Part 1???

The premise for this idea is that Simon ends up in Grace's biodome, but specifically as the mutated tree (because magic) and he needs to consume human blood in order to transform back into a human. Cue the associated angst of needing human blood for survival.

I might actually write a fic surrounding this - or continue drawing the comic, I'm not quite sure yet. But this seemed like a fun premise to play with.

More mana/magic stuff

Magic users given their magic by a god or entity (clerics, paladins, warlocks, some druids (the ones connected to Ancients, basically the nature gods of my world), magic-using monks, etc) often channel their mana through objects connected to their god or entity. This means the effect on their body is less, but they also can't summon the mana without this item or help from their god. The mana, in my AU, follows a similar but opposite path to blood, and losing too much can cause similar effects to blood loss, though to a lesser extent. Being in a mana-rich environment thus strengthens anyone born in this world, the amount depending on how in-touch/in-control they are of their mana, and being in a mana-poor environment weakens anyone born in this world and creates much physically stronger mana-poor creatures.

Just after arriving to Erid Simon think Grace is really scared of him. And who wouldn’t be scared of him? The man who killed 62 others, the butcher the now mutant with half a face and a lost limb.

But Simon you are really wrong Grace is freaking out. He spent years interacting only with rocks and now you want him to talk with someone who has a face, oh god not good.

How do I make eye contact. Rocky I have lost all of it. I am the social anxiety in person, holly crap I couldn’t read his face, you don’t have a face.
