I guess I kind of abandoned this booklr account of mine. I think the last time I was on this was summer last year?  But I am trying to get back to it now. 

Let’s just talk about this book for a second. I am definitely a fan of this book, I did think that the pace was a bit predictable, however I was very much hooked on to it. I usually have long commutes to work and school, and I could not put this book down at all. 

If anyone would like to recommend other books in a similar genre, or any books like this, Please do let me know :)

Which do you prefer? Books or ebooks ?

For me , I prefer actual hard cover books - I see why ebooks are so popular nowadays because its a space saver, its easier to mark your pages, highlight texts and all these other features. But for me, I would prefer hard cover books because its different than holding a device. The way you can throw your book across the room when you’re angry at the characters, sob on the pages if it made you cry, hug it when you’re really happy when something’s going on. Its like your main connection to the story. Its different when you’re able to feel the pages between your fingers compared to swiping. What do you guys think?

THE NIGHT CIRCUS

The Night Circus has to be one of my favourite books HANDS DOWN ! For me, books are a way of escaping reality. It sucks you into its made up world, making you the main character of the story for the duration that you’re reading it. Or maybe you become the best friend, the child, the next door neighbour etc. Books makes you forget who you are for that time being and lets you take any role it has to offer.

Back to why I loved reading the Night Circus. This book has all the fiction elements to it, the magic, the sorcery,the wizards etc. It has an abundance of imagery, you feel as if you’re seeing what the book is describing right in front of you, or that you’re smelling the buttery popcorn that’s being described. It takes you to a journey, and you feel as if you’re walking on it yourself as opposed to reading about it. From the moment they describe your entrance to the night circus. You’ll feel like you, yourself bought the ticket to this one-night event.
