dealing with the witch , agatha harkness , was not something new in itself . wanda knew all too well the other woman’s power , as well as her desire for more of it . no , dealing with her was not new . what was new , however , was the increase in flirty comments as of late . the scarlet witch typically smiled and shrugged them off , but there were just so many now ! the two witches were facing off , with wanda hovering in the air across from the other sorceress . her eyes were narrowed , head cocked to one side as she stared agatha down . “ i’m not going to let you have my magic , agatha , “ she said slowly , shaking her head . “ my magic is used for good . not for personal gain , contrary to popular belief . “ she conjured a singular hex ball , letting it hover between her hands in warning . wanda would not attack first . no , she would wait for agatha to make the first strike , and then she would retaliate . wanda was not the type to act on offense unless she was pissed off , and agatha hadn’t done that – not yet , at least .

She stood, rooted her her spot on the earth, looking up a a little at Wanda. it had taken a while to find the younger witch, but the feeling of the Darkhold and her connection to it, would always beckon her. Good thing the little witch had it, made her easy to find, even if she thought it was in a whole different plane.

Her blue and purple whipped around from the wind and crackling energy around them, exposing the iridescent scaled leggings she wore under it, tucked safely into her boots. “Come down here, Wanda.”

Her hands were held defensively as she watched the younger witch carefully. “I’m not here to play dodgeball, Hot Stuff. Just wanna have a chat.”

“ i’m not going anywhere NEAR you , “ she snapped , eyes narrowing as she glared down at the other . sure , agatha had far more experience , but wanda had more power . guess you could say they were equals . “ i’m not letting you take my power . “ she kept the energy ball swirling between her hands , eyeing the other witch as closely as she could . she needed to make sure agatha would not attack her . wanda would not make the first move , so she had to watch closely for agatha’s first move .

“Let’s start with movin’ that piece of debris there, aye?” Jackson lead a small group of people towards rubble that was blocking the entrance to a building. There was no telling what could be behind it, but with the danger of Ultron and his robots gone for the past few weeks the worst thing that could possibly happen was someone throwing their back out. 

His group wasn’t the only one that helped cleared what remained of Novi Grad, his older sister, Johanne, was leading a different group on the other side of the mess. Although he had originally been hired by the US Government as an Intelligence Agent, he decided to opt out of it once the dust had cleared and signed up to do what he could to help the Sokovian survivors. 

Just as he was about to start leading his group, he spotted a familiar face nearby. Familiar in a sense that he may have seen her face on the news or even glanced through her file some time ago. Unsure, the brunet gestured for the others to go on ahead of him and he slowly jogged towards the woman. 

“Hey there, miss. Somethin’ I can help ya with?”

of course , helping fix up her home country of sokovia was what wanda wanted to do . she would do anything for her country . but it was absolutely heartbreaking to see sokovia so broken like this . . thankfully , it could’ve been far worse , but thanks to the avengers , it had been saved -- goodness , thanking the avengers was not something wanda had ever expected herself to be doing . the witch was making her way through the rubble , helping anywhere she could . she had already spent a few hours helping deliver food , clothes and any other necessities to the survivors who had been rescued from the rubble already , and now she was determined to help rescue more . wanda conjured a singular hex to lift up a massive piece of concrete , grunting lightly from the effort , and managed to set it aside . her eyes softened as she found a woman trapped underneath ; she had sensed the woman’s thoughts , but had hoped to god that she hadn’t been trapped .  she helped the woman over to the others , before looking up as she heard someone address her . “ just help bring the others to safety , “ she said to him , thick accent rolling off of her lips with ease . she didn’t care about herself . she just wanted to help the others . it was what pietro would have wanted .
