I wish I could gift this house a new beginning, rebuild it and make it beautiful. Kind of like the way I wish nothing bad had ever happened to you. I wish you hadn't felt pain or abandonment or fear. It was pushed down on you. I can't take it away. But maybe I can dig up some weeds, plants some flowers and build some new walls with you. Or for you if you're not feeling like it. Finally back and over the jet lag. 😅 That one hit me hard. How gorgeous is this picture. When I was taking it someone said ' why's she doing that ?' they were saying that there's nothing beautiful to take. 'thats just the post office' I don't agree with that 'just' she spoke.of. Because actually our country is really beautiful. The average town doesn't have grand neo gothic or Romanesque architecture,it's not beautiful in an overwhelming way. I think perhaps because of this we forget how gorgeous it is. Every time I go abroad and come back, i have a sigh of relief when I walk past those ridiculous oh- so-true sayings they have on clothes lines in T1. How strange I was itching to go and now flooded with relief on arrival. Ireland is simple, understated charm. We aren't trying to impress anybody and yet we do again and again. And yet, You pronounce proudly to your neighbor that you're transformed. disrespectfully misusing the word 'transformation'. Are you reinventing yourself ? You're so afraid of what that word actually means and what it actually takes. Phoenix are born from ashes but no thanks ,you'd rather pretend. Stop pretending. Stop playing small. The doctors told your mom that you weren't actually there or strong enough so she might as well get rid of you but she held out - and so did you!
