“That wasn’t a no,” he teased, putting his arm back down when she didn’t take it. “So you’re saying if we were the last two people on Earth then not even then?” His question had a tone of hurt to it that was unintentional. Walking beside her, he ran a hand through his raven locks, wondering why she had parked so far away. Sure she could defend herself but why bother when someone could attempt to mug her. It seemed like an awful lot of trouble. “Not every one that owes me money likes to pay up. Sometimes they like to send airheads after me. That was an airhead.”
Barbara rolled her eyes, “I mean if we were the last to people on earth, and it depended on us to repopulate the planet I’d think about it.” The redhead could admit she was attacked to Jack, not many women wouldn’t be. He was fit, and he knew it. Barbara walked in tandem with the dark-haired male, shivering slightly at the arm around her shoulder. She didn’t comment on the other shady business practices, there was no point, they both knew where the other stood on the issue. “I’ll tell you what though if your good I’ll let you buy me a drink,” she smiled.
