Title: Rachel Ward
Summary: Ever since she was child, Jem has kept a secret: Whenever she meets someone new, no matter who, as soon as she looks into their eyes, a number pops into her head. That number is a date: the date they will die. Burdened with such awful awareness, Jem avoids relationships. Until she meets Spider, another outsider, and takes a chance. The two plan a trip to the city. But while waiting to ride the Eye ferris wheel, Jem is terrified to see that all the other tourists in line flash the same number. Today's number. Today's date. Terrorists are going to attack London. Jem's world is about to explode!
Review: Itās been a while since I read this book, and it still leaves a fairly lasting imprint on me. Iāve seen a lot of negative reviews about it, but thing is, itās not a bad book. It has a bit of a predictable steak, that I wonāt deny, but if youāre like me youāll find it pleasurable, it left me with an uncompleted feeling of dread almost. I honestly feel like this book is so worth the read, it gives the reader a sense of attachment to characters, and a view on what some reality really is like.

Review: Ok so Iām going to be honest when I was first reading this book, I was really excited because I absolutely loved the cover, but it was a bit slow at the beginning. But it didnāt let down, it soon got better. The story itself makes you think like, āWow, am I that person?ā or it was just me :pā But it really hits you harder and harder as you get into the book. But I honestly donāt have many words to say about it, its just one of those books you read and experience. It seems very mysterious at first but clues are slowly revealed till the big picture shows.

āā...Hey Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for me, in the jingle jangle morning, Iāll cine followinā you...ā -Bob Dylan
Inside my dream sits a song, way back in the shadows. It calls to me, and I wait to know it in the daylight, wanting ti oull it like taffy from the haunts of my mind. Somehow, my memories begin with this song. I canāt seem to put an image to it; itās a memory blurred and swirling, with no shape...ā
Sorry for the inactivity itās the last week of school and Iāve got exams Iāll try to read more over the summer :3 Title: Goose GirlāØAuthor: Shannon Hale
Summary: Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee, Crown Princess of Kildenree, spends the first years of her life under her auntās guidance learning to communicate with animals. As she grows up Ani develops the skills of animal speech, but is never comfortable speaking with people, so when her silver-tongued lady-in-waiting leads a mutiny during Aniās journey to be married in a foreign land, Ani is helpless and cannot persuade anyone to assist her.
Review: like all books for me it has a slightly boring beginning, well in my opinion anyway. The book starts with Ani a princess who wouldnāt open her eyes when she was born. The person who woke her up was her aunt. Her aunt teaches her things about language that scare the other people. Ani learns to speak with some animals which is amazing for her, but an embarrassment to her mom. Her mom for aides her from doing it again and slowly gets rid of the people around her. Soon she is only left with her personal maid and father and of course her horse Falada (I already returned the book so excuse some mistakes ) but you know I wonāt explain to much and allow you to read it yourself, after Aniās father died, her mother reveals that she had arranged a marriage to the prince to a neighboring kingdom. So from there it goes downhill the fighting makes your heart cry and your souls die and by plot twists you find a kind heart and messed up romance. By the end of the book youāre wishing people dead and for the heart to choose the one. You see underdog action and it makes everyone happy :>

Title-Beastly
Author- Alex Finn
Summary-Ā āI am a BEAST. A beast. Not quite wolf or bear, gorilla or dog but a horrible new creature who walks upright-- a creature with fangs and claws and hair springing from every pore. I am a monster.
Ā Ā Ā Ā You think Iām talking fairy tales? No way. The place is New York City. The time is now. Itās no deformity, no disease. And Iāll stay this way forever-- ruined-- unless I can break the spell.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Yes, the spell, the one the witch in my English class cast on me. Why did she turn me into a beast who hide by day and prowls by night? Iāll tell you. Iāll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and the perfect life. And then, Iāll tell you how I became perfectly . . . beastly.ā
Ā Review- So i was first intrigued by the books cover, which is suprising since the moral of the book is not to judge a book by its cover. :P Although it may seem like a cliche romance book at first glance, it has a very deep meaning and some pretty sensitive topics. What shocked me though was how much I didn't see, you may think that it was obvious, but as you read through you realize how much things like this happen. The book itself starts off with an interesting ātext convoā although itās more of a group chat you get a glimpse of several other characters that the story doesn't revolve around but, crucial for certain development in the story. The book is separated into six parts each with a varying amount of chapters. There is also an epilogue where you get to see the characters and the aftermath of the solution. Which on a personal note I thought was extremely cute. On a side note this book mentions a lot of different classic books, so thatās very interesting to see how the author incorporates themes from those novels into her own.
Rating- 5/5 (Although Iām not sure accurate my ratings may be :p)
Excerpt from the story- (These will not always be included)
Ā Ā Ā Ā āI lived in darkness now. I started during the day, walking the streets and riding the subways at night, when no one could really see me. I knew now what it was to be desperate. I knew what it was to skulk in darkness, looking for some little bit of hope finding nothing. I knew what it was to be so lonely you could kill from it.
Ā Ā Ā Ā I wished had an opera house. I wished I had a cathedral. I wished I could climb to the top of the Empire State Building like King Kong. Instead, I had only the anonymous streets of New York with their millions of stupid, clueless people . . . I scared me.āĀ
