To all of @iamthegaysmurf 's friends & fans, I'm really sorry to say that my wife passed away yesterday after fighting really hard for a week.

I was blessed to have her in my life, proud to have been her wife for more than 10 years & I will always miss her.

I love you, my heart.

News of the @iamthegaysmurf’s passing has rocked all of us. She was a true light within this fandom, well loved and respected. As the “Patron Saint of Wayhaught”, she provided hours and hours of help to so many fic writers. Her guidance helped so many as they honed their craft. She was a beacon of kindness in the fandom, always ready with any help she could offer. She was a friend, a support system, and it was an honor to call her my best friend. The world is darker today and will stay that way for quite some time  

Her passing was unexpected and heartbreaking. To help support her family in this devastating time, we’re looking to raise some money to help cover expenses that accrued during her time in the hospital. All proceeds will go directly to her wife, Mrs.Smurf. 

I know that Smurf is going to there, blessing the rains down in Africa. She will remain within our hearts and within our fics. Her presence will forever be missed.
