My experience meeting Bryce Pinkham (which was very different from meeting Brandon.)

Alright, to start, I was in Blitzø cosplay. I walk up and he smiles and goes "Ohhh, Blitzy!!" in Stolas' voice. HEHE anyway, he's getting ready to sign and I tell him that I needed help naming a little plush cat I had just bought at a stand. I hand it to him so he can see it, and I tell him it has a squeaker inside. He squeaks it and goes "Oh! Let me think about this." So he signs and returns the plushie saying "Squeaky PussPuss," which caught me so off guard I laughed. I repeated it to taste the name on my tongue before I told him I liked it. He gets interrupted so I'm awkwardly standing there for a hot minute until he can get back to signing. He says "for my darling Matt!" and then he hands the print to me and I go "oh you actually put 'for my darling!'" Because i figured he was saying it just to say it. As I'm leaving, he gives me Stolas' voice again saying something along the lines of "it was very nice to meet you, darling," or something I forgot. But I walked away giggling which made him smile. I'm a grown ass man walking away giggling like a school girl. The power this man has. It was a very pleasant experience!!!

That time I thanked Brandon Rogers for allowing Blitzø to be a good rep of BPD (even if unintentional.)

I was fortunate enough to meet Brandon Rogers a while back, and here's how that went. First off, I was in Blitzø cosplay with a pan flag pinned to the suit, and as I walk up, he says "who's this little gay boy?" Made me laugh. He told me I was dressed from the best fandom at the con, then he leaned over and half whispered that I was also the best character, which I agreed to. As he signed the print, I told him: "I just wanted to say that, I have BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and I wanted to thank you for, even if it's unintentional, allowing Blitzø to be a representation of all the worst parts." I proceeded to tell him it allowed me to feel heard and seen without it being stigmatized, and he gave me a sad little frown as he listened. He then told me he was glad that his character could be that for me, and he is very happy to work for a company that can represent things that aren't normally represented, and not just LGBTQIA+, but everything else that lacks representation. He told me he hopes in the future that more indie-like companies can become bigger to allow that sort of thing on the screen. As I was leaving he thanked me for telling him that. It really touched me to see when I walked up he was his usual joking self, but as I was leaving he was very heartfelt and personal. I really wanted to share this. I also met Bryce Pinkham, and it was a completely different experience I may post about at some other point X3
