Well Tumblr...it's been fun.

I've thought about this for a while, especially considering my 5 year anniversary on this website is coming up. I've debated whether or not to delete my Tumblr. I barely use it anymore and it's taking up space on their servers. But then I think back to all the fun I had on here. The amazing people I've met and the regret that I don't speak to them anymore. Perhaps there's a reason for this, but I'm not here to get philosophical. So instead of erasing my account forever, I'll simply no longer post here. I'll instead have this be an archive of all the progress I made in the past 5 years. Hopefully Tumblr won't delete it for me, but I won't blame them if they do. Recent studies on depression report that folks diagnosed with depression actually laugh more, laugh louder, and laugh harder than people without depression. People with depression will also spend more time trying to make others laugh, telling jokes, and trying to lighten a mood than people who do not have depression. People with depression tended to be more caring partners, better friends and kinder people than those who were depression free. People with depression actually act the complete opposite of the way you’d think; this is largely why, when people do commit suicide, his or her (or whichever pronoun you like) family and friends “didn’t see it coming” and describe the lost soul as “always happy and smiling”.

So, along with the other symptoms to look out for, take notice of those things. If someone close to you shows all those symptoms, plus the lethargy, apathy, etc, reach out to them.

Already 80% finished with Elektra! The wig still needs some work, but everything is coming along nicely. I made her face covering out of an old red T-shirt that only took me 10 minutes, a pair of fabric scissors, and a tutorial online.
