits and have made friends and some for years so far. I do hope those friendships will continue to live outside of this group. 

If anyone wants to stay in touch I just want to say that this blog will still be active and my ask will be open. If that sounds confusing – well, I am gone but I have my side blogs that I will be using. (You can take me out of Rp but you can’t take rp out of me) I’ll be moving to Indie Rping because it gives me a pace I can have without worriyng about tending to an activity rule. Not that it’s bad. I just would need to be on a constant semi- hiatus but that’s no way to RP in a group. I can’t give you the fair amount while staying here but there are among other reasons to leave too.  I wish you all the best. Have fun! Treat each other kindly.  (because I might just lurk around to make sure you do)  Send me messages. I will always answer or just come to give me a bother for no reason at all. I would love it. Farewell to London II Solo Para II Dockerbatch

It was time to move forward and no better place was with his family, himself and Michelle had grown their family from two adults and two furry children to two adults, two furry children and an infant. They had welcomed Cieran into the world only two months ago and he was already growing into a strong growing baby. Soon enough there was the time to decide what to do and where to go, life and work now centered on a small being Benedict and Michelle had strong thoughts about how to raise. London was busy and work was consuming, his first years were important in his ability to bond with his parents and though they both loved to work it may have been time to adjust to a new life. After a period of consideration and proper planning, they had sat down and talked about where they were heading as a family. No more talk about careers but family and raising their little boy.

They began planning they had planned to move to Ireland to be home around grandparents and a quieter place to live and work without the hustle and bustle of London but he would still return for work when he was required, just as much as she planned to but they would limit and schedule their time more wisely for family. Of course, she had her requests and something he find fairly amusing to hear in the suggestion she gave him when they spoke about their move.

A grey cottage and a large plot of land enough for the dogs to have their run. He was fond of the image and readily agreed and soon enough it was put into motion. They had explored property to purchase and hand found their luck on a plot not far from Michelle’s parents and her gran, they could see them as much as they liked to – even his parents could have a stay and join them. His mother and father had yet to see the vast lands that Michelle had shown him on his first visit to the country. It was where he had proposed and it felt only right to be here, to live and raise their son. Maybe, he could convince her to grow it even larger there.

They were leaving London and together they were now saying goodbye to the city. London had been home for some time and brought them together in the beginning but they had more to life for, a child that depended on them. Once, there had been a question of career over his personal life- a terrible time he had to find a good balance but with Michelle. However, the choice was easily made in the end. He only needed her, her and their son to be happy – he never needed awards to make him happy or to accumulate on his mantle to see what he had accomplished. He could still work and be happy where he wanted to be and that was with family.

With a moving truck packed with their belongings they were bringing to London and a car of their own he would drive to transport the family, he and Michelle looked at their Hampstead home that they had lived together for a year. They had moved together after marriage and were now moving to together to be a family. It was bittersweet. Benedict smiled at her sweetly with Cieran in her arms bundled up in one of the sweaters she demanded to put him in. Christmas at least would be warm for him, he thought, though the horrid pattern he would have to tolerate.

Benedict leaned over kissing her temple and played with Ciers fingers as he grasped at one of his own.This was exactly it, the thing that he had waited for since he had thought of life as a father and a husband. They were making the proper choice for their family. “Are you ready to leave now, sweetheart?” asking his wife as she looked at him and cupped a hand to his cheek. She had noticed his sadness but also the excitement. The only answer didn’t need to be spoken but she answered him anyways and pecked his lips.

“I can’t believe you put him that sweater,” he moaned under his breath walking off to the car – “you’re just jealous” – of itchy terrible jumpers?” he was countered by Michelle’s bony and sharp elbow, he grunted. “Cier, your mother never plays nice,” they argued, trailing back and forth with taunts and teasing, and insults on her end on their way to the Ireland.

Old friends II Sienna and Benedict

Being home and free of work for the last two months had been a blessing in surprise for Benedict, and for a man who loved to work and nothing but he was finding it all the more difficult to not be at home. His now month old son and Michelle were the only people he needed in his life but he did miss his work, off and on it came to mind – needing something to do and keep busy. It wasn’t that he didn’t love being a father. He absolutely loved it but there was restlessness between the time he slept and for hours he did that. Cieran had surprised both him and Michelle for being such a wonderful little babe. Though with that restlessness he couldn’t bring himself to be far and was fortunate to give Michelle to see friend, to shop or go to spa and do whatever she liked to for the next few hours as he visited a friend with Cieran. Their two dogs to be looked after on their own, kept busy with treats and each other.

He’d packed a bag with nappies, extra clothes – with the help of his wife she packed the essentials needed for him. Both ready to leave the home he gave her a lingering peck and wished Michelle a safe drive, commenting under his breath about her skills – and receiving a prod in the ribs for it. Cieran was in his baby seat in his car was sat with his stuffed toy asleep and unaware of his ridiculous parents. He climbed into the drivers seat and turned round to check on his son, fixing the blanket to see him better. It was a quiet and slower drive than he would have taken but he wanted to be, cautious, he was careful to have his son in the car.

They arrived in a short half hours time and he pulled up to park, sitting for a moment before he turned the engine and unbuckled before taking his son from his seat and carrying him within the carrier to the door. A bag slung over the other shoulder. He heard a small cry and saw his son with son eyes open, looking up at him and the light – though it was grayer than blue it seemed to bother with him. “I’m sorry sweetheart. We’ll be inside in a moment to visit daddy’s friend. Forgive me?” he cooed the infant and knocked on the door.

Oh she’ll be wonderful. Cieran may be young but he is active when he’s not sleeping. Michelle and I are lucky he’s been so well. Would today be too soon? I could be over with him in a little while.

If I were to mock you too, I’d ask if you have friends, but I know you do, so dont you worry! I think we all have the the tendency to not keep in touch with friends due to how hectic life gets, especially as a new dad!

You would mock me anyhow, Sienna. Let’s not deny ourselves here. I agree but I have missed a proper catch up. I expected it to be hectic and without working it’s all I’ve done. Though I do wonder if you would like to meet Cier and have a small play date with your daughter. I’ve missed you two. I’m sure Michelle would appreciate the break.
