it’s been literally months and i still get a pain in my chest when i think about richie carving r + e into the bridge. like he loved eddie so much and he felt he had no where to put that love, no one to tell about that love, but he was literally bursting with it to the point he had to turn that love into something physical or he’d explode. he sat at that bridge carving out a love so deep he didnt care if someone came by and saw him doing it. he was like 12 fucking years old and he risked people finding out about his secret because he loved eddie so fucking much!!! FUCK
