1.) What is MicroDermabrasion?

Answer: This is a skin-revitalizing treatment that helps repair skin that is damaged from the sun, scars, acne and the unwanted effects of aging. Our trained aesthetician therapists at Rebel Rouge uses gentle abrasion and vacuum to remove the dead, outer layer of skin.

MicroExfoliation or MicroDermabrasion using the original Crystal Free DiamondTome™ wands removes the dead, outer layer of skin by gently exfoliating the skin with natural diamond chips, while vacuuming the dead skin cells away in a clean and controlled manner.

Removing the outer layer of dead skin leaves a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells.

2.) What is the advantage of the DiamondTome Systems?

Answer: There are different methods of exfoliation systems ranging from particle microdermabrasion to chemical peels.   How does the i-lipo work?

The red light laser is fired at the treatment area, and is absorbed by the individual fat cells;

This temporarily opens pores in the cell wall;

The stored triglycerides (big fat molecules) are broken down into glycerol and fatty acids (small fat molecules) and move out of the cell into the interstitial tissue;

The contents of the cell are picked up by the lymphatic system ready for use as an energy source by the body;

Exercising metabolises the contents of the fat cells so that they are permanently removed from the body.

What does the 'I'-Lipo Treatment Involve?

The client completes a Pre-treatment health Questionnaire before the treatment area is measured. The lymph probes and laser paddles are secured into place. 20 minutes later, they are removed and the client is re-measured. In Rebel Rouge, the 'I'-Lipo treatment concludes with a ten-minute Flabelos session.

How many treatments are recommended?

How many areas can be treated at the same time?

It is best to treat one area at a time. If two areas are treated at the same time, the results are less effective. It is best to have a course of 8 treatments on one area, then to have another course on a new area.

How can I get the best results from I-Lipo treatments?

Drink as much water as you can, the more hydrated your body is, the more effective the treatment will be.

Do cardiovascular exercise on the day of the treatment to ensure that all the released fat is fully metabolised.

Do not put any lotions, creams or oils on the treatment area on the day of your treatment.

Avoid eating heavy meals for two hours before and after treatment.

Avoid tea, coffee, fizzy drinks, and alcohol two hours before and after each treatment.

To gain long lasting benefit from an 'I'-lipo course, eat healthy foods. Avoid eating processed junk food as these often contain high levels of additives and chemicals to make the food unnaturally long-lasting. They often contain excess levels of fat/ sugar/ salt to make them taste better.

How long-lasting are the results of 'I'-Lipo?

'I'-Lipo works by 'emptying' the contents of the fat cells in the treatment area.

If a client were to resume a lifestyle of junk food and no exercise, it is very likely the fat cells will be re-filled with 'new' fat.

On the other hand, if the client were to eat healthily, and engage in physical activity, they should manage to maintain the results that they have already achieved.

Ylang ylang oil and its benefits.

Ylang ylang

Ylang ylang oil has an exotic, sweet smell and is slightly yellow in colour. The name means “flower of flowers”.

For a great overnight hair conditioning treatment add a few drops of Ylang ylang to a base of pure coconut oil alternatively a few drops to an evening bath promotes relaxation and aid sleeps.

The Shrinking Violet

Have you all heard the hype about the shrinking violet? We did so we thought we would investigate. Being from a science back ground I wanted to know all the details, would a wrap really break down fat in 90 minutes.

After 6 months of research and following results achieved by other salons down south, I thought I would go ahead and book training. Still not convinced it would work, I actually went thinking  well at least I can come back and tell clients if it works or not. I left converted.Not only was I so impressed that I bought the system then and there, my model a fellow therapist and head therapist for I lipo was also impressed.
