I had a fun hit with Rachael Brady & The Moonshine Special last week!

Played a nice show at Pyrmont Bridge Hotel yesterday. With my band @whiskey_empire. I took along my Pearl Prestige Session Select. I’ve had it for nearly 20 years! It’s the first nice kit that I bought for myself. The sound of it has gotten better with age. I love it!

I recently got a dash cam, so I thought I’d combine two of my favourite things, driving my car and playing my drums! Here’s a little drive over the Harbour Bridge in my Veloster, with a short improvisation on my Gretsch Renown 57.

Not long ago, I innocently went to my local drum shop to drop off a drum that I was having modified. I left with this kit. Oooops! Gretsch Renown 57 in Motor City Blue. Ooooo aaaaah!
