when liberal democracy "civilizes" it is building town halls and district courts with rebar made from ore that the colonized and imperialized bled and died for. when it "educates" it uses textbooks printed with the wealth of the exploited that write of their barbarism and non-existence. when it raises hospitals and clinics for its own citizens it uses technologies that it coercively and fatally "tests" on the people it now puts up every wall to keep out. when those same people choose to throw themselves against the barricades rather than be made into foundation for "civilization" the liberal democracy knows it will be shown for the flimsy farce it is. "terror" here is just when the truth is brought home to where it was supposed to be rewritten and forgotten.
