SO STORIES ABOUT THIS SHOOT.

THERE WERE MANY CANDLES. SO. MANY. CANDLES. But somehow Pie and I only managed to set the prop flowers on fire twice so THAT MAY BE CONSIDERED A VICTORY.

also, the weird lighting challenges of the dark-candly-feel we wanted aside, the studio space was tricky and depending on the angle of the camera, you’d get that giant Maka and Soul from Soul Eater poster on the back wall there in view.

So very much of this shoot consisted of a) trying not to set things on fire, or spill wax everywhere, and b) Pie rolling around on the floor whining about the lighting and swearing at Maka and Soul. It was fun times XD
