◜ 𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐅𝐌 is a semi-appless horror roleplay set in the small lakeside town of red creek, michigan. nothing ever happens here.  for decades the slogan rang true, but  october of 1999  changes  everything. what starts off as  strange occurrences  will soon morph into  terror, residents and law enforcement alike forced to reckon with the  unimaginable  once a  killer  starts to take lives. the struggle to survive is equally as  horrific; and they'll soon learn finger-pointing can be  just as lethal  in such a small town. not even red creek can stay  unscathed  forever.  the boogeyman  is watching—and you might just be next.

  //   (  alisha boe  .  cis woman  .  she/her  )  .    ⸻  victoria 'vic' harun,  a  twenty-eight  year  old,  has  survived  another  day  in  red  creek  where  they  have  lived  for  four years.  the  former teen star is  known  for  being  a voice like heaven and sugar-coated words and  obsession with attention while distrusting recognition  and  is  often  associated  with  whiplash emotions like driving in the snow, craving flashing paparazzi lights, two shots before going onstage and autographs in red lipstick.  in  a  small  town  where  they  work  as  lead vocalist + cashier at creekside video,  word  travels  fast.  it’s  hard  to  keep  a  secret,  and  it  looks  like  the  boogeyman  knows  that  redacted.  (  rosea  ,  24  ,  mt  ,  they/she  ).

TRAGEDY IS SOMETHING RED CREEK DONS LIKE AN ILL-FITTING COAT. unfamiliar, too large to shoulder—it settles into the cold night air, filling every gap and silence, ever present like a soul who refuses to cross over and be forgotten. the school courtyard has never been so full, familiar figures huddled together in winter coats, faces illuminated like flickering ghosts in the shadows of the flames that keep burning despite the breeze some might blame for the raised hair on the back of their necks. for others, the wrongness of it all is not so easily explained away. under the watchful gaze of heather visser's smiling yearbook photo, the last she'll ever take, there the town stands, meant to honor the young girl whom many knew if just from meals at dolly's, with no answers as to why or how she was gone. there are speeches: a tearful goodbye from her grieving mother, anecdotes from fresh-faced peers that are perhaps even more gut-wrenching in their reminder that she was just a child, she should still be here, a testimony from dolly keene herself on what heather's hopes for the future had been. but as the vigil drags on and the temperature keeps dropping, the whispers get harder to ignore. it wasn't an accident. the wind whips the accusation forward, restlessness creeping in the way a chill does into the marrow of bones. i heard she was—they say her throat was— charlie dennings shushes the crowd, but the town no longer heeds the command of the sheriff as readily as they used to.

one by one, residents step forward towards the framed picture. stuffed bears and roses. rosaries and tall candles with cracked pictures of saints plastered on. a friendship bracelet. two glittering pom poms. heather's nametag from dolly's. offerings are scattered all around, the aftermath a haunting shrine resurrected by a grieving town. and there, somewhere tucked among the memorabilia, lies a note. in uniform scrawl, a message is etched: mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the deadest of them all?
