The amount of people that shame teen girls for getting abortions pisses me off. You don't know her situation. She could've felt that she wasnt ready to be a mother — "BUT SHE SHOULDVE CLOSED HER LEGS THEN!!" and how do you know she consented to the act? What if she was raped? What if she's in an abusive relationship and (rightfully) believes it's not safe?

You never know what is going on in a womans' life, so stop acting like it.

Also, "I'm not ready to be a mother because of x" or "I just don't want to be a mother" is a perfectly valid reason.

"B-BUT THEN SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE SEX!!" So she shouldn't have a life?? If a man or a woman doesn't want to be a parent then that doesn't mean they should never have sex ever. Sex isn't only for reproducing.

Then stop teaching them that they have to be grown in order to deserve basic human respect. Stop treating them like they're grown when it's convenient for you. Stop telling them to "act your age" when they appear childish. Stop using "mature" as a compliment and "immature" as an insult.
