BONNIE;
Bonnie’s eyes scanned her from her choice in clothing to her bright blue eyes in an attempt to figure the blonde out. She didn’t seem like a threat, but the witch was all too aware of what dangers existed in the world so she knew not to judge by appearance. The apprehensions she felt couldn’t stop the smile that appeared on her lips as she saw the blonde give a small bow, she found it cute in a way. Focusing back on the woman’s extended hand knowing she could use the contact to get a better read on her, so she happily took it.
As their skin met the witch went into her trance for a moment seeing flashes from the past. It was always difficult to make out everything at once and when the visions finally stopped it took a moment to regain her composure. “I- Um..Nice to meet you too.” Bonnie dropped her hand back to her side as she processed what she was being told. “The ghostbusters?” If she hadn’t just used her power on the blonde, Bonnie would close the door in her face and gone on about her day not wanting to deal with some humans chancing fake ghosts; no matter how attractive she was. She figured she should at least hear her out and find out what the anonymous called had said and just how deep these humans were getting involved in the supernatural world. “Why don’t you come in, rather than discuss this with my nosy neighbors.” she moved aside to allow her in her home.
When Bonnie took her hand she grasped it tightly and held on for a little longer than what would be considered normal. Her eyes looked a little glazed and Holtz was about to ask if she was okay when she snapped back to it and pulled her hand away, letting it fall back to her side. Holtz thought it best not to say a word about it. Instead she nodded at Bonnie’s question and smiled at the invitation to come inside. It was better than nothing, even if Bonnie seemed unsure about her. She gave a small nod and stepped into the house. There was probably some sort of cautionary fairy tale about going into a witch’s house but she’d always been more interested in science than fantasy.
Once inside she glanced around the house before returning her attention to Bonnie. ❛ Y’know, I’ve gotta say... and I hope I don’t offend, you are not at ALL what I expected when someone said you were a... ❜ She trailed off before dropping her voice down to a whisper, ❛ witch? ❜ Her eyes were on Bonnie’s now, holding her gaze with almost childlike curiosity. Ghosts were becoming less and less of an enigma, but an actual person with powers that existed in a ‘magical’ sense instead of scientific? That was hard for her to wrap her head around. If it was even true. ❛ My colleagues and I travel from place to place when we get a call about supernatural occurrences that need clearing up. We got a call about Mystic Falls. No specific place, just... all of it. ❜
