finally deviled my minion..... 👩❤️💋👩
armand is literally princess to diana to autistic people who were sexually abused as children
Claudia was my dark child, my love, evil of my evil. Claudia broke my heart.
my coven is claudia
I know some folks are upset the show painted Armand as a one-note villain in the finale but...like...actually the show didn't. Daniel painted Armand's actions as being a one-note villain. Daniel is the one who declared that Armand wanted Louis to die in the trial.
Daniel...the "bright young reporter with a point of view."
Daniel...who's "good at getting angles."
Daniel...who 2 sessions earlier discovered that in the 1970s Armand had held him captive and tortured him for a week and nearly drained him. And then fucked with his memory to make him forget all of it.
There are certain aspects of that reveal that the show is telling you are objectively true. Armand directed the trial. Lestat forced the audience to shout "Banishment" and saved Louis. But pretty much everything else that Daniel says is just his assumption...him drawing conclusions. And his conclusions are based on truths...but also influenced by his own perspective, which is "fuck Armand."
I dunno...it just seems clear this show is having characters unfold and reveal themselves slowly...and that these big reveals aren't really retconning everything we've seen before, they're more about re-contextualizing everything.
Going through my old journals has me feeling like Claudia, carrying all my premonitions of wannabe and completed evil deeds toward the messy men in my life.
She really should have hid that shit better. How are you going to write down your father’s last words IN HIS OWN BLOOD, then leave it sitting out unprotected. I would have held her hand and helped her bury it.
