allegiance: kingdom of yela alora by appearance. chiaki will ally herself with any kingdom that proves itself stronger. 

appearance: chiaki takes the form of a psuedo-fiend like in the vortex world. her hair turned white and so her skin, piercing yellow eyes that show no mercy and a fearsome arm that replaced the once she lost to sakahagi. [x]

occupation: chaos bringer? who knows. she is constantly seeking other unholy players to amass another army that can bring down yela alora and allow the demons to take over the queen’s kingdom.

What kind of face would he have made in this situation? It was honestly difficult to remember. Perhaps due to her current lack of Magatsuhi coursing through her, he had not felt her presence when she arrived on the island. As such, suddenly being confronted by a figure he knew all too well should have given him some pause. Surprised or shocked him in some way. After all, it was by his hand that her life had come to an end.

And yet, there was nothing. Her blood was burning. Her eyes filled with vigor and loathing. Her resentment towards what she perceived as her own weakness was clearly evident. Even if that wasn’t the friend he’d created so many wonderful memories with, there was still life in her eyes. But what was there reflected in his gaze? Nothing. It was empty. As if he were little more than a hollow husk, harboring no emotion whatsoever.

His friends no longer existed. But they weren’t the only ones who had lost parts of themselves in their pursuit of power. The naive boy she knew was also gone. All for the sake of punishing the one responsible for taking everything from him.

“.. No.”

It seemed they were only pawns of a different game. Now she could only wonder for what purpose was she brought back again, after having such a miserable death. If anything, she could consider it embarrassing. Getting closer than anyone to her goal just to lose to him. Neither won, so why? They survived to be toyed around and it was repeating itself.

Over and over...

“I guess I’m the only who would’ve stayed as a fiend willingly. I really hate that you could keep your powers.” Power is what you needed after the Conception. Was he not happy to be strong? She envied him, having the capacity of fearing his strength -- she had nothing again. A mere human was weak against the world. A latent power resided within her and how she wished to get herself out to let it pour again. He remained a demon and even his own demeanour matched his new essence. 

 “I look the same, even my body is complete...” Cupping his cheek, she forces him to look at her directly. Perhaps dying once sufficed to make her grow bolder as ever.

“Can’t you feel it? Your friend is back.”

She really wished that was the case. They will never be the same. At least, their hearts won’t recover for a long time.

She wasn’t so aggressive back then. Cornering him against a wall, she kept her arm above his shoulder to keep him still. There was a time when she controlled herself, maintained composure according to society. However, that society no longer existed to her. It did not matter that people walked by, observed them and whispered about the scene before them -- nothing mattered any longer to Chiaki.

She was weak. He had surpassed her and that alone complied with Yosuga. Sadly, she wasn’t very good at giving up. All that managed to stop her was her very own death. Her beating heart proved itself very stubborn again.

“Who’s Reason is this? Yours? I thought you couldn’t.” Wether she was wrong or not, she was willing to take the bet. “It’s pretty cruel to flaunt it around the losers anyway.”

“I wonder if you’d die if I pushed you up from here.” Ruining the beautiful scenery, she crashes the moment like the waves do against the rocks. He seemed absorbed in the view from up this cliff. It was certainly pretty, she had not appreciated the sea in a long time -- the Conception left a dry land, this was a perfect time to feel normal. Her dry words, however, were a constant wether the world was gone or not.

CHIAKI HAYASAKA • SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI III: NOCTURNE

Hot girls we have problems too. We're just like you, except we're hot.

One day you are visiting your teacher at the hospital then humanity is whipped out and you’re part of the few survivors. Great. 

Also you have to kill all of your friends if they don’t agree with you.

Ending in a demon-infested world, Chiaki struggled to survive but managed to reach the top with both her wit and strength. 

She lost her arm to a Manikin (human emotions taking form) called Sakahagi, reaffirming her fear and doubts toward this world.

Despite being a regular human, she wound up as the leader of the Mantra Army and inheriting Gozu-Tennoh’s powers. Her grievance allowed them to unite, letting her pursue her Reason in this world. After this, she became a pseudo-fiend.  

Her army consists of both demons and angels, mainly archangels. This reveals than even the messengers of God favour her.

She slaughtered the Manikins entirely with her army to use their Magatsuhi, which she managed to accomplish. 

Chaos route anyone? Called the reason of Yosuga, she wishes to create a world where strength rules all. A dog eat dog world. The weak should not live and only the strong are allowed to thrive. 

Her Reason was born out of fear, as she was afraid of ever succumbing to weakness. If she becomes the strongest, she will be able to live. 

Her sponsor is the Baal Avatar, which she is able to summon no matter the route chosen. She is the closest of all the others to reach her goal, showing how scary and strong she can be.
