Genuinely one of the best episodes of game changer ever. I watched COUNT THE RICE when it leaked early and loved it. Catherine was phenomenal on her very first game changer and overall the episode was so fun. I wanted to watch it again so bad, but when it refreshed, it was gone.

So glad to have dropout now because the release of game changer is so exciting.

New Cast? My thoughts:

First off, these are just my OPINIONS and Personal thoughts. Smosh is a company of real people and I do not intend to harm them or bitch about the way they run things. That said, I’ve been a Smosh fan since before they added the Smosh Squad, so I’ve seen a lot of people come and go. You don’t have to read and you don’t have to agree! Here we go:

I miss the cast we already have! I understand and support expansion, but I really hope no one leave leaves in a swift way where it just gets swept under the rug. Expanding will make scheduling content easier and I want the cast to enjoy work ofc, but I want to see my favorite dynamics more, not less.

I think they won’t add all 5, but I don’t think there’s a set number of who to cute and who to add. When Chanse and Angela joined, they did more videos that allowed them to kind of talk about who they are and let the audience get to know them a bit more, and I want that from these people too. Side note-I just don’t like uno teams so I feel like that was a bust since the game format really doesn’t lend itself to “new” duos and learning more about someone. I didn’t like the video, but once again, maybe that’s the game.

Of the new cast, I am not vibing with Jared. I didn’t like him on Reddit stories or Reddit live. Maybe I just don’t find him funny. Not my comedy style and I don’t see him having good dynamics with the cast so far. If I didn’t like him as a guest, I don’t think I will as a cast member.

I know Guchi from watching KLS, and I really dig her vibe so we will see how she plays with everyone, but I’m hopeful.

Not really getting much of a read/ no opinion on Emily or NY Courtney. I’m excited to see them do more. Weirdly, I really want to see people do a tntl, because I think it really tests how they can work quickly and collaborate with the other cast and helps us get to know their style of comedy.

Lastly, I love Eli! I think the other games video he was in really sold me on his ability to balance doing the video activity and being a comedy rooted in friendship performer. From what I’ve seen, he just fit really well off the bat, and has the confidence like he’s been working there for years.
