Hi! It was Mlder - I noticed the person stopped updating the blog and I wondered if you was still in contact with them or if you knew anything. Also I would just like to say I love that you still have the blog! The Star Wars fandom was so big on here in like 2015/2016, it was a great time for me and I even remember everyone’s excitement about SWCE! I believe I remember you guys going to carries panel!

I thought you might say Mlder, sadly I’ve lost contact too. I followed him to Instagram but he posts super rarely and I’ve not had a reply to the one or two private messages I’ve sent his way. But from his photos, he seems to be living his best life!

Yeah honestly I’m so nostalgic for that post-TFA hype the fandom had! I’m hoping that reignites a little bit for me when the new shows drop soon. SW celebration really was great wasn’t it! I was looking through old photos recently and it made me so happy!

I hadn’t thought about it in a while, but I am actually still very upset that we never got to see John Boyega give an impassioned speech to an army of hostile stormtroopers, and partway through the speech just one trooper lays her blaster down and takes her helmet off, and by the end Finn has won them over and they all take their helmets off as the music swells, which signifies their change of allegiance and also reminds us the audience that underneath all those indistinguishable white helmets are people with faces and personalities and hopes and dreams and connections to the Force, people who will be led by one of their own as they rise up in rebellion against the fascist empire that treated them like interchangeable cannon fodder.
