@recovery-rambles
stop insulting yourself. it doesnât help.
But what if itâs true
it still doesnât help. you can call yourself as many names as you want, but it wonât make you a better, happier, healthier or kinder person.
punishment doesnât work. only positive reinforcement does. be kind to yourself and get better.
ouch, shit, you right you right
what iâve learned in 2018:
not to let my emotions control me
to understand that my thoughts arenât necessarily reality
be who i am unapologeticallyÂ
and learn to compliment myself
relationships arenât supposed to be a lot of work
self-deprecating jokes/thoughts only make things worse
itâs okay to suck at things
and not to let that stop me from doing them
self care actually is really important

i donât like food products labeled as âguilt freeâ because eating shouldnât be something to feel guilty over
like no matter how unhealthy food is it still shouldnât be something to feel guilty over! eating isnât a wrongdoing, carbs arenât a crime!
hey if youâve got a soft tummy that sticks out, welcome to the club bitch, you cool as hell and perfectly fine. enjoy yourself.

I know I will always be miserable if I return to my eating disorder.
Right now, recovery is miserable.
But, there a possibility that in the future recovery will bring me something better than my current misery.
The choice is between a certain misery and a potentially temporary misery, and the choice seems like an easy one to me.
In all honesty, sometimes I donât believe in recovery. But I know at least that if I do pick recovery than there is a possibility that things will improve.
Iâm fighting for the possibility that things will improve.
I may not have the best body but it sure does hold all my organs in place
this is the type of positivity i need.
this is the first piece of âfitspirationâ that has ever in my life actually kinda inspired me.
This is important.
I like this version better, itâs more realistic
