Yes, Wolf's special ability is his claws from Smash Bros. I used Smash moves for Fox and Falco's special abilities so of course Wolf was going to be no different.

As for his age, this was before I learned about that tweet saying he was in James and Peppy's age bracket. Beyond that, I knew I wanted Wolf's age to be closer to Fox's. This is largely due to A Fox in Space where Wolf was around 18 when the Venom Mission happened.

I like jealousy being part of Fox and Wolf's rivalry. Like Wolf is the one who actually learned from James, but Fox is the one who gets the red carpet treatment because he's James' son. It was a whole thing when they were in the academy. Particularly after Wolf lost his eye in the training accident and was all but abandoned by Corneria.

I forgot to note on Katt's page that she and Falco were childhood friends. Whoops. Also, I admit I still haven't figured out when exactly Falco left the gang/Katt took over. Hence why it's not mentioned in the timeline notes.

Katt's special ability being Sonic Boom actually comes from a show I watched as a child. Jay-Jay the Jet Plane had a character named Savanna who was a supersonic jet, and I remember there being this one episode about how she's able to create a sonic boom. I believe the pink jet - Tracy? Was that her name? - wanted to do the same, I think? I don't remember exactly.

However, I thought Katt having a special ability that let her create/generate a sonic boom without having to break the sound barrier could be fun. Seems like something that would be in a game like Starlink where everyone had a special ability.

Not that I think we'll get to see Katt use this ability, given how Lylat doesn't believe in the special abilities and Katt's own ability is low expression.

Her scent being tobacco and carnations comes from her pink coloration and everyone reacting to her 2026 design saying she looks like she smokes multiple packs a day.
