Bird’s the word
Yawns, stretches, immediately regrets it and winces. Now that’s what she’d call a massive hangover.
YOUR BOYFRIEND CALLED.
“ Did he say you were a bitch? “
hacker voice: I’m in
clears throat. “ hi? “
// Since putting the muse’s sexual orientation in your icon seems to be a thing, I did it too.
“Shhhhh…. it works in my mind.” He says before putting an index finger to her lips. “You know you need me near you to live. Life simply isn’t the same without me.”
“ Eh. “ She’d cross her arms over her chest. “ I was faring pretty well before knowing you. “
“And now you are faring even better, plus the sex isn’t half bad.”
She’d let out a short laugh. “ It’s not half bad because I’m in it. “

“You’ve sent me there for weeks on end. Then you eventually get lonely and crawl under the blankets and join me in the middle of the night. You definitely need me, as much as you hate to admit it.”
Middle of the night? He was being nice there. Unless something really happened between them, ‘an hour after’ would be more accurate.
“ I don’t hate to admit it. It’s only that you get incredibly cocky when I do. “
“Me? Cocky…? Noooo…. We obviously must be talking about someone else. I’m a humble entertainer. Simply the best entertainer.”
She’d roll her eyes. And here was again.
“ Putting humble and the best one after the other isn’t helping your case, Babe. “

"You are stunning and beautiful...."
Plump lips curve in a pleased smile.
“ Such an handsome flatterer. Thanks Babe. “
“Oh yeah… I was definitely talking about you darling.”
A frown, a pout and finally a groan. Someone is sleeping on the couch tonight.
“You know, I’ve gotten used to that sentence. I kinda have added personal touches to that couch. It’s just assumed to be my bed at this point.”
Squints at.
“ Maybe sending you to the couch is too kind then. “

"If you spank hard enough."
how hard is ‘enough’ tho?
Hands you windows to break.
long stares at the camera like in the office.
frustrated growl.
“ I think I’m going to break something. “

This isn’t how she wanted to go out. Quinn liked cats, personally. And generally, even shadowcats left her alone. Her weapon lie several feet away, impacted in the snow from the struggle, and she could only climb so high in the snow-packed tree before it began to bend and the faint sound of splintering reached her ears. The beast frothed at the mouth, and altered between slamming its body against the tree and whirling in circles. The Mad Sickness spread, and it made Quinn paranoid. Claws ripped her arm open, but if she had been bitten - she preferred not to think about it. It would be easy, putting the creature out of its misery. But the risk of being bitten while trying to retrieve her weapon was far, far too great. She could only sit up in the tree for so long, and she felt that if she had to watch the creature drown in its madness for any longer than a day, she might join it. It howled and gurgled and bit the trunk of the tree. As high as she was, the cold began to set in quicker. Here, she was alone, and bitter.
She’d be lying if she said she hadn’t thought about using a bit of her magic to warm up her feet. But she knew full well that it’d make her footprints even more noticeable than it already was and, even if she wasn’t tracked, she preferred not letting such obvious traces behind her. So she was trying to ignore the cold biting at her flesh, ‘trying’ being the keyword with how hard it was starting to be.
‘Hard to ignore’ could be used to describe the sudden ruckus she heard, coming not so far from her position. She had no idea after what the beast was, but with the way its howling sounded, there was no mistaking on its state of mind.
She made an halt. She could very well continue on her way and let the beast do whatever it wanted. Or she could use its focus being elsewhere to take it down easily. Purple feathers spawned in her hand once her decision was taken. Moving stealthily through the wood, she aimed for the source of the noise.
It didn’t take long for her to find the beast, and its prey by extent. Though she couldn’t see the said prey directly, it was easy to guess it had found refuge at the top of the tree being assaulted. Guessing the reason of such a brutal behavior from the animal was easy as well, a single look giving away the madness that had taken over its mind.
Unseen and unnoticed, she was quick to aim and to put the beast at rest, quills piercing its skull, heart and side with deadly precision. She’d wait a few seconds, making sure it was dead for good before approaching of the tree, a feather in her hand.
“ Ya’ ok up there? “
